  1. I listen to you mate ???????? That is not how free speech and the right to an opinion works though. You're entitled to say whatever you want to say if you're a billionaire or skint. Musk isn't a politician and isn't elected. I'm not sure what kind of title he gets if he starts this DOGE thing - but that hasn't started yet. I don't agree with Musk and his ranting escapades. Things like his support for AfD is not something I'm on par with. However, I think him rustling up a few feathers and highlighting many things leaders want kept under guard, aka covered up, is a positive. Leaders like Trudeau, Macron and Stamer fully deserve their actions to be questioned thoroughly and if the traditional media refuse to do it, social media will (and is going to) replace it.
  2. Does the signing of Jarvis mean he is leaving? Happy to leave that decision to Maynard and staff, they are the ones that see him daily in training.
  3. Looks very promising, although I don't think I've seen him play before. Hopefully it won't be the usual case of taking 3 months to 'embed him into our system' before we see him.
  4. I took it as tongue in cheek, which I'm pretty sure it is. I very much doubt Musk or Trump are drawing up plans for operation Sea Lion V2. He has every right to express his opinion that our government is tyrannical, as much as you have the right as a Brit to criticise the incoming American government. There's plenty of source material both ways.
  5. I'm not saying what they did isn't legal and indeed it happens often. However, it is incredibly stupid for the current UK government to actively send political volunteers to go over to the States and back the loser - especially when the winner is known to hold grudges. Incredibly ignorant move that will affect the UK as a whole, all for political point scoring games. You are beginning to the repercussions of that stupidity now. Musk can't directly donate 100 million without breaking the law. If he is to do it, he'll likely do it the indirect and legal way that all the others do it.
  6. Probably due to a number of reasons. The Labour party's interference in the American election. What a great move that was. Reap what you sow. Musk has been a strong advocate for free speech and allowing all thoughts on his X platform, as long as they don't break the law. The UK government is a strong advocate for speech and thought suppression. Those are 2 obvious ones. Sure there are more.
  7. Until about three weeks ago, I'd have driven him to his next club myself. Something seems to have clicked recently though, not sure if he's finally settled into a system and showing his genuine quality or it is just temporary form.
  8. Never an easier poll. Anybody who doesn't pick Didzy is wrong.
  9. Kyle Cameron forced off 30 minutes into his Barrow debut with a shoulder injury.
  10. COYP. Be interesting to see how serious the injuries to Macari and Ness are/were and if they're in contention. Think it's too early to expect Jodi to be ready to start, expect him to come on around 60-70 minutes mark, depending how the game is going, with a view to starting the next game and being subbed around the 60-70 minute mark.

Oh come on now, even you can't believe that spin! ????????????
  12. We started the first half well and were the better side in the early exchanges. Half way through the first half we seem to change tack and engage MK in a battle of 'who can pass it sideways and backwards' the best. Nobody won, least not the fans. Crowd was flat and it was all a bit 'seen this before' at HT. Thankfully the second half was totally different and Notts really got to grips with an ineffective Miltone Keynes. The 2-0 scoreline flattered them a bit, both Didzy and Jatta particularly wasteful. As for former Notts players; Lemon head Evans has never convinced me in or out of a Notts shirt. Nemane is dangerous, but he does little with it.
  13. Jevani Brown joins Notts County on loan | Bristol Rovers FC WWW.BRISTOLROVERS.CO.UK Bristol Rovers can confirm that Jevani Brown has joined Sky Bet League Two side Notts County on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season. "The loan agreement comes with the option of a break in January." If I were Stuart Maynard, I'd be exercising it if we could bring somebody better in.
  14. Swansea currently sit 11th. Without knowing much about their finances/backing etc... that seems decent going for a club that get approximately 15k fans in the Championship and have been flirting with the bottom end of the table in more recent seasons.
  15. I have no idea as to how to answer the question. However, I'm loving their current situation - long may it continue!

I think it's obvious how terrible of a policy that is, hence not mentioning it. The fact it comes from a Labour government, is just depressing. Labour are marching into the abyss and will get pummelled in the next election should they continue their current trend. If there is a particularly cold winter, I wouldn't be surprised if Starmer was gone by Summer.

Agreed. The Tories are almost entirely at fault for the mess in which our energy industry is currently in. If you think Ed Milliband is the answer though, I'd ponder the question. Disagree about the farmers. They aren't targeting the mega rich - they've clearly made an insane miscalculation over who this actually affects. Sure, it will cost the 'very rich' a few shillings when they hand it over to their kids - but these type of people have a way to get around such things with loopholes and the like - so the government will receive diddly squat - and not Clarkson's. The people is does impact, however, will be your 'everyday' farmer, those not earning millions or anywhere close, but are seen as 'asset rich' because of the land. The net result is disastrous for British farming, if this policy persists - and I sincerely hope it doesn't - farming land will be sold left right and centre. Clearly, if you have an ideological persuasion to believe that is a good thing, this policy would make sense. I believe that Starmer does, and that's why he's implemented it. I don't. Agree that the Tories have spent 14 years and left us in a mess. I strongly believe this will be seen in a decade or two as a complete stain on that party, not that I care much for it anyway. However, let us not harbour any hope that this current Labour mob will do anything but continue the decline or hasten it. Strong kick up the backside / major re-direction required in British politics.
  18. Really depressing. We lost because they wanted it more and we didn't.
  19. Didn't go today nor did I listen. However when I saw the subs being made, specifically Martin and Brown, I thought to myself 'why's he bringing them on?'. What followed didn't surprise. I think Josh Martin is going to be released. I recall (hopefully correctly) he had a 6 month contract. I wouldn't be against terminating Brown's loan either. He's not terrible like Martin, but I think you can get better from the loan market.
  20. No clipboard man - no party.
  21. The UK main stream media are fascinating in a way. Even before the internet existed, they've conducted click bait nonsense of dire warnings in winter that it might get cold and in the summer catastrophic predictions that it might be warmer than winter. Nostradamus with a 0% hit record.
  22. None. Burn them all in the depths of hell.
  23. Difficult to pick. Nobody was terribly but most average. Tsaroulla too for me.
  24. Great move for him and so pleased he played well on his debut. Keep it up Ryley
