Walsall should be a good away day, even on a Tuesday night. I am hopeful that Notts can play well enough to show that we are well within the mix of teams fighting hard for promotion. I think David McGoldrick has been saved for this fixture, so I hope he's feeling fresh and can make a big difference. He and Jatta could cause them a lot of headaches.

Mixed feelings after that match. The lads gave it their all, but we’ve got to be smarter defensively. It’s not just about individual errors, it feels like a lack of organisation as a whole. Matty Platt’s header was class, and Abbott’s goal was the kind you’ll tell your grandkids about, but letting in four goals will never win you matches. Also, what was Wallin playing at on the pitch? It’s small things like that which disrupt momentum. I know we’re battling hard, but this pattern of throwing away leads is worrying. We’ve got to regroup quickly because performances like this won’t keep us safe in the long run. Still, there’s heart in the team, that gives me some hope for the league.

Abbott's performance was a class act against Peterborough's skilled players. He's adapted beautifully and shined through. His positioning, vision, and precise passes left the opposition struggling to keep up. Furthermore, his composure under pressure and ability to anticipate plays were nothing short of remarkable. It was a masterclass in footballing intelligence and skill.

I feel like this is the sort of match where someone unexpected could step up. We know the likes of McGoldrick and Jatta will be key, but it’s often in these cup ties where a lesser-seen player pops up with a big moment. Whether it’s a goal, a crucial tackle, or just sheer work rate, it could make all the difference. Peterborough United are strong, but their defence can be got at if we’re brave enough to take the game to them. That’s where the fans can help, too, keeping the energy levels high. I’ve got a feeling this one could go to the wire, and if it does, I fancy us to nick it.

The FA Cup is such an exciting competition, and I like how Stuart Maynard highlights its importance. He’s absolutely right about the thrill of reaching the third round and facing a big club. That said, Peterborough are no pushovers, and this will be a real test of our squad. It’s brilliant to hear about Jodi Jones making progress; we’ve definitely missed him. Dan Crowley’s situation sounds frustrating, but at least he’s on the mend. Practising penalties is a smart move, I wouldn’t be surprised if the game came down to that. Let’s hope the lads can give us something to cheer about.

McGoldrick has been a revelation this season. You’d expect a player his age to be winding down, but he’s been the opposite – leading from the front and delivering in crucial moments. His ability to link up play, create space, and score when it matters has turned potential draws into wins, keeping us competitive at the top of the table. It’s not just about the goals, his influence on the younger lads and his knack for reading the game are invaluable. If he keeps this level up, retirement seems like a distant prospect. The Magpies are lucky to have someone with his calibre and dedication.

Alan Judge will always be one of my favourite Notts players. His ability to glide past defenders and pick out killer passes was a joy to watch. I still remember his free kick against Stevenage, what a beauty that was! He was a player who could get the crowd on their feet, and it’s no surprise that Brentford saw his potential. Injuries really took their toll on him, but even after his setbacks, he showed incredible determination to keep going. Players like Judgey don’t come along too often, and I’m grateful for the time we had him. It’s nice to see discussions like this, keeping his contributions to the club alive. He’ll always be a legend in my eyes.

Love the idea of newsletters to revive engagement! It’s a great way to keep the community connected, especially during quieter periods on the site. What sort of content are you thinking of including? Maybe we could all chip in with ideas to make it even better! Either way, I’m really looking forward to seeing how this develops.

The conversation about the loyalty points system caught my attention. I think it’s a great concept, but the club should consider adjusting the points allocation to reflect the effort of travelling to distant away games. It’s also good to see that they’re monitoring the fairness of the system for future tweaks. A fairer approach could encourage even more support on the road.

Seeing Jatta speak so openly about his time at Notts makes me proud as a fan. He’s not just a goal-scorer; he’s a true team player. The way he describes the help he gets from Jevani Brown, Sam Austin, and others shows he understands the game goes beyond individual achievements. His ambition to score more is great, but what resonates most is his connection to the club and the fans. Picking up that Gambian flag was such a touching moment and showed his gratitude. I’m wishing him luck with the national team and looking forward to him returning to Meadow Lane.

I think we should be proud of that performance. Going up against a team like Doncaster and grabbing a point is no small feat. The way Jatta scored, capitalising on a cross from Bedeau, was well-executed and showed we can create chances. The fans were phenomenal, giving their all and supporting every play. It’s these matches that test character, and we proved we have plenty.

Good to hear Jevani enjoying the Notts style of play! His mention of the possession style made me realise just how much control we’ve got. I think it’s the kind of play that suits him perfectly. Hopefully, as he says, it’s just about getting that consistency now. I’ve got my fingers crossed for him, he’s got potential at this level to be important, and with time he can deliver.
