Adam Summerton on League 2
It's intriguing to see the various opinions about who has a chance for promotion. I concur with the majority that Bradfrod City, Tranmere Rovers, and MK Dons do seem to have a strong chance. Watching their progress and the strategies they adopt will be interesting. A lot hinges on not just team strength but also how they react to pressure in the face of stiff competition.

Oldham v Chesterfield
The level of competition in the National League isn't as fierce now, the top six teams is quite average. It is going to be a real treat watching these matches to see who causes a surprise and who fails to make the grade.

Maddison pays tribute to Jodi Jones
James Maddison is not only a star on the field but also a role model off of it. Many players can learn from his kindness and respect towards his fellow players.

Macaulay Langstaff on Target in Notts County's Pre-Season Triumph
It's clear that Langstaff's teamwork with Crowley is paying off big time. This is just what Notts County needed for the upcoming season!

Notts County’s First Five League Games: A Closer Look
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your analysis of Notts County's opening fixtures, @Joshua Barnes. It's always an exciting time for fans when the new season approaches, and these first five games will certainly be crucial for Notts to establish themselves as contenders.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Boro (A)
It will be a joy to be back watching Notts play. The performance and score don’t matter; it’s just the glimpse of seeing Williams’ newly-assembled squad mix in with those that won us promotion last season. I’m sure most of the players are in good spirits and fitness, so it will be nice to see the game in a relaxed environment.

Notts County’s Luke Williams on Building a Competitive Squad for League Two
After reading this, I feel optimistic about our chances in the League Two. Williams seems to have a solid plan in place, focusing on not just maintaining a competitive squad but also ensuring all players feel heard and valued. It's clear he realises the psychological aspects play as significant a role as the physical skills and abilities.

Nice gesture by Stoke FC
This is a very good gesture by Stoke City. I’m sure Notts will consider making a donation, perhaps at the game or announcing it afterwards. Well done to Stoke.

It's a great move bringing in experienced players; they’ll enrich our game plan.

Aaron Nemane agrees to new two-year contract with Notts County
The news that Nemane has signed a new two-year contract with Notts County is music to my ears. Not only is he an incredible player whose skills on the field have greatly benefited the club, but he’s also a solid character who has a positive influence over the rest of the squad. On field, he is known for his impressive speed and precise control, making him a joy to watch.

Notts Alumni: Mick Vinter
Mick Vinter's contributions to Notts County will always be remembered by fans. A true legend!

Fixture list announced
I hope the squad is still excited about the new season and thinks that the fixtures are quite good for getting off to a strong start. I bet Luke Williams is filling the squad with confidence and telling them to just enjoy the pre-season. However, once the first game against Sutton comes around, it will be time to get down to business.

Yes, he is clever and knows quite a few things. Unfortunately, he chose to support Leicester City due to the influence of his father.

Goalkeeper is latest signing
I can’t say I know much about Aidan Stone, but I do trust the club’s recruitment policy. I had hoped that if we were to sign a goalkeeper, they would be close to the ability of Sam Slocombe. Aidan Stone might be a good backup and ready for the first team when Slocombe moves on or retires.

Carabao Cup 1st round fixture announced
I think the draw for the FA Trophy is good. The competition can be repetitive, but if we do well and beat Lincoln City, we may get a more exciting second-round draw. The main thing is to make it into the draw for the next round.

Get Connected: Add an Avatar and Complete Your Profile
My grandson made my profile picture for me. He told me that it’s a small computer board type thing and said it would be good for my Twitter handle. I asked him to add the old single magpie and the rest is history. I sometimes struggle with technology, but I find Twitter and PON quite easy to use, although I do make the odd mistake. I’ll take a look at my profile and see what I can do.

England Kit Collecting
I have three England home shirts in total. The last one I purchased was in 2002. However, my favourite is the 1998 shirt. The other one is from 1994 - it has a classic look but is a bit dated now.

Pre-release Discussion: Notts County's 2023/24 League Two Home and Away Kit
In terms of away kits, I'd like to see something similar to the 2008/09 season. I felt that one was really something different and unique from our usual designs.

Derry and Labadie on Jack Grealish
Joss Labadie may not be everyone's favorite choice for this discussion, but it's always interesting to hear different perspectives on Grealish's time at Notts County.

Notts County’s Permanent Signings: Who’s Your Favourite?
Talent aside, I think the spirit and passion of David McGoldrick will be infectious within the team. His love for Notts County will drive our squad to greater heights.

Darren Moore and Gary O'neil - Sacked.
Clubs that frequently dismiss their managers should face fines and sanctions as a deterrent. This would encourage teams to commit to their managers and avoid wasting money. It is unfortunate for Darren Moore, who performed well but was ultimately released from his position.

Kyle Cameron signs contract
It is always beneficial to retain a captain. Kyle Cameron is a skilled player and is likely to improve alongside the rest of the squad. If the midfield can increase their defensive efforts, it will alleviate the pressure on the three defenders at the back, should Luke Williams decide to employ this strategy.
