I’m afraid it was the correct decision, but it should have been taken sooner. The quality of their pitch never seemed adequate enough to pass a pitch inspection. I’ve seen numerous photos, all of which gave me the impression that the decision could have been made earlier. Regrettably, it was still not early enough to prevent Notts fans from travelling to Bradford, but it wouldn’t have been so close to the kick-off time before it was made.

The resilience displayed by the boys was nothing short of remarkable. Maynard's approach to focusing on our strengths and not dwelling too much on the set-backs, especially after the penalty, shows his maturity as a coach. Also, huge shoutout to the fans who were there, your support never goes unnoticed!

I feel the match is likely to end in a draw, but I’m hopeful we can return to scoring and put on a very upbeat performance. I agree that facing Gillingham now has its advantages, they’re having a tough time and that gives us an opportunity to improve from the last time we played them.

Notts improved in the second half, but it wasn’t quite enough to secure a win. We needed a greater contribution from the entire team, not just Jodi Jones. The man of the match decision was fair. Aidan Baldwin had an excellent game, but Jones was more consistent in his role. It’s unfortunate we couldn’t score a second goal, but a draw is a decent result.

It’s rare for Notts to have success with relatives of former players, both in management and on the pitch. It’s similar to the relatives of more famous players - it’s one of those odd things.

Every club needs a manager who believes in the cause and with Stuart Maynard, I think we've hit the jackpot. His approach to the game is progressive, and his past shows he'll give everything for success. We've needed someone who can energise the squad and inject some dynamism into our play. Feeling very optimistic about our prospects.

This is a wake-up call for the football authorities. They need to do more to support clubs like Nuneaton and make sure they're not left behind. It's not right that a club with such history and passion should be allowed to fold.

I can't believe this happened! It's not like stealing artifacts from a museum is something new, but the fact that a former footballer was involved makes it even more interesting. I wonder what made him do this.

Anybody could have been appointed and some fans wouldn’t be happy or say they weren’t. That’s just football and Notts County in general. I think the board made the best decision for the club. There weren’t many options that stood out from the unemployed list and we needed someone who understands where Notts are now. I’m not worried about Stuart Maynard never managing at this level, as I agree it’s down to the squad to perform and he should be good at setting everything up to make that possible. I like how he says he aims to win, that’s the focus and ideally we can stop fearing teams and focus on being confident. Win or lose, we’re a very capable League Two team.

If the game goes ahead, I reckon the conditions might slow things down. I hope the officials don’t mess about and are good at controlling the game. I agree, Stockport did try to bully Notts at their ground but they did everything right on defence. The quality we showed in that game needs to be repeated tomorrow. No excuses, just go out and aim to create good chances.

I use the dashboard, but I also look at all activity and the forum. At the moment, I read more than I post. I reckon the Pride of Nottingham is first-rate with the articles they publish. The forum layout was alright before, but the changes now make more sense.

I wasn’t present at the match, but I saw the stream and I think Notts did well. It was a big step up from Harrogate, I’m hoping we can reach January without much let down. But if we perform like we did today, it won’t be for lack of trying or effort. Stockport is a hard team to play against, they will be in the automatics by the season’s end as they seem to have a very solid team now.

Notts' determination was striking! Just a bit more conversion rate in front of goal, and the game could've turned out differently. Onwards and Upwards, lads!

Macaulay Langstaff’s eagerness for the clash against Stockport is tangible and it’s infectious. His honesty in addressing the team’s position and their collective ambition to rise through the ranks is much appreciated. As fans, we’re not thrilled with being sixth, but we understand the challenges and we’re proud of the team’s resilience. Commendable how they’re managing the demanding schedule and turning the festive season sacrifices into an opportunity to focus on the upcoming matches.

Williams' transparency in addressing rumours linking him to Swansea City showcases his unwavering commitment towards Notts County. Amidst the speculations and possible distractions, he has maintained his focus on improving the club's performance and getting the team ready for the upcoming matches. As a long standing fan, I greatly admire his integrity and dedication to the club.

I absolutely adore it! Neil Warnock is a unique character, blending humour and seriousness. He gives off the vibe of a zany uncle, or should I say, grandfather now.

Luke Williams appears to be in a difficult place right now. I hope he can find a way out of the darkness and inspire a better performance from the team. I fully support him and believe he will turn things around. However, we may have to accept that for now, Notts may lose more than they win.

Agreed with Williams, the recent result might have been disappointing, but the overall position in the league is still very prudent considering they're a promoted club. Williams is right in pointing out the need for consistent performance during games rather than occasional brilliance; it's all about sustaining the momentum throughout!

Yes, we've conceded quite a few goals, but it's this uncensored acknowledgement of the facts that can pave the way to improvement. Let's hope the talk translates into action, starting from the Walsall game this weekend.

The commitment to protect and develop young talent is something to admire about Williams. He's not just focused on the now, but he's also investing in the club's long-term future. By entrustment into the likes of Sanderson and Stone, he's setting the grounds for a promising era for Notts.
