Where are they now? - Joss Labadie
I always felt like there was a good player in Joss Labadie; it just needed a good manager to get it out and for him to control his frustration better. It wasn’t just the biting incident, but the constant needless fouls he gave away. I wish him all the best at Solihull Moors; I do hope he enjoys some more success in his career.

Where are they now? - Callum McGregor
Callum McGregor has done superbly; I am glad he has enjoyed success at Celtic and that he managed to avoid being sold. I think he is a player that has put his own mark on the club, and watching him play with his smile brings back memories of him here.

Youth Scholars sign deals
I am glad to see so many young scholars sign deals; it looks like we are investing in youngsters’ futures, and I will be watching out to give my support to the B team.

New Chief Executive appointed
I like the mix of experience that he has, the club is crying out for stability within the departments. The issue with the ticket office is new staff; the club also appointed a new ticket office manager who will be getting used to life at the club. It is frustrating when they don’t answer the phone, but the CEO will have various more important things to focus on at first. Welcome to Meadow Lane, Joe Palmer.

Charlie Slater moves on
It’s a shame to see Charlie Slater leave so soon. I think the BBC made a mistake by allowing him to skip his radio duties in favour of his TV appearances. Personally, I always felt it should be one or the other, but it’s sad to see him leave his commentary role. There’s no reason why he couldn’t do both on non-match days. I hope whoever comes in maintains their presence when doing commentary throughout the season.

Notts County’s Tobi Adebayo-Rowling Makes Triumphant Return to the Pitch
Absolutely brilliant performance from Tobi Adebayo-Rowling. You can see how much he's been missed in the team. His enthusiasm on the field, combined with his technical prowess, creates such a palpable energy in the game. It's not just about the goals, but how he contributes to the overall dynamism and spirit of the team. Welcome back, Tobi!

Notts Alumni: Ian Richardson
Ian’s contribution beyond the pitch to Notts County’s Football in the Community programme showcased his commitment to the sport and his community. What I find commendable is not just his footballing skills but his ability to use his position to make a social impact. His charity run is definitely a testament to that.

A Plea for Support from an Elderly Notts Fan
Yes, I believe so too. I think these fans need to be called out, as they are on social media. Criticism is fine, but abuse is a totally different thing. To see the young lads heading to the tunnel with shouts aimed towards their play while the game is still taking place just seems so wrong to me.

A Plea for Support from an Elderly Notts Fan
I felt disappointed yesterday with all the moans and groans. I have watched Notts for many years and have seen all the bad times: the foundation of Lifeline, which gave the club much-needed support, many relegations, and all the hassle from the last two ownerships. I don’t know why some people feel the need to be vocally disconcerting and get on the players’ backs over a pre-season friendly. It would be nice to have just one season where these fans kept quiet. There is no need for it. Why direct disrespectful comments to some of the younger squad members? They may have made mistakes, but they will learn. Will these fans be there the next time something happens where a bit of support is required?

Adam Summerton on League 2
Trajectories in football can be highly unpredictable, with underdogs often putting up a good fight. Reading all your estimations has been fascinating. I agree that a little consideration should be given to teams that have invested in their squads, such as Gillingham.

Where are they now? Michael Doyle
Certainly, his great contributions to Notts County will be missed. Yet, let's not discount the exciting potential that this new chapter with Portsmouth could hold for Doyle. Personally, I'm excited to see how his journey unfolds, especially in his new mentoring role.

Has Notts forgotten about Junior Morias?
Junior Morias may not be at the top of the pecking order, but with such a long season ahead, it'll be crucial to have him ready and waiting for his opportunity. Don't forget the FA Cup and EFL Cup games – that's where he may be able to make his mark.

It's incredibly touching to witness Jodi Jones' reaction, trying to play it cool but clearly moved by Maddison's act of kindness.

Nice gesture by Stoke FC
I can't help but be moved by the kindness and consideration Stoke City has evinced through their commendable philanthropic gesture. It serves as a gentle reminder that football is a social glue, binding us all together, regardless of which team we support.
