Key Dates in Notts County’s 2023-24 Season
I wish we had started the season at home, but I don’t dwell on the fixtures. I think the players will look at what we have been handed and feel happy to get the new season underway. There are no real negative points, just a few difficult journeys on certain dates, but hopefully we will get through them without a problem. Picking up points is the game; tough or difficult starts on paper aren’t something to worry too much about.

Belated promotion celebrations “not feasible”
They caved in because of complaints and pushed the plans further back. The club should have declined the moment they said it would be reconsidered. This just shows poor decision-making on both sides because the hope of doing something lifted the spirits of the fans who weren’t able to get down to the homecoming. So, Notts are faultless, but the way Nottingham Council has handled themselves is very poor.

Notts County’s Next Signings: What Position Should They Be?
I don’t want Notts to have a large squad either, just for the sake of it. 24/25 is around the right amount. Any further requirements can be fulfilled with youth players to cover. Maybe one more centre back?

Notts County’s Time Capsule: What Would You Include?
Where is it and what was put inside? Do you know? I don’t remember hearing anything about a time capsule. Was this done many years ago?

Darren Moore and Gary O'neil - Sacked.
I'm absolutely baffled by the decision to sack Darren Moore. He led Sheffield Wednesday to promotion and now they decide to let him go? It just doesn't make any sense to me. If anything, they should be giving him additional support and resources to build on that success. It's a real shame to see such a talented manager treated this way.

Dan Crowley: The Journey of an Individual Player - ‘I’m My Own Player'
Dan Crowley’s recent time at Morecambe demonstrated his capabilities as a player. He had a fantastic debut for them. Given Notts’ current upward trajectory, I have high expectations for him at the club. I believe he will continue to develop and thrive as a player.

The Highs and Lows of Notts County’s National League Years: Overcoming Adversity
The team’s journey has shown real character in finding our way back to the Football League. It’s a real sign of the power of perseverance and determination.

Notts County signs former Arsenal academy graduate Dan Crowley on 2-year-deal
I agree that this is a great signing and that he should fit in perfectly within our team. It’s good to see that we are signing players who have a lot to give and who would be wanted by other clubs similar to us. He does seem to be a good signing for a side that wants to chase promotion.

Whose birthday is it today?
Happy Birthday, @Fan of Big Tone. I hope you have a great day too.

Dan Crowley signs
Dan Crowley is indeed an exciting signing. I hope we can get the best out of his abilities and that it doesn’t take long for him to get up to speed with us. We play a different game to Morecambe, but his days at Arsenal should help. He seems to be a good baller and I can’t wait to see him within the team.

League 2 - Favourite away ground?
I’ve been to a fair amount of away games, but I’ve never directly spoken to any other clubs fans. I don’t eat at grounds; I either eat before or after. Pubs aren’t my scene. The easiest game for me is any that doesn’t take three or more hours to get there.

Maddison pays tribute to Jodi Jones
I didn’t know that James Maddison and Jodi Jones were best mates, but it explains the comment. I had forgotten that they were both at Coventry. Jodi could easily be playing in the Premier League if it weren’t for his injuries.

Cal Roberts joins Scunthorpe United
- Kairo Mitchell joins Rochdale
Kairo Mitchell could have worked out, but he didn’t. I don’t see what Rochdale sees in him, but as a free agent they might be inclined to gamble.- England and International Matches
I watch every game I can. I like watching England and seeing how the team gets on. I wish they would find it more routine to play well against the bigger teams. If they applied themselves, I think we could win the Euros when it’s time.- Jim O’Brien reflects on his journey with Notts County
Jim O’Brien is a great addition to the squad. Having him around the younger players and the rest of the squad with his sense of humour and care helps bring in positive thinking.- New member Rhodship66
Hello, welcome to PON. @rhodship66- Make friends and find new content, Follow, follow, follow ????
I am new to Twitter, but you can follow me at @20JOSHUSA04. I have already followed about 9 people from PON. ????????- Reading vs Posting: How do you manage your time on PON?
I read like 5-8 posts per visit. Sometimes I go back and re-read what others have posted since. I have been trying to keep an eye on if any of the members need help and commenting on a few more posts. I read the articles and have been interacting with them. I wouldn’t say I’m stuck in a routine as I change all the time.- Why Jim O’Brien’s Extended Stay at Notts County is Great News
It’s been said around PON by others, but Jim is a captain without the armband. He’s such a vital part of what makes this squad tick. I also agree with Allardyce’s tash. Some fans of football now will discard a loyal player just because they want someone new or exciting in the team. I can only think of one game where Jim wasn’t his usual self, so I think it’s extremely harsh. I would go as far as saying he would make my Notts XI of the last 10 years. He’s influential and such a good person. His ability is there and I agree with the thoughts expressed in the feature.- The German Luton Town
I haven’t noticed any mention of this and I watch a lot of football YouTube channels; I am really surprised. The video is very good; I’ve given his channel a sub. It’s great to know that some clubs in the European leagues are throwing cash to gain promotion.- The Super Ram Appreciation Discussion
Super has always been very kind and supportive; I joined here very young and through our interactions, I also look forward to seeing what he says. I felt the same about Granny but don’t want to bring too much of that up. I would like @super_ram to know I value his kindness and consider him to be a friend even though we haven’t met. Maybe one time at Notts? I hope so. Thanks for being Super, Super Ram!- Kyle Cameron signs contract
Yes, I can’t say how pleased I am. I felt confident that Kyle Cameron would sign. Those rumours never seemed genuine as they seemed to be aimed at rivals of Notts such as Wrexham or Stockport etc. All the out-of-contract players being linked to them just reaffirmed to me that I can’t believe what they write. Kyle is a very good player; so pleased he’s renewed his stay.- Reedtz Brothers Era "Feels like a good dream"
Would you agree with this? - Kairo Mitchell joins Rochdale
