  1. Hello, @Kelly and @Prodigal Red. It’s great to have you both here! We hope you enjoy your time with us and make the most of everything we have to offer.
  2. Welcome @nottsfan81! We’re so glad you’re here and can’t wait to get to know you better.
  3. Hello @nightOWL, thank you for your kind words and support. Would you be able to return and wish us luck for Saturday? I have a feeling that you might bring us some extra fortune after we went 2-0 down on Sunday.
  4. I'm not entirely sure what to think of the entire interview. I understand why some aspects have been criticised, but at present, the emphasis should be on the next game. We must observe how the players react to the comments and assess their performance on the pitch.
  5. Welcome to the fold, @Dry Nelson Ray.
  6. I've seen Tiernan Brooks play for the youth team numerous times, and he has grown and matured. Out of all the youth keepers I've had the pleasure of watching in the last 10 years, Brooks is by far the most promising. It's rare to see such a young keeper with a good grasp of vocal commands and a talent for reading the game. Most young keepers are decent shot-stoppers and react well, but Brooks is on a different level and will only get better with experience.
  7. It's not as much of a guessing game anymore. I reckon Notts are a lot more determined now, and under Luke Williams, the squad has been relentless in pressuring teams at times. I just hope it's not one of those off days. We need to see a determined Notts County. Although I think Wrexham have the title in the bag, I'd like to see the club break 100 points and finish the season as strongly as possible.
  8. I wonder what approach Luke Williams will take and who will stay on. I think there's a good chance of retaining most of the players if the right decisions are made. Notts offers much more than just competitive football, even if we don't secure promotion. Some of these players could build a real legacy here instead of bouncing around from club to club.
  9. The start of the season seemed different in a good way, being undefeated for so long and that one game seems to have stung the players more, leading to the two collapsed defeats. Well, I hope Yeovil will be a different outcome. I think Notts could win 2-0, if they work hard enough.
  10. ???? its great to have you at Meadow Lane, Joel.
  11. The pies are on the up, mighty, mighty pies. Great performance on BT Sports, I hope the weather is better in London when they make their trip to Wembley.
  12. Cracking result and a top performance which got going more in the second half. Its puts to rest the opening game!
  13. I have my doubts about the game, but I am hopeful it will go ahead and that Notts gets the right results. All the points possible are needed now.
  14. I don't much time worrying about it, just one of those illnesses you have to be mindful of when in public or around people.
  15. God help if Notts lost tomorrow, there would be a massive meltdown and those who want Ardley out speaking up again.
  16. The first half at times was a joy to watch, O'Brien touches were magic and Dennis and Wootton worked very well together. Everything was coming through Roberts, which eventually slowed down. Enzio had another poor game for me, he had the chance to pass to any of 3 players but decided to go for glory. That was a bit selfish, as the other options could have been better. How many poor passes or crosses did he make in the first half? Yes, it's great to see him take on players but there's a time when it becomes to much. Second half, Woking played better. They made Notts work and I have to be honest Rawlinson looks different alongside Bird [who I thought defended the best out of the two]. Luck to scrape the draw, Notts needs to stop trying to walk the ball into the net. Roberts changes the dynamics, so why are we lacking that natural wide play?
  17. I think fans will appreciate going to Stevenage and Morecambe a lot more now.
  18. Good form makes a difference, with Kyle Wootton making his first appearance at home since signing I suspect the Kop will greet him with a roar.
  19. Will take a win, I just hope the game doesn't have extra time because the players will be tired as it is after 90 minutes.
  20. Big signing for us, now we have it out of the way. I would like to see Neal Ardley build a round Kyle Wootton and Regan Booty. Even Sam Osborne to a degree.
  21. I hate Christmas as a Notts fan, it's always grim. I would take a draw myself and I can see it ending up as a 2-2 draw. Wootton to score the opener, then Notts to fold straight after.
  22. Well said, and well written. Lets hope Neal Ardley can take criticism because it might be the one thing that will help him keep his job at the club.
  23. The ground staff will have done wonders if the game doesn't end up postponed. I can see it being a draw myself. The conditions will probably make the game very scrappy, so I am not expecting fireworks. A good performance will do me, even if Notts ends up drawing.
  24. Good attitude Matt, keep focused on impressing and your chance should come.
  25. I think the performance deserved victory, the chances Notts created was very good and they played well in the first half I feel. It's hard to push back a team keen to level the game, AFC Flyde came out more determined and brighter. Good game with some silly things, such as the referee and announcement asking for qualified officials.
