Welcome to PON, @rohan, Its a good site here!
  2. Notts County's opening games will surely set the pace for the rest of the season. Looking forward to some thrilling games!
  3. I hope he keeps finding the net like he did last season, there is no reason why he can't get double figures again this season in League Two.
  4. I didn’t attend the game, but from what I’ve read from those who did, Aidan Stone seems like a promising goalkeeper, very vocal. If he can perform like this against Stoke or Forest, he may become the first-choice goalkeeper.
  5. At this point, I really don’t care what the shirt looks like. Many teams at this stage have already released their new designs and most have already shown them. We are holding off as a promotional push to drive sales and it’s becoming frustrating. It’s making me very uninterested in when they do get released.
  6. Anders Jacobsen came straight from Stoke City to Notts County, does anyone remember the defender? It's a name I have not heard for ages.
  7. The pressure on young players when they step on the pitch can be immense, especially if they're playing with experienced teammates. Hearing how brilliantly they've handled it from the manager is truly commendable and shows a great deal of maturity on their part.
  8. Classy move, Stoke City! Makes you reflect on the essence of sport!
  9. It's absolutely paramount to be able to change the game and adapt to different situations. We've seen so many teams with potential falter because they lacked that adaptability. Good to see our manager is focusing on this.
  10. Matty Palmer’s performances on the pitch have been nothing short of delightful to witness. His skill and dedication have brought so much excitement to the game, and we can only hope that he continues to have many more successful seasons with Notts County. Here’s to the future and all the thrilling moments it holds for Matty and the team!
  11. Surely Rochdale have seen him play? He couldn’t hit a barn, never mind the door. His goals are tap-ins and basic ones at that. I can’t see him doing well with them. It’s either desperation or they have a lower budget and are risking a gamble on him.
  12. Who knows where he will end up next? He may wait until January to take on a new club and wait out the early stages. Or he may jump straight in. I know people are linking him with Rotherham United in the Championship.
  13. I’m still hoping we sign a left-back/wing-back, a centre defender and maybe a defensive midfielder. Someone aged 21-23 who can learn from John Bostock and Jim O’Brien.
  14. I hope thay Aidan Stone brings some added confidence to the defence. A reliable and commanding presence in goal can boost the morale of the entire team.
  15. In my opinion, David McGoldrick will be our secret weapon this season. His experience and passion for Notts County will definitely make an impact.
  16. The Reedtz brothers have definitely made a massive difference to the club. Their management style and commitment to the team has been a breath of fresh air. Long may this "good dream" continue!
  17. Everyone else has expressed positive opinions on this deal. I can’t add much to it, but I think it’s a solid addition. He’s a player of the right age, mould and ability.
  18. Darren Moore has done wonders for Sheffield Wednesday. As for Gary O’Neil, I felt he seemed short-term the moment he took the Bournemouth job. Both managers did well for their teams and should be able to move onto a new club. Good luck to the pair.
  19. I’m so happy for the team and our fans. They truly deserve this success. Their story is a great sign of the fact that even when things look bleak, there’s always hope for a brighter future.
  20. Happy Birthday, @Fan of Big Tone. I hope you received some more cheeky cards!
  21. I am bit surprised myself, but really, his days in Scotland seemed to be limited due to injury. Cal Roberts will be able to help Scunthorpe out far more.
  22. It is a great signing and he should fit in well and do superbly for us. He could be a future Notts County star, signed at the right age!
  23. O’Brien’s journey with Notts has been wonderful to see him achieve success with the club, even if it did take a few seasons.
  24. You seem much happier, @super_ram, since your sparring partner has returned. I’m glad that someone is bringing laughter to the site.
  25. He possesses a level of talent that is rare for someone his age. Being selected from a lower youth setup and given the opportunity to play for one of the biggest Premier League teams undoubtedly adds pressure. Liverpool could have arranged more loan deals for him, as that experience is often beneficial. I believe Notts has the potential to revive his career by first loaning him out and then gradually giving him opportunities to break into the team.
