This is where I would be disappointed if Notts wasn't to win. Back to back draws, a clean sheet and something to build on a steady performance at the back. Notts has to claim three points on Saturday as I worry the gap will start to reduce and the club may find themselves on the up but struggling.

I have heard it wasn't a very good game but I suspect the truth is somewhere in the middle. Notts seem unable to attack properly if they defend but I would take a draw right now anyway, it could have been different if the penalty appeal was given but there's not much to dwell. I am more than happy with the point and I am sure Kewell will be building steady blocks to enable the club to move forward.

Solid responses and I would hope he retains the captaincy, he looks better starting right now.

There's signs that the team can build on from here, but cutting Fitzsimons slack only comes from people who realise the club won't sign a new keeper and this isn't a solution for a forward thinking club.

The outfield players did their jobs today, I think the performance was better and not far from being okay. We just have a massive issue with the keeper, he doesn't communicate and his attitude stinks at the moment. We can't sign more defenders, I felt these did well and was caught out by play that could of been prevented by the team. The first two goals we might as well played without a keeper.

I hope both can strengthen up the defence and offer more protection to the keeper, I would have liked to see a replacement for Fitz come in.

Whenever Notts claims the first win I feel it will be from a game we least expect or think it would be possible. Stevenage may not be this team but we have to try. There's a good chance we could but I just feel there is more time needed to fix the issues. 1-1 draw is my prediction.

I think Stevenage would be a good chance to get the first win. I would have been more confident under Nolan than I am with Kewell because I feel he needs more time to fully understand the squad but there key areas Notts could exploit if they focused on those areas. Across the field I feel we have more depth, its more about confidence.

The football at times has been good but confidence, fitness and work rates haven't been good enough. I am convinced that the teams good enough, they just need to realise and work on what is holding them all back. It's mostly individual errors on the pitch. I feel there's more to the issue but I don't think the club speaking about overspending helps, the players may be worried about that.
