The game deserved a draw, as both teams put in a solid effort. It's a shame we couldn't secure that fourth goal to take it to penalties, where I fancied our chances of clinching the win. The Peterborough players appeared to assume they had already won, based on their premature celebrations after their first goal. I was heartened when the referee quickly intervened, urging them to move on. Notts showed great resilience and determination, making it an evenly matched contest right until the end. This determination and fight deserved more than the final score reflected.

Neil Warnock brought pride back to Meadow Lane during his tenure. Happy birthday to one of the best to ever manage Notts!

George Abbott impressed me the most with his confident play and relentless effort, despite the loss.

Looking at Leicester’s situation, it’s clear how important it is to find the right manager. I think they have made the wrong appointment in Ruud van Nistelrooy. I am more than happy to admit if I get this wrong, but if this was Notts I would be questioning the club's ambition and logic behind it. If Leicester succeeds, they deserve credit. But right now, it doesn't seem that it will turn out rosy for them. We’ve got a good thing going ourselves, and I believe we’re in safe hands, so I just wish them well.

The way Sam describes the FA Cup gives me goosebumps. His memories with Kidderminster remind us why this competition holds such charm. Facing higher league opposition like Peterborough won’t be easy, but Sam’s professionalism and the team’s preparation – from practising penalties to building confidence. is precisely what is required. Let’s hope we make it past the third round for the first time in years.

This match could be a defining moment for us this season. Winning against a League One side would boost confidence massively, not just for the players but the fans too. Peterborough have their strengths, particularly in attack, but I think we’ve got enough quality to trouble them. It’ll be important to stay disciplined defensively, we can’t afford another game like Shrewsbury Town in the League Cup. I’d also like to see us play with no fear. The FA Cup’s about daring to dream. With a strong travelling support behind the team, anything’s possible. Let’s hope for a memorable performance and maybe a goal or two to celebrate.

The youth team have done a fantastic job to get to this stage. Beating Kempston Rovers and Burton Albion wasn’t easy, so it shows how much grit and determination these lads have. Facing Fulham will be a huge test, but it’s also the kind of game that inspires young players to dream big. I think it’s brilliant that the coaches are focusing on improvement and giving the lads tools for future success, not just focusing on the result. I’ll be there on Sunday to cheer them on, and I hope they leave everything on the pitch!

Could it be that there is pressure from the FA, and the owners are having second thoughts about continuing their reign? Pure speculation, but I do agree with @Robbie, something is amiss here.

David McGoldrick shows that players can feature as part of a promotion-fighting team even at his age if managed well. Modern fitness techniques have allowed him to perform at a high level, and this season he has put in some incredible displays, which still demonstrates that he could have remained at Derby County. The Rams might wish they had a player like him for his quality, experience, and leadership, which are invaluable in a competitive league. McGoldrick's continued contribution on the field is a testament to his dedication and professionalism, qualities that every team would benefit from.

If we keep losing vital points, I would be inclined to say we won't make the automatics. Before the Crewe game, I must admit I really thought we had a chance. The injuries to the squad are a concern because that is the impact we are facing, as other teams are finding and maintaining form. It would help to make Meadow Lane the fortress the club has spoken about and achieve more home wins. As with away games, we should be able to get good results if Stuart Maynard can adapt his tactics slightly. Currently, I feel we might flirt with good positions in the playoffs but fall short of qualifying for them. If January sees us strengthen, who knows? If we can pick our form up despite the injuries and inconsistent performances, then we should be okay. I don't think promotion is a matter of life or death. I would rather go up knowing we have the quality to survive in League One, so that part is crucial. However, I think there's a lot of doubt right now. We always tend to find the winter months hard, and going into January is a patchy spell. If we can avoid this to some degree, I would fancy our chances a lot more for promotion.

I'm pleased for Jatta. It's a good start to his international career, whether he played 45 minutes or came on in the second half. It would have been a fairytale start if he had scored on his debut, but it is what it is. We can only encourage him and give our support.

The thing I love about Jatta is how he blends talent with humility. Scoring 10 goals in 13 matches is an incredible achievement, but the way he talks about the support from teammates and fans is what really shows his character. His description of feeling at home in Notts and the little moments, like taking the Gambian flag, demonstrate he’s invested in the club. I think his positive attitude and ambition to go beyond double digits are what we need to push us forward this season. Excited to see him play for The Gambia too!

There is a lot of criticism towards Stuart Maynard by his fan club, which I don't get. We have several injuries and the players gave their all in the game. We could have scored a second goal if things had worked out, and the opening goal was a thing of beauty. Jatta guided an excellent cross beyond the Doncaster keeper's reach. It was a brilliant goal. We should be taking the positives and encouraging the players. It was a good point on the road, and we are still undefeated away from home.
