Notts County Ready to Represent with Pride in League Two
I am very optimistic about the upcoming season. I have booked my Sutton tickets and am ready for the League Two campaign. I feel the squad has grown over the pre-season, and I am not too bothered about the results. The performances are what they are, and generally, I think we have done well. These will improve during the season. The key thing is the way the lads play together, and there are promising signs throughout the squad.

Notts County strengthens defence with loan signing of Ollie Tipton from Wolves
This is great news to hear! I was anxiously waiting for us to strengthen our defence and signing Tipton feels like the perfect move. The fact that he's also adaptable enough to fill in as a defensive midfielder makes him an even better acquisition. With age on his side and having captained both the Under 18s and Under 21s sides, he comes with excellent leadership qualities that we can further help him cultivate. Excited to see how he will perform in this new environment.

non-league paper on boston vs notts
I tried to read the opening of the article, but I couldn’t make it out clearly. It’s a good photo by @Dan.

Andy Dallas to Barnsley
League One is a shot at redemption for Andrew Dallas. Did he play for Cambridge United in League Two? There’s a vast difference in quality between those two teams. He should do fine. Good luck to him.

New Chief Executive appointed
Joe Palmer will require a few weeks to understand the current state of the club and determine its future direction. Improvements within the staffing side are necessary. As for getting to know the fans, this will happen over time. While there will be many eager to meet him, it is best for him to focus on his role rather than quickly establishing himself among the supporters. It is positive that the club now has a CEO.

The Winning Formula: Luke Williams Talks Hard Work and Enjoyment
The strategy that Williams explained, which focuses on in-house strength and preparation, is certainly intriguing. It demonstrates a great deal of confidence in the team and their abilities. It will be exciting to see how this strategy is implemented in the upcoming matches and how it affects the team’s performance. Williams’ approach to building on the team’s existing strengths and ensuring they are well-prepared for their matches could prove to be a winning formula. Only time will tell, but it’s definitely something to keep an eye on.

Horror Films: from classic to modern
I haven’t watched a good horror film in years. I don’t like these ghost trends or creepy dolls. None of them are remotely creepy; they just try to make you jump with cheap thrills.

Gateshead friendly incident
I don’t know much about it, but I just think the world is full of people who constantly make poor decisions.

The cost of spending a penny
The number of public toilets that have been demolished and destroyed in the UK, with the remaining ones in busy areas being replaced by paid ones, is concerning. I would never use the free ones in the city centre; I prefer to visit the Vic Centre if I must. I think there’s room for some kind of toll, but 40p is pushing it.

The departure of Charlie from both Notts County and BBC Radio Nottingham is a significant loss. Charlie, your presence will be greatly missed and your absence will be deeply felt.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
A good game was played by two good teams. It was a vast improvement and I found the game to be very enjoyable. We had our chances early on, one of which we should have scored, but overall a good account was given. The atmosphere was much improved. However, can we cut out the anti-Forest songs in friendlies like this? It makes Notts look obsessed and generally as if we are jealous. It was only a pre-season friendly, not a cup game. Until we are equals in the league, such games like this are irrelevant to sing so much about them.

Scouting Dossier : Notts v Stoke
He could do a job, young enough to learn from a season on loan with us and as said before me he could fill in a bit of space at the back.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
Given that Forest is our closest rival, the club and players will be keen to avoid a heavy defeat. Whether we can stop them is another matter, as Forest has invested heavily in quality players. We need to retain possession and avoid giving the ball away as we did against Stoke. Hopefully, John Bostock and Matt Palmer will start together, as they complement each other well, with Bostock providing cover for Palmer.

Sochaux head for bankruptcy
This is concerning, and I hope the club can secure its future. It would be a shame to see them go the way of so many other clubs.

Notts v York City ( Subsequent Red card offence recorded against York City player) 3 match ban
Yes, that was a clear red card offence. If memory serves, their player tried to blend into the crowd of York City players to distract the officials. It was an obvious aggressive elbow. I remember Chicksen going down and asking the referee if he hadn’t seen it, which led to a brief discussion and ultimately a yellow card.
