Notts County Captain Kyle Cameron Aims for Top Three in League Two
The Skipper has to have confidence that promotion is viable; I think the optimism is something that will increase tenfold. I think there's a lot of chance that Notts can push on and do well in League Two. I certainly feel more inclined to agree with Kyle Cameron than I would anyone who suggested we are mid-table candidates.

Captain Kyle Cameron Discusses Notts County’s Training Regime
to see such commitment and drive to perform well in the upcoming season. The training focus and enthusiasm in the squad make me believe that we'll be quite the force in League Two!

Notts County Ready for League Two: Manager Luke Williams Shares Insights
I Agree with Luke Williams, it's about applying pressure and causing problems for the opposition. We've shown that we can force teams into a deep block; now we need to work on finding more solutions to that puzzle. Regardless, I have high hopes for our first season back in the league.

Gateshead friendly incident
Words can’t express how stupid I think this is. If they intended to give out leaflets warning people, it could have been done in the stands. The issue is that it most likely wouldn’t make the press.

New Chief Executive appointed
Now that the new CEO has been appointed, we can start to focus more internally on the club’s progression and next season. I don’t think it would have had a big impact on the club’s daily operations to wait until this point to hire someone. I would rather they carefully choose than rush the process.

Close season reflections and pre-season anticipation
It’s all a blur now; after Wembley, everything just seems to have sped up. Usually, I get a few days to myself in the close season. The downside [which is not a negative] of having a good season is that as soon as it finishes, you want the very next one to begin. Unless the previous season seemed like a one-off, but even then it can seem exciting.

The cost of spending a penny
The plus point of being a security guard is that, if in locations where others might have to pay, we don’t. I try to avoid public toilets, even ones that require payment. I’d rather use restaurants like McDonald’s or KFC, as they tend to have strict cleaning policies. Not all do, but it’s a lot better than using some.

Lionesses
There’s not a single chance I could catch a game even if I wanted to. After I finish work, I sleep straight until I wake up for food and then repeat. It’s a very slim chance that I will see a game, so highlights make do for me, but I wish the England women’s team all the best.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Pilgrims (A)
Boston United have made some good signings, including a few former Notts players. This may motivate them to raise their game and show Notts what they’re missing or that they’re good players. Jimmy Knowles will pose more of a threat than any of the away friendlies so far, with his pace and direct approach requiring us to be alert and focused. It should prove to be a better game.

Chicksen thoughts on efl2
The quality of the opposition helps. I think it will benefit players from outside the football league and youth players. It won't benefit experienced players or those close to their potential as much, but that's normal. There are still many players who show signs of growth, which is encouraging.

Ollie Tipton, Notts trialist at Telford
A colleague of mine who is a fan said that Tipton looked very promising - a ball-playing defender with pace who puts in extra effort to compensate for any shortcomings. I can't say whether it's a potential loan or permanent signing, but a young centre-back could help now and join the squad as he gains more experience.

Charlie Slater favourite commentary clips
There will be many memorable moments, and everyone will have their personal favourites, but they are all largely positive memories. This past season was incredible.
-
Where are they now? - Joss Labadie
Joss Labadie appears to be an excellent signing. Any of the promotion favourites could have signed him, and I believe he would have strengthened their squad on paper. I hope he works hard and proves to be a turning point in his career by dropping down and helping Solihull Moors.

Thought for the day
Young people often feel the need to change in order to be noticed or accepted, but this is not necessary. If some people seem uninterested, keep looking for those who are without changing yourself.

MAGnets links - Boston United
Notts signed Lawrie Dudfield from Boston United.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Discusses Player Injuries and Pre-Season Training
I commend the club for raising the questions and hope that this continues throughout the season, particularly if a more severe injury occurs. While I wouldn't expect updates after every game, a monthly update would be reassuring if a longer recovery time is needed. What I value most is the informative nature of the updates. In the past, we were left to speculate, and I believe it's essential for fans to have at least a rough idea. This is far more important than minor injuries sustained during pre-season. It could prevent a lot of speculation, for example, regarding Junior Morias' absence from the squad following his cameo appearance.

Luke Williams discusses Notts County’s new kit design and player evaluation
I like that Luke Williams managed to go on holiday by himself, but is now back and focused on this season. Although he has one promotion under his belt, he's not thinking of that success but rather building on it. He's a very impressive manager for his age and is showing wisdom far beyond his coaching years.

Simon Clark’s Pick of the Top Away Games to Enjoy This Season
I am disappointed that the Salford fixture has changed. I can't make that game now, but I think a fair portion of this will be. I can't attend many weekday games, so those are the occasional treat. I'm all about the weekend. Very good read, @Simon Clark.

Notts Alumni: Ian Richardson
Ian Richardson - "Richo" is and always will be a hero to this club. His playing days are legendary as it is, very loyal and determined. He's someone the club should look to get back, having ex players involved gives the club it's identity. They couldn't go wrong choosing to hire him.

Charlie Slater moves on
I only occasionally heard his commentary, which I thought was okay. He had his quirks, but what I liked were the brilliant videos of him and Mark Stallard. Those reaction videos were something special and it’s sad to see their partnership end. I wish Charlie all the best.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Bucks (A)
Luke Williams will have his plans and will know who he wants to see more of before the final friendly and the start of the season against Sutton. I am hoping to hear good things about the defender we have on trial.
