  1. Welcome to the PON community, it's a good site. So, hello @George L.
  2. Welcome to the PON community, it's a good site. So, hello to all four of you.
  3. I am happy with this too. I don’t mind loan deals when they’re not just padding or rushed deals that make no sense. Luke Williams has had him in to take a look, and that’s good enough for me. Welcome to Meadow Lane, Ollie!
  4. This is great news for Cal. I hope it’s not an injury that will set him back further. It would be good to see him doing well, even if it is with Scunthorpe United. He deserves success.
  5. Ian Burchnall did well for us, and Neal Ardley and the board made it a lot easier for him. Yet there’s no comparison between him and Luke Williams. Burchnall will one day make it back to management, most likely overseas, but I do wish him well.
  6. After hearing David McGoldrick’s thoughts, I do think he is showing positive signs of being ready for the campaign ahead. His dedication, fitness level, and commitment to learning are pretty inspiring. He’ll surely have a significant impact on the team’s performance this season.
  7. Sad news, rest in peace Trevor Francis.
  8. Rest in Peace, it's a very sad loss to the world but she has been tormented for most of her life bless her.
  9. Matt Redmile left Notts to go join Shrewsbury Town.
  10. There is likely no truth in what they have written, as was discussed during the period when Notts were linked to players. The72 does not report on things for their value, but rather for the clickbait they can generate from their news. They are not a credible source, so while there is nothing wrong with speculation, running a site solely based on the number of hits each link can get does not sit well.
  11. Tobi Adebayo-Rowling appears to be a happy-go-lucky individual, but he must have faced some difficulties with his injuries and maintaining focus through them. I bet he takes after someone else in his family, as his character is outgoing and bubbly. It’s a refreshing change from some of the miserable faces the club had before the Reedtz takeover; some of those looked like they needed charging just to get up in the morning. Tobi is a credit to the club, and well done to him for his positive outlook and exuberant approach to life.
  12. Williams clearly knows his team well. The mention of Aaron Nemane’s tightness issue, for instance, suggests the management is very attuned to each player’s physical condition. I applaud Williams for not pushing the players too hard, which can often be counterproductive. Also, his emphasis on the right level of conditioning and tactical understanding shows the right priorities are in place as we head into the new season.
  13. Welcome to PON, @Bryn Roberts. A warm hello to you, I hope you stick around.
  14. Best Signing: Jodi Jones Highest Goal Scorer: Macaulay Langstaff Most Improved Player of the Season: Sam Austin Most Starts in the Season: Matt Palmer Best partnership between two players: Kyle Cameron and Connell Rawlinson
  15. Hello, @stutheumpire1862. Welcome to PON, a warm hello to you from me.
  16. Hello, @Jones10. A warm hello to you here on PON.
  17. A warm and friendly, hello to you @Kevin May.
  18. This is an important discussion. I wholeheartedly agree with @Wilfordpie. Football, for all its competitiveness, is a game of passion and camaraderie. Criticism, when constructive, can contribute positively to the development of our team and players. However, unnecessary taunting and disrespect, particularly aimed at young players who are still finding their feet, is simply detrimental. It undermines confidence and adds unnecessary psychological pressure.
  19. We need to show him that not all Notts fans are hooligans. Let’s have a whip-round and buy him something really nice, like a goalkeeper who doesn’t put the ball into the back of his own net.
  20. I can’t say I’m surprised. They look exactly the same, but I hope Treads gives Twitter a run for its money.
  21. Both shirts are perfectly fine. I’ve already pre-purchased the pair of them and the new training top. I think the away shirt is the nicest we’ve had for at least 5 years. The simplicity is very elegant.
  22. Hopefully, Meta will not give up on this and will keep some of the idiots and trolls out of the platform. I don’t like Twitter because it’s not very well moderated, if at all.
  23. This is just the kind of news we were waiting for. Up and onward!
  24. I am impressed by Williams' approach and attitude towards the pre-season injuries and the match with Stoke. It's clear that he has strong leadership skills.
  25. Welcome to PON, @Michael D P, Its a good site here!
