  1. Good luck to whatever he does next. I wonder who is going to be taking on the role as Notts commentator.
  2. Definetly not a good decision because now most that work friday won't be able to make the match as they won't have enough time. Notts will have alot less fans attending because of this.
  3. Hopefully Notts can use this match as training like the rest of the friendlies. It will be a good away day for anyone thats going.
  4. @Fan of Big Tone west park is probably one of the flatter parks ive been to, much easier to do a run on. Glad your relaxing now after that.
  5. I don't think its the background thats the issue, its the placement and the fact that whoever takes the photo needs to take it within the background, not getting whats surrounding it too.
  6. They actually announced that they had purchased more shirts this year due to the demand past seasons but either it was not many more or it was the same because every year they run out quite quickly, this is very early to run out though.
  7. I hope they survive and get an owner that will help them become more financially stable.
  8. He would be a good player to sign.
  9. Welcome to Pon!
  10. Its not nice for the fans when theres news like this, they are the ones that will suffer. Hopefully they will be survive and get a new owner that actually cares about the club.
  11. I don't watch many movies/films but if i do, most of the time they are either on the tv channels or from streaming. I remember using VHS and then dvds as i got to about my teenage years. I havent paid for streaming of films/movies as i would just wait to watch it for free or if i really wanted to see it i would go to the cinema(on the rare occasion) and even then we tend to wait for it to be when its been out for abit so its quieter. I do however collect cds by some bands but stream most of my music using youtube music on my phone. My hifi system to play cds on hasnt been set up again for years. I struggled to listen to music for years due to my constant sinus headaches and migraines but with better pain killers, i am slowly able to listen to it again.
  12. His input on it is interesting, we will have to see how he plays when the season starts.
  13. They do need to be charged for it but the rules need to be fair in terms of not letting some teams get away with things and some being charged or docked points. They can be quite heavy handed on some teams but leanient on others.
  14. Its a good choice for him. It would be nice to keep him but with the amount of game time he would likely get, it would be quite unfair for him to stay here for now. He played a very good part for our play offs last season along with his match time in the season itself.
  15. I've heard that its free, I haven't been but thats what was annouced on the official site.
  16. Not sure what to make of this one, but i do hope Notts either win or draw... at least in hope that they to get defeated by too many goals. Its always a game that plays a big part among both sets of fans. It is being streamed by Forest but at a cost for anyone who wants to watch it, if they can't make it to the match. https://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/news/2023/july/forest-stream-140723/
  17. There a plus point to hearing loss, if i don't want to hear lots of noise or the air conditioning, i just change the program to comfort or mute it completly. I'm just not sure having hardly any sense of smell and hearing loss aswell as processing dyslexia helps together. The adjustments to one of the hearing aid programs will hopefully help me hear the children at my school job as i still struggled with it last week, the difference was i could hear everything else that is unfamiliar making it harder to understand the little children. As for this weekend, i get a few hours with just the girls so i get to listen to my music and have a break. I will be replatting my middle daughters hair and doing homework with my youngest on sunday. No major plans this weekend for me.
  18. Can we all welcome @Kevin May to Pon!
  19. Welcome to PoN!
  20. Out of date and old things can still be used with a few upgraded parts if they were too slow or fine to use if it wasnt. If someone wanted a laptop to use without playing games, its likely the laptop would be fine for someone to use even if its old/out of date. It would be a shame to destroy it. @Fan of Big Tone
  21. I can agree there, the score may not be a good one for Notts but Stoke are a much higher level team and the team will learn from the play today.
  22. Something everyone can reflect on. It is good to look after yourself like you look after others around you(like family). I've put my family ahead of me, which is generally a mums job but i have learn't in the past few years i do need to take care of myself abit too.
  23. That will be welcomed by some fans, not too sure about the only cashless payments they've bought in.
  24. Its abit late to mention it now, also theres always fans of any fan base that cause issues. Most its in the minority not majority though. It was an important game for both teams and fan bases. They can try again this year. I know what the chesterfield fans were like before the game aswell.
  25. Personally i didnt like last seasons home or away shirt so theres a slight improvement, the stripes are wider but not nice. The colour on the away shirt is nice. I know what my family will be buying and i'll stick with my band tshirts as the games are too much for my headaches anyway. As long as the team plays well, the shirts don't matter do they. It is good when they look nice though.
