  1. This is a massive signing for us. Jodi Jones is a class act and he showed it last season on loan. He was the difference maker for us and he scored some crucial goals. He’s got a lot of ability and confidence and he’s not afraid to take on defenders. He’s the type of player that can win games on his own. I’m delighted he’s staying with us!
  2. My deepest sympathies to his family and all that knew him. Who r ya!! You Pies!! May they rest in peace.
  3. While some may have wished for Nottingham Forest to be relegated, credit must be given where it's due for their ability to survive in the Premier League. However, questions remain about how they managed to pay all those fees and still compete within the financial fair play rules. It's possible that they found a loophole or that attention was turned away from the issue.
  4. In my opinion, Nottingham is not handling the redevelopment of certain areas correctly. The council seems more concerned with trying to make the city appear larger than it is, rather than respecting its heritage and history. The picture actually makes me feel like our council doesn’t value the city’s past.
  5. It wouldn’t surprise me if it ended up being against Wrexham, Mansfield or Walsall.
  6. Chloe Page’s use of the term “us” may seem peculiar to some. The hiring of Luke Williams was not viewed negatively, and in fact, many people had positive opinions about it. It’s important to note that gauging fans’ opinions based solely on Twitter may not provide a complete picture. While “everyone was unsure” and “not many people had heard of Luke Williams”, it can be difficult to listen to individuals who attempt to speak on behalf of others, particularly when their statements may not be entirely accurate. It’s always important to consider multiple perspectives and sources of information. ????????
  7. Keeping key players and adding depth to the squad will be crucial for Notts’ success. This will give them the best chance of achieving their goals and finishing in a strong position. By retaining key players and adding depth to their squad, Notts can continue to deliver strong performances on the field and compete with the best.
  8. He’s not just a great player, but a great person as well.
  9. Today, I haven’t done anything noteworthy. The weather has been nice, but I’ve spent the whole day indoors. I’ll probably go out tomorrow while the city centre is open and have a look around.
  10. Welcome back, @KingWilliams and @NottsTastic. It’s great to see you both back and participating.
  11. I was sitting in the yellow Notts County fan zone. It was lively and everyone around me was in good spirits. The atmosphere was tense, but we celebrated each goal as if we had won. The Chesterfield fans did well - I thought they sang more than we did. Thankfully, we won. There were many fist bumps in the air and lots of jumping around. On my way home, I couldn’t stop singing Notts chants!
  12. Securing Jodi Jones on a permanent basis would provide a significant boost for Notts and I have a good feeling that he will sign.
  13. Jodi Jones is a valuable asset that Notts must retain. I sincerely hope he agrees to a permanent contract with the club.
  14. All the coaching staff deserve credit, with Luke Williams at the forefront. I think people forget about the assistant head coach and the coaching team that works with the players leading up to kick-off. It has vastly improved under the Reedtz brothers. When was the last time we had a full team? Other than that, I think Aden Baldwin, Matt Palmer, and Cedwyn Scott are all unsung heroes.
  15. I don’t want to sound offensive, but my grandfather watches the show and enjoys it. I would rather watch paint dry and I know my parents feel the same way. Everyone has their own tolerance. I just find it boring. It could do with a lively host who’s fun and energetic.
  16. It’s a good video that gives us fans a great insight into the day. I also agree with the earlier comment in this discussion that it’s a shame that half of this wouldn’t have seen the light of day if we had lost. It makes me appreciate all the effort that goes into the club.
  17. Hi and welcome @CountyFan2105! We’re happy you decided to join The Pride of Nottingham.
  18. I’m going to miss Frank Vincent, but I have no doubt that he’ll do well wherever he goes. I believe Ed Francis will find success with another club where he can bulk up a bit. I’m really hoping that Ruben Rodrigues, Kyle Cameron and Aaron Nemane sign new deals. In my opinion, they’re the players who Notts County would struggle to replace. Additionally, I would like to see Jim O’Brien stay for at least one more season. He’s a great leader even without the captaincy and his experience would be invaluable to the team.
  19. I never miss his vlogs and feel that he conveys the sentiments of the majority of fans. Although there have been challenging times when he seemed distant from Notts, I trust that the Wembley event made a difference and that we can progress as a club. It’s a shame he doesn’t post on here as much now.
  20. By planning ahead for League Two, the Reedtz brothers have demonstrated their commitment to achieving success. Their proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges gives me faith in their capability to put together a competitive team that can flourish in this division.
  21. I really hope that the commentary dash cam continues next season. It never gets old and I think Mark Stallard does a fantastic job.
  22. As for the interview with Luke Williams, I thought it was well done and a positive thing for the club. It’s a relief that Ruben Rodrigues didn’t make the news with his drunken videos. Thankfully, someone has deleted them all. It was becoming concerning to see how intoxicated he appeared in those videos.
  23. @Chris, today we celebrate the amazing person that you are. May your birthday be filled with joy and may the year ahead bring you happiness and success. Happy Birthday!
  24. The fact that season ticket sales have been very strong is a testament to the faith that fans have in the Reedtz brothers’ ownership and leadership.
  25. I believe Notts will be in a promotion spot next season. We have a very strong team and other clubs are releasing players left, right and centre as always. We have a steady squad that just needs strengthening and replacements for areas where some players may leave due to being out of contract. For me, I can see it being between us and Wrexham again.
