  1. Thank you, @Chris, for my display picture. I have been using an Aussie club’s badge since arriving at Meadow Lane, but they don’t play our football. I asked him if he would make the necessary changes to make it more Notts related. I think he has done a superb job; it’s a lot more detailed now.
  2. Hello, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham! @NorthPie
  3. The relationship between the club and fans right now needs to be nurtured. It’s very important that the club and the media team understand this. I think Luke Williams and the players do, but it isn’t something that can be taken for granted. We have seen this under previous owners who lost interest once they had alienated the supporter base. I don’t think this will happen under the Reedtz watch, but I am mindful that the club may become used to it and therefore not encourage it in the same healthy way that we see right now. It makes Notts County feel even more special; it makes you appreciate that we are a family club.
  4. It’s grim at Southend, but we aren’t seeing as much coverage in the news as we had with Bury and other clubs that were struggling. For example, when Bolton had issues, it was a big story, but all clubs in this situation are newsworthy. I hope their owner sells up and that the club can move on.
  5. Jodie will be delighted with the decision. Really, I don’t see the harm in awarding the goal to him.
  6. Welcome! Hello @Sir Magpie. It's nice to see another new member.
  7. One step at a time, that's the right attitude. Keep pushing forward, You Pies!
  8. He shows impeccable game spirit here; respect for his past but an unbending resolve for the present. His acknowledgement of the fans and their perception of him is also noteworthy. Great sportsman spirit!
  9. Tomorrow's game is crucial for the team's confidence moving forward. So far, Jodi Jones whose impressive form lately has us all looking forward to another match-winning performance. More precisely, it's our attack that needs an uplift, with creativeness and precision being key.
  10. Bostock's right on the money about our character. Keep the faith, fellow fans. Here's to a strong finish!
  11. Welcome to PON @Steveyward
  12. Hello, welcome to PON @David Shipston
  13. It’s all just chaos and terrible. Some people are becoming bigger and bigger idiots, even if the intentions are true. It’s still stupid.
  14. Terrible news, such sad thing too, Rest in peace, Trevor Francis.
  15. Hello, welcome to the PON website @JustLikeJuve.
  16. It sounds like the usual minor injuries and fatigue that come with preseason training. Can't wait to see the team in action once the season starts.

  24. What strikes me most about Williams' approach after the game is his commitment to open communication regarding the areas that need improvement. This honesty will surely resonate with the players, fostering mutual respect, accountability, and drive to do better. The fact that Williams personally took responsibility for causing the distraction that led to Forest's goal shows his maturity and leadership. This can't be easy but it's this kind of attitude and behaviour that elevates a good coach to a great one. I'm eager to see how the team evolves and improves in the coming weeks.
