Tiernan Brooks joins Rochdale on loan
This is precisely the kind of loan we should be seeking for all our young players. Sending them to play for teams like Ilkestone Town might offer some match day experience, but the quality isn’t top-notch. We’ve often seen them dispatched to teams like Boston United, who merely use them to bolster their squad. I hope Brooks excels at Rochdale because it would bode well for us.

Notts County’s Future Under New Head Coach Stuart Maynard
I’m happy with Stuart Maynard’s appointment. He appears to be a promising manager and I believe the board has made a great choice in bringing him on board. I hope he settles in quickly, but I’m certain he’s the right person for the job at this time.

PON Forum Shake Up
The forum revamp is shaping up well, it’s a pleasant rearrangement for the site. It does make things more straightforward too.

Rumarn Burrell, Cove Rangers
I assumed Cove Rangers was an English non-league team, but upon looking them up, I didn’t realise they were a Scottish League One club. He will likely be picked up by a Scottish Championship team or a League Two/One side.

Matt Palmer on the comeback trail.
There’s no need to hasten Matt Palmer’s return, despite how much we miss his skills, as it could result in further complications. We ideally need him to be as fit as possible. To prevent additional injuries, I’d be more content knowing he’s aiming to return for the next pre-season. It gives us time to adapt to the injury, but at least he’s making progress.

Sven Goran-Eriksson, Cancer Diagnosis.
This is disheartening news. Sven did Notts a massive favour when he attempted to find a buyer and forgave the money he was owed by the fraudulent Munto. I hope he surpasses the expectations.

Jim O'Brien's first interview as Interim Head Coach of Notts.
It was a decent interview, though I believe Jim O’Brien might struggle to maintain the role if it extends beyond a single match. We appear to be taking our time with the appointment, which could be beneficial. It’s also reassuring to know he has the backing of two other coaches. However, he does seem a bit anxious to me.

Mapping reality?
How would Nottingham’s map appear if it was divided based on Notts, Forest and Mansfield? I reckon we’d see a lot of plastic. Probably more than what’s reported in the ocean.

Ken's and Karen's.... ????
We’re unaware of the mental condition of some of these individuals, they might simply require assistance. I don’t believe filming people merely because they’re impolite, noisy or otherwise irritating is beneficial or productive. This doesn’t excuse their behaviour, but I think those who attempt to claim moral superiority are equally at fault for seeking attention.

Match Discussion: Game 23 - The Hatters (A)
Jayden Richardson didn’t take the penalty, he merely fell over and then alleged he had been fouled. I understand your point though. Regarding the budget, I’ve tried to investigate this and all the data seems very inconsistent. I don’t think Notts has the poorest budget and I’m interested in how expenditure affects the money we have for players’ wages. So, it might not be exactly like comparing two identical apples, but I suspect our budget might not be as robust as others. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/league-two/startseite/wettbewerb/GB4

Match Discussion: Game 23 - The Hatters (A)
Judging by today’s performance, it’s clear that there’s potential for further improvement. Stockport County has proven themselves to be a formidable team in this league. I don’t particularly enjoy bringing budgets into the conversation as they don’t provide a fair basis for comparison. It’s the performance that truly counts. Being the home team would have certainly given them a leg up. So, it’s encouraging to see signs of progress despite this advantage.

Late Drama Unfolds as Notts County Falls Short Against Stockport County
If we take today’s performance as an indicator, I believe we can keep getting better. Stockport County is a strong team in this league. I’m not fond of discussing budgets as it’s not a fair comparison. Performance is what truly matters. Being the home team would have given them an advantage, so I’m happy to see signs of improvement.

Why would the Football League admit to this?
The only explanation could be that they view the statistic as a point of pride. Perhaps they believe it indicates progress, or, more delusional, they might think the officials are of a higher standard than they actually are. I’m not sure, as stats can be interpreted in various ways.

Luke Williams on Notts County’s Journey So Far: ‘We Cannot Stand Still’
We need to recognise our current situation and put an end to the drama. If the players can address what’s hindering us, a positive outcome is all we need. I doubt this will happen against a strong Stockport County, but I’m weary of the constant negativity as if we’re facing relegation.

Lewis Macari on Adapting to Notts County’s Playing Style: A New Way of Playing
We needed a faster player in defence. Hopefully, with his addition and further development, we will see more from him. Lewis Macari is an exceptional talent, and I’m delighted that he has joined us permanently.

Match Discussion: Game 23 - The Hatters (A)
I’m scared of losing, and so would most people given how well Stockport County are performing. It would be fantastic to achieve something, and I agree it could boost our confidence. I don’t think we need to fret if we lose, but hopefully, we’ll see signs of progress and determination.

It’s the weekend!! Whatcha got planned?
I stayed at home over the weekend, I didn’t visit Harrogate. I switched off the radio after they were 2-0 up. I didn’t have the drive to bear any more than that, which is unlike me. On Sunday, I caught up with my college work and just relaxed. I had a quick go on my Playstation.
