The players could do with a lift, Lewis seems down and I think his response to the questions is very honest.

Sounds like he sees a lot of what us fans do, I just hope his talk can lead to results because I think dealing with the mistakes at the time will reduce the games the club loses.

I want to see Notts win but under Steve Chettle? That idea gives me nightmares. It will probably be a goalless draw and very boring at that.

It feels like the end of an era for Notts. I would hope if Notts continue struggle that Alan Hardy doesn't come under scrutiny for making this decision, despite me hoping that he had given Kevin Nolan more time. KN could have turned things around IMO.

The result was just poor but I still would have given Kevin Nolan more time. It sounded awful, with Notts parking the bus after Tootle and Duffy got injured. We have to hope that the management change does fix things and not on a temporary basis.

I would want to think Notts could put on a good performance but the recent performances and lack of confidence makes me feel that this won't be a wise move. Lincoln will be watching our two two away games and think they have won it before we kick a ball.

I'm disappointed, Notts have thrown away a good run of fixtures and we have given THE POINTS a way. Tonight was a joke, something needs to be done. Losing this way is not acceptable and I'm getting tired of this poor attitude.

If it's true that Kevin Nolan has spoken to each player, I would certainly expect a response from them. I'm just hoping they can get the first win but I do agree a draw seems likely.

And KN needs to get the defenders to act responsibly, they are paid good money to perform and its time that the awful start is corrected.

I think Newport might try to bully Notts and make the game physical, if things get messy I can see us being the team that suffers. Several of the Notts players react badly. At the moment I don't think I can call the score but I am nervous.

He impressed me until the defence turned to **ap. His confidence seems to deflate easier than Ross Fitzsimons concedes goals. Did anyone else see the noticeable difference? He stopped taking on players, he just seemed to drift into the corners and end up giving the ball a way.

Yeah the defence. The game was winnable that's the annoying thing for me but the awful defending cost the club from doing that.

I can relate @Chris, just try to think of something else Kevin Nolan will sort it.

I have a good feeling tonight, I think Notts will win 2-0. Hopefully they can put on a good display, get the crowd going and we can all enjoy Meadow Lane under the floodlights.
