Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Ammies (A)
It's set to be yet another challenging match. Although we're aiming for a victory, securing a point for continued enhancements shouldn't be overlooked. I'm not particularly well-acquainted with the Salford squad, but I remain hopeful that our team's quality will help us navigate through any potential challenges. In terms of player selection, fielding our strongest team will be crucial. With Jodi Jones returning to the fold, Notts should be fully prepared to face the match ahead.

Match Discussion: Game 6 - The 'Owd Reds (H)
It's frustrating to see teams like Accrington Stanley come into matches solely focused on playing defensively and securing a point. While they may have delivered a tidy performance, it's clear that they lacked attacking intent and didn't trouble our team much aside from the set piece they scored from. It's disheartening to see missed chances and shots straight at our goalkeeper without no real test. On the other hand, I'm proud of our team for playing with spirit and quality. Refereeing decisions can have a significant impact on the outcome of matches, and it's disappointing when the performance of the referee falls short. Inconsistencies and poor decision-making can mark the overall quality of the game. However, Notts did well and It was a superb win.

Top of the league
It's really uplifting to see the team performing well and currently in a strong position. The fact that we are aiming to stay at that level shows our determination and ambition. It's always an exciting time when your team is doing great, and it's fantastic to see the club's progress. I believe this positive momentum is down to the hard work and dedication of the players, coaching staff, and everyone involved with the club. It's important for us as fans to support our team and continue to be optimistic about the future. For now, let's enjoy being top of League Two and hope it's not for the last time this season.

Oxford Mail article on Ruben
It's great to hear that Oxford is performing exceptionally well and managing to surprise a lot of people. I hope Ruben Rodrigues is settling in there and I also wish him continued success. It is reassuring to see that Notts doesn't seem to be missing him at the moment. It's always a positive sign when a team can adapt and thrive even after the departure of a key player. Let's hope both Oxford and Notts County continue to excel in their respective campaigns.

Match Discussion: Game 5 - Super White Army (H)
I hope it will be a good match between two teams eager to earn those crucial 3 points. I will be streaming the game with my iFollow season ticket. I may not be as close to the action as some of you, but I will be cheering Notts on. Notts have a good chance of moving up in the League Two table. I believe that prospect is enough to see the season start to flourish towards the hopes we all had of having another promotion season. The league is quite competitive, and I am sure Tranmere Rovers will want to spoil our party, but I have confidence that defensively we will be better than what I watched from the Grimsby game. It would be nice to see Macaulay Langstaff get his name on the score sheet. I can see the game finishing 3-1 in favour of Notts, but I am unsure who to predict as the scorers.

Morecambe 3 points deduction suspended
Morecambe needs to find a way to move forward and get the owner out of the club. It’s going to take a lot of negotiating, but hopefully, someone comes forward. You never know; the club may attract interest similar to Wrexham or Salford. Whatever saves them would be a good thing for football.

Southend immediate 10 pts deduction
Grim days for Southend; their lights might be getting turned off, and I don’t mean this insincerely. It would be horrible to see it happen.

Classic TV Red Dwarf tonight
I love Red Dwarf! I have never liked Star Wars, Star Trek or any of those types of things. They come across as too serious, whereas this is goofy at times but very well-timed with the jokes. My favourite character is The Cat. Make sense of that situation which is explained in one of the episodes! Very funny.

Transfer deadline day looms...Ins and outs?
I don’t know what to expect. I can see the point for and against bringing in a defensive midfielder. Personally, I look at the defence and feel like we need another Adam Baldwin. If that will happen, I can’t say, but it’s my only wish that I have due to believing it would make us more structured at the back.

Ricardo Moniz watch
Ricardo Moniz talks a lot of sense about what he is trying to do. It’s quite enjoyable to see a coach so calm when being interviewed.

Richard Brindley on Adapting to League Two and His New Role in the Back Three
I like Richard Brindley. When he first joined, he looked like a superb right-back, more for his attacking play, but it did seem like a position that suited him. In the games I have seen this season, I believe he has given his all, and it’s been a sort of revelation to see him play as the middle centre-back in a pairing of 3. He has shone, and that bit of freedom he gets in games may give him the confidence to further improve. His form in this area could help Notts defensively, as it does seem to suit him.

Notts County Aim to Build on Recent Good Form Against Tranmere Rovers
The Tranmere game is a good opportunity for Notts to get into a position in League Two, where performances and results will make the most impact. I will be watching the game from across the pond, hoping for 3 points.

An interesting story from Brazil... Red Bull Bragatino
It’s fascinating to read about the transformation of Clube Atletico Bragantino into Red Bull Bragantino. The club’s journey from its early history, through its ups and downs, to its resurgence and progress is truly remarkable. Red Bull’s involvement has undoubtedly played a significant role in the club’s recent success, with their financial backing and robust scouting system leading to strategic signings and the development of talent. Red Bull’s involvement in Brazilian football, it’s clear that for fans of Bragantino, the investment has brought about positive change. It will be interesting to see how the club continues to progress in the future, with participation in international competitions like the Copa Libertadores. This is a great example of how a partnership can transform a club’s fortunes and make them a significant presence in the football world. I personally have a distaste for the change in the club's name. I don't believe that Red Bull needs to undertake this alteration for every team under their ownership. The club's identity isn't just about branding; it's about a community, and the name holds historical significance for its supporters. It's reminiscent of when the owner of Cardiff altered their logo and jerseys to red. It's a situation that leaves you bewildered, questioning the reasoning behind such decisions.

Donny match commentary on Radio Nottm
I have enjoyed the coverage of the streamed games on iFollow. I think it’s refreshing to have two different people. Mark Stallard isn’t replaceable; his voice is something I’m used to now, but it’s nice to see the main commentator change from time to time. If Adam or Dave were given the role full-time, I would be happy, but between the two, we have the best of both worlds.

The bond between Notts players, club, and fans
Our fans sound like they’re of Premier League standard when teams are performing well. I couldn’t believe how loud they were during the Doncaster match, and to be fair, it’s been the same in every game. They’re very vocal, which is a great sign of respect and something that the club needs to continue to encourage.

Jodie Jones Grimsby goal stands
I am also pleased for Jodi Jones. He’s such a talented player, and it’s something that will hopefully give him a bit more of a boost.

Scouting dossier : Doncaster v Notts
The issue I have is when you are playing in a poor team like Doncaster. It’s easy to think that the players who are performing well would look good because they stand out more. Yet they could be completely dire when embedded in a squad like ours, where the quality and standard are high. I would be less inclined to look unless he scored a handful of goals.

Notts County’s Defence: Who Will Fill the Gap Left by Bajrami’s Injury?
It’s an interesting thought, what with John Bostock and Jim O’Brien. I wonder if Luke Williams plans to bring in Tobi Adebayo-Rowling to cover. Personally, I would say that the squad has cover, and if there are no worries about the centre-backs, then Ollie Tipton should be given time before we bring in someone else. Williams has said that he can play both positions, so we might not need to rush out. The transfer deadline closing may present a problem, but I would imagine an emergency loan may be an option.
