Notts County’s Tobi Adebayo-Rowling Makes Triumphant Return to the Pitch
Tobi seems to be one of those people who live life to the fullest and are always happy. It’s infectious, and I must admit that I would have written him off if it weren’t for his performance against Forest. He fit well into the system, and if we can consistently get that level of performance from him while carefully managing his injury risk, I believe he will go on to do great things for Notts.

Luke Williams Shares His Insight into Notts County’s Pre-Season Friendly Against Nottingham Forest
I wouldn’t dwell on the minor mistake; the squad put in a good effort and gave a good account of themselves. I have no regrets about going; I think the young lads did well and will hopefully flourish with more experience. Fair play to Luke Williams for acknowledging that he distracted Kyle Cameron, but it is what it is. There’s no need to dwell on it.

Notts Alumni: Ian Richardson
Ian Richardson is a true gentleman. He devoted a lot of his time to the club and its fans. His leadership skills on the pitch were unparalleled. His relationship with the 1998 squad and Sam Allardyce played a significant role in Notts’ push for that record-breaking season. I cannot praise Ian enough for his efforts. As far as I know, everyone loved him, and that’s how it should be. It would be wonderful to see him back at the Lane one day. I remember his uncanny ability to be in the right place at the right time. His passion for our club seemed immense and personal.

Kyle Cameron on the upcoming season
It was a good interview by Kyle Cameron and David Jackson after a slow news week. It’s nice to read such a good interview.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
Whatever happens, I won’t be getting away. I would also like to see Notts give a good account of themselves. Last season the players did well, even with all of Forest’s signings Notts should be more than capable of giving them a game. They might win, but it would be negative to lose in the manner we did against Stoke City. This doesn’t mean I condone the abuse some players receive, but what it does mean is this friendly has higher stakes and the pride warrants the very best the players can give.

Scouting Dossier : Notts v Stoke
I see that he’s been out on loan at this level, which could fulfil the request of many fans for a CB. If he does well, great. If not, at least he wouldn’t be a permanent signing.

The Impact of Streaming on Film Nostalgia
I think the issue with online streaming is that everything is instant. When it comes to standard media, you don’t think so much about what you may want to watch as you are used to suggestions and prompts. I only watch the occasional film online; the rest is either on TV or in the form of a DVD.

Barnsley charged by EFL
This isn’t a good thing for the sport and requires swift punishment. Accepting money from outside the club’s structure sounds extremely suspicious and should come with a severe penalty.

Southend Utd survive High Court hearing
I wish Southend well. They got on my nerves when we played them, but I wish their fans all the best. It’s those that suffer, but I hope they cut out the annoying chants when they play other teams. It’s not effective. If they want to achieve something similar, they should aim for what Coventry City fans did. That was more vocal and to the point.

Notts v York City ( Subsequent Red card offence recorded against York City player) 3 match ban
Usually, these decisions don’t get reviewed when it happens to us. We tend to have to settle for what was given during the game, and that tends to be nothing. I am pleased the York City player has received further punishment for his violent conduct.

Pinchbeck United 3 Notts County Reserves 2
Good for them. I think it’s laughable due to the report, but I do understand that it’s a good result for Pinchbeck United.

Notts County Gears Up for the New Season with Strong Additions
allardyces tash commented on TheSkipper's blog entry in Black and White Memories: Nostalgia for Notts County Fans with TheSkipperWith this level of strategic additions, it's clear that Notts County are really investing in their success this season. The balance between experience and fresh talent is key, and it seems like the team has managed to strike that balance well. Particularly noteworthy is Dan Crowley's addition as an attacking midfielder. Given his experience with the Arsenal academy, he would likely be a star performer. If the team takes advantage of his skills, I think they could really pose a serious challenge for the League Two title. The key word in my thoughts is "could", we need the results to go our way and remain optimistic as a fan base.

Sochaux head for bankruptcy
It is a shame. I do hope they manage to fight off bankruptcy.

Where are they now : Marc Bola
This is a somewhat unusual move for Marc Bola. At the age of 25, he could have been playing in the Premier League, but instead, he has transferred to the Turkish league. I hope he performs well.

Where are they now? Shaun Derry
It’s great to see that his services are in demand. His return to Crystal Palace shows that he has something to offer the club beyond just his connection to the fans. I wish him all the best.

Trophy: Grab a photo!
If I can leave work early enough to drive to Meadow Lane, I might be tempted. So it’s in the club shop, then? I’ll bring some ice and a travel fan with me.

Twitter threatens legal action over Threads app
Is Elon Musk hoping the US court system will halt the progress of Threads, or just slow it down? My money’s on Mark Zuckerberg. Despite his flaws, he knows what he’s doing and will make Musk look desperate.

Jon Stead joins Barnsley coaching staff
Good luck to Jon Stead. I didn’t expect him to take on a coaching role, but I think Barnsley is a good fit for him.

A Plea for Support from an Elderly Notts Fan
There are always a few people in the stands who shout nonsense. You’d think the club would instruct stewards to give verbal warnings about such behaviour. It’s unwarranted, unnecessary, and unwelcome. If people complain about these individuals, perhaps action will be taken? I don’t mind negative comments - people have the right to free speech - but hate and abuse are uncalled for. I have no time for it, even online.

Neil Warnock
This sounds like something Neil Warnock would do, alright. A very interesting and amusing story.
