Match Discussion: Playoff semi-final - The Bees (H)
I for one do not want to see Notts going all guns blazing. Take it slow, grow in confidence and get a real feel for what Barnet has about them. If we go for their throats early on, its only going to lead to the shaky defence that we tend to see.

The Forest chairman has it. ????

Match Discussion: Game 38 - The Bluebirds (A)
Its good to pick up a win like this on the road, it comes as a surprise but we do have a good side. It just takes a bit to get it out, think the sending off changed everything but still feel the points would have been ours.

Coronavirus
There's a lot of scaremongering going on, with these things there always is. Just take care and be mindful of bugs.

Match Discussion: Game 24 - The Coasters (A)
Terrible performance no way around it, lucky to leave with 3 points but a win is a win. Only a handful of players did really well. Jim O'Brien should have started in my eyes, they looked wasteful and poor. A good Notts should have walked over them, I'm not sure why after Notts went 1-0 the game took such a twist but the same level of application from the players was needed but it simply wasn't there.

Match Discussion: Game 36 - Monkey Hangers (A)
Very poor display from Notts, the squad looked clueless on the pitch and lack any sort of game plan. The new keeper and the CB had a nightmare of a game. It's hard to just blame them, the whole squad just played very poorly.

Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Cardinals (H)
Social media has been a major knee jerk for some, I can't help but think they need to get over the result. Notts drawn, neither side deserved to win.

Match Discussion: FA Trophy - The Glovers (A)
I wonder how many will bother to attend the game, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't mean a lot but winning is important. I just hope Neal Ardley doesn't experience any further injury setbacks.

Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Spireites (H)
I'm not expecting much from the game due to it being on TV, I think the attendance might also suffer with fans thinking they can turn off after Chesterfield score in the 22nd minute of the game. Notts could do with getting the win but we shall see.

Match Discussion: Game 32 - Daggers (A)
Only reason they are getting chances is because nobody seems to be marking, direct play and they could have a lot more time. Notts need to be wary.

Match Discussion: Game 32 - Daggers (A)
Prediction? 3-1 Dennis, Doyle and Enzio to win the game. Despite the scoreline I don't expect it to be easy, I think by half time it could be 1-1. If Notts up the anti in the second half, I can see goals coming to rescue all three points.

Alexlevy0908: Best and worst Notts County away days this season
Nice insight to this season @Alexlevy0908, I think the standard of football has been better than I had anticipated. The quality in grounds has been a different question. Nice write up.

Match Discussion: Game 30 - The Ravens (H)
December was a vital month, it's been a difficult campaign but things are improving. Notts did what was needed yesterday, it is an important win but I would voice caution because we seem like one of those teams that can just become poor again. Hopefully, yesterday was a sign of more to come.

Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Magpies (A)
The forms better than it was prior to the winning streak the club had, some of those games I didn't expect to win and a draw yesterday just seems to balance that up.

Match Discussion: Game 27 - The Magpies (H)
The game will only be as difficult as Notts makes it, if we match them and ensure more effort is put in. The rewards will come.
-
Match Discussion: FA Trophy - The Spireites (A)
The game wasn't as bad as some suggest, it was dull and poor in places but both teams created chances. Jake Kean did very well when he came on, Alex Lacey looked good too. Sam Osborne did excellent taking on Chesterfield.

Match Discussion: Game 23 - The Wood (H)
If Notts plays with the right approach, we should do well. These sloppy goals do need to be addressed, its one of the biggest causes of dropping points. I hope Ardley sends out a team which is wanting to win and will work hard to try to see it out.

Match Discussion: Game 22 - The Shots (A)
Notts haven't been at the races in the past two games, it's a poor result but the players just need to focus more. Both goals were gifted, otherwise it would have been a draw.

Match Discussion: Game 21 - The Bluebirds (H)
Awful game, poor defending cost us the game and I don't just blame the back four.
-
Match Discussion: Game 21 - The Bluebirds (H)
I think the pitch, conditions and weather will play a lot in this one. It wouldn't surprise me if it ended up 1-1 or a 2-2 draw.

How does it feel losing the World's Oldest Football League club tag?
What a well written, constructive piece which does provoke thought. I don't like the fact the title has been lost, it's something if used well can be marketed and that only helps the club who holds it which is sadly our neighbours. The key is gaining a prompt return to the Football League.

Match Discussion: Game 15 - The Whites (A)
Avoiding changes has given the players better chances to settle and perform better, I don't think Notts performed too badly against AFC Flyde in the second half. Away from home I think things have been harder, so I see Dover as a tough outfit.
-
Match Discussion: Game 14 - The Coasters (H)
If the performance is there, all the fans who attend should go home happy. I am hoping they do, as high crowds are normally a potential banner skin for the club.
-
Match Discussion: Game 12 - The Ravens (A)
A win could change the course of the season and give the fans something really to get behind, momentum is building nicely but I wouldn't be disheartened by a set back. I just hope to see a strong performance.

Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Glovers (A)
I'm expecting a setback, I hope I am wrong but I think confidence is easier to manage at home. I suppose we'll have to see how the games goes.
