  1. With such a wealth of experience and undoubtedly a wealth of footballing knowledge, it was such a shame to see such a figure leave Notts. I wish him the best of luck with Portsmouth and the promising young talent they have.
  2. Welcome @JackMagpie95 to PON, keep having your say on things.
  3. Hello, @nottsfan81. Welcome to PON. Keep jumping in with your opinion, we are eager to see what members think.
  4. Hello, @BigTom91. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. Please don't be a stranger.
  5. As @KingWilliams mentioned, the playoffs can be a risky gamble. Hoping Notts secures a place in the top three.
  6. Luke Williams seems to have a clear idea of his team's playing style and how he wants to maintain it while introducing some changes. This reflects his adaptability and understanding of the game dynamics.
  7. This early bird season ticket strategy was a clever move from the administration's side. A lot might not be able to avail of cheaper prices, but it definitely stirred the pot and built a lot of excitement around the upcoming season.
  8. No doubt Matty Palmer is one of the best midfielders Notts County has had in years. A true linchpin.
  9. Williams' handling of the pre-season preparations makes me even more excited for the upcoming season. It seems like he’s putting a solid thought process behind every action. I’m looking forward to seeing how the team plays under his leadership.
  10. Celebrities are divisive like many subjects, but their personal lives shouldn’t always be of interest to us, and the fact that people believe it to be is the issue. Those people reading gossip magazines and buying every written word—it’s crazy, but some do good. Some aren’t just in it for the fame. Yet I have zero interest in their lives, but the majority of people seem to care.
  11. I thought Andy Dallas would move to Chesterfield; he has settled in well there, and I am surprised that they haven’t already put in an offer for him. They have been spending money, wanting to get out of the National League, and Chesterfield would be a better fit than Gillingham.
  12. It’s great to see so many new and old faces getting involved just before the season starts. There’s a lot of potential, and I have enjoyed reading the site. The discussions and content are spot on. I hope more old faces return.
  13. Like everyone else, I use Chrome as it’s just there, and they know people will use it because it does the job so well. There’s no reason to switch when you know the user experience is good.
  14. Hello, @NottsCountyKev. Welcome to PON. You have made the right choice coming here to discuss Notts, the discussions are good here,
  15. I would view the move as a lifeline. In my eyes, he’s not a striker. However, I do wish him well.
  16. Hello, it's great to see you joining in and getting involved. Welcome to PON, @NottsLoyal.
  17. Hello, welcome to PON @rhodship66. It would be great to see you join in.
  18. The club feels like it should do. It’s always on the front of moving forward and trying to compete for promotion. We have had 4 very good years. Let’s hope our return to the EFL will see a 5th year added.
  19. There’s a lot to take from the statement released. It sounds like he wanted to leave and they tried their best to discourage it. It may be another potential falling out over wages and budget. He may be going elsewhere. Good luck to him.
  20. His move to Scotland didn’t work out. He suffered two injuries if I am right in thinking that. Suffering those setbacks will put other clubs off from taking a chance on him. Scunthorpe United may feel they’re the right team to help him back to playing.
  21. Good interview. Some of the comments weren’t all that different from the one Notts did when he first joined. The spin on him not caring about money has been caught on, but it shows the quality of PON when it was written here first.
  22. I think it’s a shambles and very disrespectful, but I understand the club’s decision to cancel it now that the team isn’t the same.
  23. No, I don’t. I do eye up an electric chair that I like the look of, but I know others will sit in it when I am not around and if it’s mine, nobody will. So, I don’t buy it.
  24. I will look into editing my profile and seeing what I can add to it.
  25. It’s just good to see who we have, when we should have them and what games we can start planning for. The rest doesn’t matter. I think the fixtures are unimportant to us to a degree that most will still make difficult games regardless of when they are.
