  1. Hello, @McSwegansRightPeg. Welcome to PON. I am glad to see you have joined us. Gary McSwegan was one hell of a player!

  3. Hello, @two for joy. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. I hope you have fun and join in with the content here.
  4. This news is fantastic! The announcement has left me feeling extremely hopeful about the other players! However, my excitement doesn't end here. I'm eagerly awaiting any news about other players as well. I hope Notts County continues to surprise its fans with more good news in the future. So, hats off to Notts County for this brilliant update. It's definitely a boost for the fans, and we can't wait for the upcoming season!
  5. This is brilliant news! I am absolutely delighted with the announcement. Now, I'm eagerly waiting for any news about the other players. Come on, Notts County, keep the good news coming!
  6. Good letter. People should support their local teams where it matters. It helps them do their good work. Bigger clubs often neglect that side of football and don’t have to work nearly as hard as others do.
  7. Well done to Carlisle. I thought Stockport would win, but that wasn’t the case. I hope Carlisle manages to stay up in League One.
  8. Welcome back to PON, @Nocturnal-Magpie. You’ll fit right in.
  9. This past Friday, I made my way to Scotland and spent some time there until early today. While travelling, I had the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Edinburgh, which offers numerous tourist attractions. Some of the most popular sites include Edinburgh Castle, a historic fortress with sweeping views of the city, the Royal Mile, which is the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland. Additionally, one can also visit the National Museum of Scotland and the Scottish National Gallery, both featuring captivating exhibitions. As my Scottish adventure comes to an end, I will be making a leisurely drive back down to my hometown of Bromley, reminiscing on the fantastic experiences I have had while exploring the picturesque city of Edinburgh.
  10. Frankly, I say this with the utmost respect, but I remain indifferent to both teams' outcomes. Neither Sheffield Wednesday nor Barnsley share any personal connection with me. Sheffield Wednesday may be the more prominent club, however, Barnsley have undoubtedly achieved notable success at higher levels in the past. Ultimately, it is up to the football gods to determine the future for these clubs, and we can only watch the events unfold with interest.
  11. It's all well and good declaring ambitions to reach the Football League, but at the end of the day, actions on the pitch speak louder than words. The Football League is an ever-evolving landscape, and the journey to the top tier has taken us, along with numerous other clubs, a significant amount of time. While such declarations might grab the headlines, we must remain grounded and focused on the realistic goals at hand. Wishing them the very best of luck, though, as they strive to fulfil their dreams.
  12. Well done to Luton for their impressive accomplishment. It's truly wonderful to witness a team of their calibre secure a spot in the Premier League once again. Their return to the top tier of UK football not only demonstrates their ability and determination but also adds excitement and variety to the league for the fans. This achievement will surely be a catalyst for Luton's continued development and success on and off the pitch in the years to come.
  13. The league appears predominantly one-sided, but occasionally, the underdogs manage to excel. It can be argued that around three teams merit greater success in comparison to Bayern.
  14. If Notts are to achieve promotion to the Championship, it will undoubtedly result from perseverance and determination. There is a substantial amount that the club must address, but for the time being, such worries should be set aside. It is crucial that we exercise patience and anticipate our time to shine, as everyone should be duly cautioned.
  15. @liampie That's Hereford United, mate. I hope they don’t suffer too much. Relegation is already difficult enough and it will take time for them to recover when their resources are drained.
  16. Welcome to the PON website, @Ohh Tommy Johnson. It’s great to have you here.
  17. Fantastic design, @Chris. It’s wonderful to see you sharing your work!
  18. I highly doubt that Macaulay Langstaff will join any of those teams. Football League World is known for spamming Facebook groups in an attempt to get views and they’re not a reliable source. I noticed they published another piece that’s barely readable due to all the adverts.
  19. I'm happy for you and your family, Adam and Kayleigh, you’re a real inspiration. Macaulay is a top-notch name and a great way to honour your favourite striker. I hope he brings you lots of joy and happiness.
  20. I don’t think Ruben is desperate to leave Notts. I think he will listen to offers and go from there. Hopefully, his heart makes the decision, not his head or the talk of money. He could really leave behind a legacy or end up a forgotten player if he chooses poorly. As for Derby, there don’t seem to be any credible sources linking him.
  21. Pre-season is starting to take shape. The Stoke City game should be a good test for the club. Hopefully, whoever the second home team is, it’s a team at least in League One. Just not Derby again, sorry @super_ram.
  22. I seldom watch Team Talk, but I must admit I have to remind myself that it exists and is on Notts TV. If I didn’t, I could easily forget more often. Thankfully, their site has a nice list of shows that you can catch up on.
  23. I enjoyed the interview with Luke Williams. It was always going to focus on the promotion and there are only so many ways to ask questions about it.
  24. One of the better things about being in the National League is the Non-League paper. From now on, we’ll have to rely on national papers and the Nottingham Post for coverage.
  25. It’s a shame he didn’t feature more towards the end of his time at the club.
