  1. I hope we can improve the number of shots we get on target. Luke Williams will know who is best to play, and I wouldn’t know who to suggest. I have seen some fans calling for Macaulay Langstaff to be dropped, but he’s not the problem. The issue is playing him into the game.
  2. Welcome to the PON website @MagpieRoy.
  3. Hello, welcome to PON @zaradek.
  4. Hello, welcome to PON @helcat.
  5. Morecambe seemed to be quite disorganized when they played Mansfield, they appeared to struggle as Mansfield went on the attack. I don't think they will be easy, and I also anticipate that they will try to use the home advantage against us. I am hoping for a favourable result, as moving up the league would boost the players' confidence. Maintaining an unbeaten run also provides assistance, so I would suggest avoiding defeat at all costs.
  6. It would be a positive outcome to secure the win away from home and improve our overall league position. I don't know what to expect from Morecambe, but I do think if Notts approaches the game in the right way, a good result will come.
  7. Is the single camera stream worth the price? If it's like the highlights of the goals the club put out, I found them to be not the best quality.
  8. Good luck to Brad McGregor, I hope the loan works out well.
  9. I thought England might have exited in their game against Colombia, they did enough to prevent that, but there were some dodgy moments. Australia is perhaps even luckier than England, they haven't been exactly great.
  10. This is the worst possible outcome. As soon as he fell, the pain on his face told the whole story. I don't believe he'll return any sooner than what has been reported. His recovery is going to take a considerable amount of time.
  11. The game was quite enjoyable. Those two goals by Grimsby did appear to pose a challenge, but I thought Notts responded effectively and put in the effort to equalize. The team worked diligently to secure the victory. Last season, Macaulay Langstaff's attempt before either team scored would likely have been successful, unlike this year where it seems luck hasn't been on our side so far.
  12. It was enjoyable to watch Jodi Jones. He is never afraid to be direct, which is precisely what we have been lacking in this area for years. I thought he played exceptionally well; his crosses are always tempting to be put in the back of the net. I am pleased that he is humble and laughs it off, although I do feel he deserves the goal.
  13. Brilliant comeback win by Notts! The dedication, toughness, and fight for the shirt were evident on the field. The ground literally shook with the uproarious support from our incredible fans. A bit less drama and a little more composed play could absolutely make the team invincible. Fingers crossed for the rest of the season.
  14. Yes, I appreciate the apology and it does look sincere, but please put all the effort into making sure we put this defeat firmly behind us.
  15. It was a sickening and shocking display that left me feeling annoyed. I am very disappointed with the start and can only hope that we can improve. I believe it’s a wake-up call, so let’s see how things go.
  16. Welcome to PON, @JC1966.
  17. Hats off to all the lads for their determined efforts in training. It's not going to be a walk in the park in League Two, but as long as we've got this mentality and level of preparation, we're in for an exciting season!
  18. So our manager Luke Williams is not one for empty boasts, and I like that about him. He acknowledges the tough competition in League Two whilst preparing Notts County to match up. Here's hoping we come out swinging.
  19. Overall, it seems that Notts is well-prepared for the upcoming season, with a strong focus on fitness, tactical awareness, and teamwork. It will be exciting to see how they perform in League Two and how they continue to develop as a team.
  20. It’s an excellent team photo for sure.
  21. I looked it up, supposedly it’s when a player has a slight knock on a muscle caused by playing, training a lot or both.
  22. It’s good to have a young, hungry defender who can also play as a defensive midfielder. I can’t see John Bostock being out of the team very often, but there is every chance he could feature often in the centre-back position.
  23. I believe loans would be the best option, but it all depends on who is interested. I wouldn’t just ship them out. I think the club is more important to any potential move than the league they play in. Hopefully, the club can arrange two good moves for them with a recall option.
  24. Hello, it's good to see so many new members register to the site. I hope you all enjoy PON.
  25. Hello, @David Shipston. Welcome to the PON community.
