I hope the club can do something at a later date, such as an open training day but the scenes are nice. It's a shame some fans will have missed out due to the rejections from the council.

They failed to put the game to bed, I am sure they have plenty of regrets. As would Notts if they lost, but for our sake this didn't happen. The Chesterfield fans' behaviour at times travelling and around the ground was pathetic. Only inside did they seem to be there for the right reason.

Typically, when I feel nervous, it’s not a positive experience. I’m concerned that Chesterfield will have more desire and consequently perform better as a team. I hope I’m mistaken, but I worry that Notts won’t handle the situation as well and Chesterfield isn’t Boreham Wood. Although they’ve given us victories in the past after taking the lead, this is much different from a league match.

Notts needs to win! Our players must stay focused and avoid being intimidated or struggling to play the ball forward. No silly cards - just focus on creating chances and putting away the good ones. They can do this!

I'm both surprised and not surprised at the same time. I voted for Sam Slocombe, who has had to work hard at times this season. While it's true that when Notts plays well the keeper has little to do, there have been spells where Slocombe has single-handedly kept games a win or a draw. Very rarely has he been at fault for conceding. He's a solid player and deserves recognition for his efforts.

Macaulay Langstaff has had an impressive first season at Notts County and has certainly made a strong case for being named the signing of the season. He has consistently performed well on the pitch and has been a valuable asset to the team. It’s great to see him getting the recognition he deserves and I would definitely cast my vote for him as the signing of the season.

Luke Williams is known for his unique managerial style where he likes to play games with the media and downplay things. Despite this, he has not done much wrong so far. Even though we are the favorites, he knows that we have to earn our place at Wembley and beyond that. He understands that nothing is given and everything must be earned.

To go down to the 2nd from last game in order to crown the champions of the National League is just remarkable. I would much prefer to see Woking finish 2nd, then for Chesterfield, Barnet, Bromley and Boreham Wood to finish in the playoff spaces beneath. It’s been a nail-biter of a season.

Yes, congratulations to Wrexham for their historic return to the Football League. They have been the type of rivals that only brings the best out of those good enough to compete for the title. This league tends to be a one team run away, so it’s refreshing to see that Notts and Wrexham has gone toe to toe all season. A true battle of the titans.

Now, I know Jim O’Brien is getting on in terms of a footballer, but let me tell you, he doesn’t often miss a beat. He’s a credit to the club for his approach to being a leader and a player who is happy to wait in the wing to make an appearance. A true professional.

Ah yes, it looks like the playoffs are well and truly underway! And what a day it was for Notts County Football Club. A comprehensive 5-2 victory over Maidstone United sends a clear signal of intent to their rivals. It wasn't just a statement against Maidstone either; Wrexham needed to work hard to overcome Boreham Wood earlier in the day, so this result puts even more pressure on them to perform. What made things all the sweeter for Notts fans? A dominant display right from the start, featuring confident, composed football from the entire squad. Individually speaking, several Notts players impressed throughout the contest, none more than midfielder Jim O'Brien. His energetic showing earned him praise from supporters and pundits alike, capping off his finest hour in a Notts shirt yet. While there were occasional lapses in concentration at the back, overall the defenders rose to the challenge and gave their all without losing composure. With performances like these coming together in key moments, hopes will be high among those supporting the Magpies that silverware could soon return to Meadow Lane once again.

The Hillsborough disaster was a dark day that affected not only those at the match but people across the United Kingdom. It's tragic to think that so many deaths could have been avoided if common sense and care were taken. Allowing fans onto the pitch when it became clear that there were too many in the stands could have saved lives.

The performance doesn't matter to me, to progress to the next round would is all that does. Notts needs to play with confidence and be clinical on goal.

Get the right players and let them do the business on the pitch, that is the way to convince fans the signings are exciting.

Weymouth look like a very poor team that only turns up every other game, they can attack but defensively they're questionable. No doubt playing Notts will mean they will want to be at their very best.

It's a long way to go until this is resolved, I am doubtful about the vaccination because I am not sure how it will work properly without making those who have it ill.

The squad look like they could beat anyone put before them, it's also good to see the amount of hard work gone into converting crosses. Notts should use the attacking options we have like this, all of the strikers know how to use their heads. Fantastic 4-0 win.

By far one of the best signings, if not the best. It's a significant importance that Notts got the deal across the line, if he had left due to other interest, I do feel it would have been like Yates leaving a few seasons back.
