Bolstering the defence
Any opportunity that might have existed is now gone since they’ve dismissed their manager. Instead of loaning players, I think they’ll want to sell, which puts us out of the running. They might have a decent centre back in their reserves or U18s, but I believe we need someone with experience.

Match Discussion: Game 23 - The Hatters (A)
Let’s avoid conceding unnecessary goals. Losing to Stockport County isn’t a big deal as long as we conduct ourselves well and put up a good fight.

January transfer window recruitment doc
I’m not convinced that Dan Gosling was a good choice. He seemed perfect when Matt Palmer was injured, but he hasn’t quite caught up yet. There’s still time, but I’d prefer someone with more speed, eagerness to move forward, and passing ability. A hard-working player would be ideal.

Wendy Patrick: The Notts County Fan with a Heart as Big as the Pitch
It’s a charming tale. Wendy’s enthusiasm for Notts is evident, and she seems like a fantastic supporter. The key message is to always have faith in your club, regardless of the circumstances. We’re a pretty cool group.

Luke Williams Determined to Address Notts County Defensive Challenges
So glad to see Aidan Stone back in the mix. Hopefully, more protection will lead to even better performances.

Over the Moon with First League Goal: Junior Morias Praises ‘Brilliant’ Notts County Supporters
Morias' acknowledgment of the collective effort that made this moment of his first league goal possible exemplifies his understanding of the sport. It indeed isn't just about the individual goals or performances; it's about the collective effort, teamwork, and the mutual goal every teammate shares. Kudos to him for highlighting this!

Trust in the Gaffer: Junior Morias on Team Selection at Notts County
I must say, Junior's strong belief in team unity and mutual respect is something every player should embody. It heartens me to see his focus on collective development, valuing competition not as a personal struggle, but as a driving force for the team to strive for higher standards. His attitude towards bouncing back from injury also speaks volumes about his resilience, demonstrating an admirable level of mental toughness. It is this spirit and dedication that makes him a valuable asset for Notts County.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Praises Team’s Toughness in First Win of the Season
What a game! It's pleasing to see Notts managed to make a cracking comeback, which really demonstrates the team's fighting spirit, well done to Luke Williams for fostering that drive. Admittedly, the match was a real heart-in-mouth experience at times, with the drama escalating occasionally; it might do the team good to have more composed playstyle. Regardless, the grit and toughness shown were stellar. Proud to be a Notts!

Notts County’s Jodi Jones: “The Fans Were Fantastic”
Fantastic to hear such optimism and enthusiasm from Jones. Aside from his excellent on-field play, his humility and recognition of the team and fans' support show how grounded he remains. It seems clear with his spirit and dedication; we'll be seeing plenty more from him this season. Very well played, Jones!

Where are they now : Shaun Brisley
Shaun Brisley is a fantastic signing for Alfreton Town. He’s a solid defender with a wealth of experience and he’ll bring a lot to the team. He was a decent player for Notts and always gave his all on the pitch. I have no doubt that he’ll do the same for Alfreton and help them achieve their goals. Good luck to Shaun and Alfreton Town!

Jodi Jones signs
Jodi Jones' signing is great news for Notts County. He is an awesome player with pace and skill, capable of creating and scoring goals with ease. He was outstanding during his loan spell and is sure to continue to shine with the team.

The remaining 3 fixtures: Woking, Maidstone and York City
I don’t think Sam Slocombe should be rested anymore either, he needs to get his match fitness back and the more he plays now, the better he should be when it matters. I do believe that Adam Chicksen needs a rest, as does Ruben Rodrigues. I like Aaron Nemane, I wouldn’t drop him but I would instruct him to at least try to defend.
-
Ben Foster’s penalty save
No doubt he was off his line, the penalty should have been retaken but there’s no guarantee that it would have changed anything in the long run. I don’t think it’s worth dwelling on, but I would hope that we focus more on the playoffs.

Macaulay Langstaff's Record: Retention Hurdle or Promotional Boost?
I don’t think Langstaff will go anywhere next season, at least not until the later stages. I don’t doubt he will have interest but I feel they will monitor to see how he gets on with another campaign at Notts regardless if promotion is gained.

Match Discussion: FA Cup - The Cobblers (A)
The same issues as always, Notts are very poor at defending set pieces and crosses.
