Post match interview - Shrewsbury
The post-match interview is very good and detailed. I am not sure what Luke Williams means by fatigued injuries, but it’s good to know players like Junior Morias are back, considering his lengthy absence.

Wrexham flew their team to 16 NL games last season!
It’s insane the number of flights they took. I know there are some fixtures where it might be better to do this, but I do agree that the club should reduce it. Having a quick flight cuts down on the bonding you get from travelling closely on a coach. I don’t expect them to get the train, not at all.

Notts County Ready to Represent with Pride in League Two
The squad looks ready and good enough to face off against League Two teams. We have had a mix of pre-season friendlies which has shown in depth where we need to improve. The squad is good enough to do that, we have depth if we have players who aren’t quite putting in their best performances, but over the course of the season, it will all come together.

Mixed Feelings for Notts County Manager Luke Williams After Pre-Season Friendly
Pre-season friendlies can be like this, I am not too worried. It’s all about experimenting and mistakes will happen. I agree that these are things that improve during the season. It’s just important that Luke Williams sees it, as he can coach it out and improve the performance with his clear instructions. We have a strong midfield, so once the squad settles, I am sure the defence will do well, with whoever starts up top having the ability to net goals.

The cost of spending a penny
This discussion is unreal. ???? Toilets shouldn’t charge any more than 10p in my opinion, if anything at all.

Recruitment doc
I am surprised not to see a few of the signings we have made within the list, but keeping a recruitment document sounds like a fun activity.

Chicksen thoughts on efl2
I hope Adam Chicksen is right. We need to see the defence tighten up a bit more, but I am confident that the club has goals in them. We just need to balance it a bit more, but the article is a good read. Very detailed; David Jackson has done well with them.

Weekend Plans Friday 28th - Sunday 30th
I haven’t done much at all. I spent most of the day just tidying up and playing on my PlayStation. Tomorrow, I might get out for a walk. If I can, then it should be good, but knowing my luck, it will rain all day. It was supposed to rain today, but it was actually quite nice out, yet I still made no plans.

Wolves wonderkid joins Liverpool
It’s a good deal for the young player. He has a good chance if he has the right attitude and makes the most of the facilities that Liverpool has to offer. I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all.

Match Discussion: PSF - Salop (A)
It sounds like it’s just an excuse not to play him. How would Macaulay Langstaff have an issue with fatigue? If it’s an injury, it’s exactly that, but combining the two is just funny. It sounded like Notts could have upped their game at times but didn’t.

Prediction league interest thread
I am up for the Prediction League. It’s something I need to commit to and make sure that I do it for every round.

Notts County strengthens defence with loan signing of Ollie Tipton from Wolves
It’s good to see that we have signed a centre-back, especially one who can play in other positions. There has been a lot of talk about him being good. I just think it’s a shame that Nathan Claxton hasn’t been given a chance since his Forest appearance. I think the two would complete our transfers ahead of League Two.

Notts County’s David McGoldrick on Hard Work, Fitness, and the Upcoming Season
Luke Williams has received high praise, particularly noteworthy given the calibre of people David McGoldrick has worked with over the years. McGoldrick is a sensible and level-headed individual who speaks eloquently. These are exciting times! With Notts County back in the EFL and the ever-enthusiastic McGoldrick leading from the front, a good season lies ahead. His focus on hard work, fitness, and learning embodies the true spirit of football.

Super Ram’s Journey: A Lifelong Fan of Derby County FC and his Affection for Notts County
Thank you for sharing this article about @super_ram on the Pride of Nottingham site. It’s fascinating to read about his lifelong love for Derby and how it was nurtured by his family. It’s heart warming to hear about his early memories of listening to football results with his father and learning about Derby’s history from his uncle Stan. Also interesting to read about his experiences watching Derby play live, including his first away game in October 1957. It’s great to see how he continued to follow Derby County throughout his life, even when he started working in Nottingham and had a manager who was a Notts fan. It’s nice to see how they were able to share their love for football and talk about their respective teams.

the72 are back at the rumour mill again
I don’t read their content; all they do is spam the socials of Notts County, and when you know they lie, it’s hard to give them much time of day.

McGoldrick screamer at Alfreton
Brilliant strike! David McGoldrick couldn’t have struck that any sweeter even if he tried. The moment it left his boot, you could see it was destined for the back of the net.

Which Youth Scholar Has the Most Potential?
All of the youngsters in the pre-season from the B and academy team have shown some real promise, while I would agree that Cisse looks like a classy player in the making. I felt very impressed when I saw Charlie Gill; he looked like a good youngster for sure.

First Openly Transgender Player at a FIFA World Cup
It is a very difficult subject; my personal opinion is that I don’t see a problem with it right now. In time, it could lead to issues; it might seem unfair to compare it to National League teams recruiting players from outside their nationality pool, but I can most certainly see some looking to bring in players who would be misleading under the transgender umbrella. I think it’s something that needs to be reviewed later on; right now, it doesn’t seem anything but a concern.

Luther Munakandafa and Lucien Mahovo: To Loan or Not to Loan?
Personally, I think it’s important to try to loan them out to a National League North team, ideally. I don’t think either would attract much playing interest from the National League, no disrespect intended, but they both need to gain more experience. I think loaning them out, with a recall option, would be the way to get them more game time.

David McGoldrick Scores in Notts County Pre-Season Win Over Alfreton Town
I am pleased for David McGoldrick; it will be a natural lift to his goal, even if he doesn’t worry about scoring. He will be thinking about getting another, and it should lift his own morale. I liked the celebration from him, along with Jim O’Brien bowing and kissing David’s boot. The strike was superb, placed perfectly in the top right corner. A keeper would have to be special to even get a hand onto something like that. I also really appreciate McGoldrick’s laid-back attitude; he’s enjoyable to listen to.

Reading : The rise and fall
It’s disheartening to see so many English teams struggling. Good luck to Reading.

RIP Trevor Francis
Rest in peace, Trevor Francis.

Andy Dallas to Barnsley
I believe Andy Dallas will do well. It’s not the Championship, and League One will provide a good opportunity for him to demonstrate what he has learned from playing in the National League. Good luck to him!
