Altrincham mgr's view, a good listen
A very fair interview, he was justifiably annoyed about the first goal, but he didn't rant and rave and kept a sense of perspective. You can understand why the brothers liked the cut of his jib.

Jason Turner RIP
This is a bolt from the blue and genuinely shocking and tragic news. My condolences to everyone who was close to him.

Match Discussion: Game 41 - The Robins (A)
Alty were always going to pose more of a challenge than on Saturday, and they did give us some nervous moments at the back. We rode our luck a couple of times but were comfortably in control in the second half and the win never looked in doubt. Great penalty save by Mair, funnily enough I always thought he was going to save it - it wasn't badly taken but it was the perfect height for the keeper to reach. Great stuff. Now we have a Saturday off ahead of Wealdstone. Then we cross our fingers that Oldham can maybe nick something from the Welsh team before our showdown at Easter.

Back ????????
Are Wrexham mainstream news there then? We don't have the Hollywood factor, but we've got a great team together and an excellent coach. There's an official National League stream now if you want to take in a match or two, I use it myself. Sometimes you even see the goals

Match Discussion: Game 40 - The Iron (H)
Great performance, wonderful football, comfortable win. It was one of the most one-sided games I've ever seen to be honest. Langstaff has written himself into club history and has equalled a club record that has stood for 90 years. Surely it's a matter of time until he becomes the first Notts County player ever to hit 40 in a season - quite a feat. And to think I was worried when Wootton and Roberts left I thought O'Brien had an excellent game pulling the strings in midfield too. Scunny were really, really poor and I can't see them staying up. I was expecting them to at least come with a game plan an try to cause us problems, but apart from trying to exploit our high line and beat the offside trap (which they didn't manage once) there was just nothing. They gave up in the second half. I feel sorry for their fans, that display was a slap in the face. Stockport also ended up in the NLN and are now in a better position than both of us, so hope springs eternal for them.

Adam Chicksen: from almost leaving to essential player - discussing his impact on Notts County's Success
He's been an absolute revelation this season. When he joined us, many Bolton fans I've were full of praise for him, but he quickly found himself out of the first-team picture (I've just looked at his stats - up to April in his first season, he started just four games for us) and seemed destined for the door. That he managed to fight back and make himself an indispensable part of the team is testimony to his own attitude and how we've moved forward as a club.

The Final Countdown
I think the manager is trying to get the players mentally prepared already, see his comments about the title race being over. We're certainly underdogs now, but we do have a path still. We MUST win at Wrexham away (easier said than done). If we can then stay within three points of them up to the last day - when it's do or die and the nerves are jangling, and one rash decision can ruin your season - you never know.

It's great to see you back and hear you're on the up again @AmericanPie. Have you seen much football this season? Our team are putting on quite the show

Match Discussion: Game 40 - The Iron (H)
I would be amazed if Langstaff's knock is enough to keep him out on Saturday. I suspect it has more to do with not risking him in yesterday's exhibition match than any actual injury he's picked up. Didn't realise Brooks was also away - in that case I hope Slocombe is back, you don't want to chop and change between keepers. But otherwise, we should still be able to field a strong side.

The Final Countdown
The way it's looking, the title race might end up being a bit of a damp squib after all. The comparison to the Munto season is an interesting one, but the big difference is that in Wrexham's case the money really is there. So if they fail one season, they can just go at it again, plus they can build for the future. As exciting as it was, I'm relieved our fans don't wave tenners at away fans any more. Personally I found singing "this city is ours" while watching League Two football a bit cringe as well. As much as I dislike Wrexham's bandwagon jumpers, we weren't an awful lot better.

Match Discussion: Game 39 - The Bees (A)
We are absolutely nailed on for second place @liampie. Woking and Chesterfield can get a maximum of 92 points if they win all their remaining games - we're on 91. Barring a freak it'll be a question of winning two more games at the end of the regular season - one at home, and (hopefully) one at Wembley. The second half was poor and we looked at least as likely to concede a goal as score one. A @menzinho says, a point away at the team in fifth would normally be a steady result, but we've had no margin for error at all. Now it's a question of winning as many as we can and making sure the team is in the right frame of mind for the play-offs. If things open up again at the very top of the table then great, but we need snookers now.

The Final Countdown
Both of us have tricky games this weekend, so there's a chance of dropped points and further twists. The thing is, the fewer games there are left, the more realistic it becomes that Wrexham can win their remaining games and shut the door on automatic promotion. If that happens, we shouldn't obsess about Dag & Red or any other game where we dropped points - we are on 90 points, which would already have been enough to win the division every season since 2017-18, and we still have eight games left to play. If we do miss out, it'll be because we had the misfortune to be up against another exceptional team. In that case, we'll have two extra games to get the job done. It's still far from over though!

jr morias signs for notts from dagenham & redbridge
Sounds like an interesting signing - decent scoring record in recent seasons, versatile and can compete with Scott to play up front. Could be an asset.

Match Discussion: Game 38 - Wanderers (H)
I feared the worst when Dorking scored first, but the team showed character once again. It's a bit of a worry that we only had four players on the bench - a keeper plus three midfielders. The team more or less picked itself, which is less than ideal if things go wrong. Hopefully we'll have some players returning on Tuesday. It's good that they welcomed him to the fold then. Could have been a sticky wicket otherwise.

Anderlecht welcomes Ian Burchnall
I'm not sure it's a step back from FGR, this is Belgium's biggest club. And maybe he's just better suited to being on the coaching team rather than being number one. He's clearly highly rated as a coach and a number of our players really improved under him. That said, he's clearly got a good agent!
