  1. Hello, @Andystarscream. Welcome to the site. PON is a very good community.
  2. Terrible challenge. There was always the chance that he wouldn’t get the ball. The Gateshead player had plenty of chances to get rid of the ball. He was under little pressure and made the pass well before Kelly Evans flew in.
  3. The scam calls are terrible and very annoying! I wish more would be done to stop them.
  4. The referee allowed the teams to start without asking one of them to turn their shirt inside out? Bizarre.
  5. I think the lads will be hurting enough without us adding to it. If some fans moan about it, it puts a cloud over future games and is just uncalled for negativity. I don’t get why some fans are like that. To go 2-0 up is a credit to the team, and to pull it back to 3-3 after going down shows fight from the team. It’s not ideal or perfect, but it’s not worth spoiling the positive opening day we had against a difficult Tranmere.
  6. He had a real talent for football, that’s for sure. A brilliant player, adored by fans everywhere, not just those of the teams he played for. He’s a legend at West Brom, and rightly so for all he helped them achieve. I remember him playing for Notts very well. He was one of my favourites.
  7. What's a ride it's been with Rawlinson! Played his heart out and gave us some unforgettable moments. Cheers Connell, you'll be missed on the pitch. All the best in your future endeavours!
  8. What’s next, a video of them back at the training ground? That would certainly kick-start the excitement for the new season!
  9. In my view, it’s commendable that Notts are prioritising depth and quality. All the signings have been first-rate, and I reckon a few more additions would round off the squad nicely. However, I have a hunch that we might not see those players who are listed for transfer leave. Negotiating salaries is a simpler task when one is without a club. If you’re eager to sign a player but can’t match their current wages, making a move becomes a tad more challenging.
  10. Every successful team has a touch of experience in their ranks, and with the departure of Jim O’Brien, it seems crucial to recruit someone who has previously achieved promotion and brings that experience. Welcome to San Sirrel, also known as Meadow Lane, Rod McDonald.
  11. Remembering all the birthdays gone by and feeling grateful for this one, @Fan of Big Tone. Have a splendid day!
  12. It’s good to have a keeper like Alex Bass who has a lot to offer. I do feel for Aiden Stone, though; he didn’t seize his opportunity. With Sam Slocombe’s injury issues, Tiernan Brooks could be the right backup. Brooks might still get game time this season, and having experienced players is always beneficial.
  13. I'm curious to know more about the ex-West Ham / Brentford footballer. What was his motivation for committing this crime? Was he struggling financially?
  14. Gavin Strachan.
  15. I feel the same way. I can’t see the sense in spending more than £200 on a mobile phone. I’d prefer to keep it around £150. However, my family usually buys my phones for me. I’ve only had two up to now. My first one was an Android, but it started to slow down. I’m currently using a Samsung, but I’m not sure of the model.
  16. Welcome @True Magpie! We’re thrilled to have you here. Let’s make great things happen together.
  17. Hello and welcome @Robbie! Your journey starts here. We’re excited to see where it takes us.
  18. It's heartening to see coaches like Williams who pay homage to previous managers. His disappointment at Steve Cooper's departure shows his humility and respect for his colleagues. It ultimately heightens our respect for him too.
  19. I’ll be celebrating Christmas in Northampton with my family. I don’t have many other plans, and I don’t really celebrate the New Year unless I’m invited by family. I hope everyone here is doing well. Have a lovely Christmas holiday, everyone!
  20. It should be a goal for fans to collaborate. I believe it could work if people volunteered to help. This might contribute to creating a more vibrant atmosphere.
  21. Dan Crowley has been exceptional, making a significant impact in midfield. His league game performances have been far more impressive than what we saw in pre-season, proving to be nothing short of outstanding. I’m hopeful we’ll see further improvement from him, as I believe he has more to offer in terms of his potential.
  22. All we can wish for is a victory. If Notts perform to their potential, it should result in an exciting match. I hope Walsall put up a good fight, as one-sided football might please some, but I enjoy a competitive game where both teams are equally strong.
  23. Hello, welcome to the site. You should find PoN to be a good place to join in @TT1970.

  25. After going through this preview, it’s clear that the excitement is building up. The article highlights the strong bond between Dan Crowley and Jodi Jones, two players whose teamwork and talent could be crucial in this match. I’m eager to see how Langstaff tackles Walsall’s defence. With so much at stake, it’s all about who can handle the tension and still play their usual game. Everyone has to give their all to win this.
