  1. Hoping that Notts can extend their winning streak to six matches, it would be a significant accomplishment and would greatly enhance our position. We’re also relying on favourable outcomes in some of the other matches!
  2. Leeds United 1-1 Watford Swansea City 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday Joker Cambridge United 1-2 Port Vale Portsmouth 3-1 Lincoln City Morecambe 0-2 Swindon Town Stockport County 2-2 Wrexham Gateshead 2-0 Maidenhead United Oldham Athletic 0-1 Oxford City
  3. Jodi Jones is proving to be a remarkable asset to both Notts County and his national team. His exceptional skills and consistent performance have been pivotal in many of both teams recent successes. Jones, has shown tremendous versatility and adaptability on the pitch. His ability to read the game, combined with his speed and agility, makes him a formidable opponent. He has a knack for being in the right place at the right time, often making decisive contributions that change the course of the match.
  4. If we create opportunities, I’m sure the game will be entertaining. So far, we’ve managed to avoid any disappointments from the officials. I don’t want to jinx it, but I hope we can secure a solid victory. Let’s hope for no unnecessary yellow cards and definitely no red cards for Notts.
  5. What an incredible goal that was! The quick touches and acceleration in the crucial area really made a difference. It must be quite frustrating to be on the receiving end of such a goal.
  6. Neil Warnock is indeed a remarkable man. His decision to come out of retirement to assist Huddersfield demonstrates his character. Without him, they might have been in trouble. As for Darren Moore, he might end up regretting his decision to leave Sheffield Wednesday.

Hello, @Benji. Welcome to the community here on PON.
  9. Hello, @Morten Johansen. Welcome to the community here on PON.
  10. Kyle's goal was class - a humble lad with such great talent. Notts County is lucky to have him. What a result!
  11. I absolutely agree, Connell Rawlinson has a role in this squad but we need someone to alleviate the pressure off him when the teams have pace or are more energetic. I believe Rawlinson can manage against quality teams, it all hinges on their playing style and he might have assumed someone else was behind him. I don’t think he’s the type of player to shy away and feel defeated, but one who will persist in trying to give his best and I wish some fans would recognise this when they criticise him.
  12. Intriguing and anticipated decision to sack their manager, but I wasn’t certain who they would bring in. Tranmere Rovers are one of the EFL’s oddest teams with how they oscillate between divisions, never really having one they can call home for long. Non-League, Championship, League One and Two. They’ve experienced them all, this squad should be performing much better.
  13. It’s a right laugh, I don’t take this seriously at all and I’m here for the fun. Which is what everyone in my position ought to be saying.
  14. Resilience was the key takeaway from this match. Despite the early setback, the comeback from Notts County was tremendous. Crowley had an incredible match, a sublime example for the team to follow. Cameron's goal was well-deserved too.
  15. Rest in Peace Ian Hamilton, it's a very tragic loss. He was an immense player for West Brom.
  16. The event was fantastic, and even though I was not present, I watched it at Notts. The atmosphere was electric, almost as if one were actually there, which would have been quite an experience. Hopefully, one day, we will be able to welcome them to Meadow Lane.
  17. Adam Chicksen demonstrated why he should have been in the starting line-up. It is unclear if Will Randall even made an appearance as a substitute. I don't remember any.
  18. It was a well-played match, with both sides having opportunities but failing to capitalise on all of them. The game seemed destined for a draw, and it was unfortunate that the team did not continue to test the opposition’s defence in the second half after scoring. While MK Dons did engage in some unfair gamesmanship, the team still had control but lacked clear chances.
  19. This is a positive development, and it is hoped that the momentum can be maintained. The team remains undefeated since the first match, which is an achievement. There is much potential for further progress.
  20. Notts County demonstrated remarkable tenacity in their match against MK Dons, coming back from a deficit to earn a well-deserved draw. Kyle Cameron’s goal in the second half was especially noteworthy, as it not only equalised the game but also showcased his leadership skills and value to the team. The Magpies’ defence was also outstanding [bar their goal], making several key interceptions and vital saves. All in all, this was an excellent outcome for Notts County, and they will undoubtedly approach their next game with renewed optimism.
  21. Exeter City 1-1 Leyton Orient Stevenage 0-2 Carlisle United Joker Accrington Stanley 2-2 Mansfield Town Colchester United 1-3 Tranmere Rovers Forest Green Rovers 0-1 Crewe Alexandra AFC Fylde 2-1 Aldershot Bromley 0-0 Maidenhead United Woking 0-1 Solihull Moors
  22. I'm really happy to hear Luke acknowledge the fan support role in their journey. It's an incredible feeling to know that our cheering and support makes a difference.
  23. He will be missed while on international duty, but it’s a good chance for someone else, most likely Sam Austin, to get some game time under his belt with Jodi Jones’ absence. I am pleased for Jodi; he deserves the call-up. I hope he does well.
  24. I am surprised he didn’t go running around the office waving his arms as if he had scored. Football is a beautiful game!
  25. Given a six-year deal, it shows that they want to see their fee somewhat protected for the long term. However, if he doesn’t reach their heights, the fee will still be way over the market value. No wonder Forest snapped up their offer. You can’t blame them for taking the money, but Spurs are rather silly with some of their fees.
