  1. Phil Parkinson needed to talk less on BT Sports, I almost fell asleep during his segment! Aaron Mclean is so boring and frustrating, ugh. But the lineup for Notts looks strong, I hope Ruben Rodrigues shows his masterclass and teaches those Welsh **** what real football is all about!
  2. This game has become a crucial fixture, and many supporters had anticipated its significance. However, I don't believe that we should fear Wrexham; rather, we need to be defensively sound. In my opinion, throwing everything at them would be unwise. We ought to attack when the opportunity arises, maintain possession when possible, and defend courageously whenever necessary. It's crucial to avoid making rash challenges and pulling shirts, and we must be wary of their tendency to dive, particularly Paul Mullin. Notts must protect Archie Mair, preventing Wrexham from having clear one-on-one chances and blocking everything that comes our way. If we provide him with adequate coverage, I am confident that he will thwart their attempts. Let's go on the attack, create opportunities, and secure those points.
  3. None of our players played badly, but I thought some of theirs were terrible. I know they're part-timers, but it looked a lot worse than that. From poor touches, awful clearances to iffy passing, with how Notts attacked, it was easy to control them. I thought Archie Mair did well with the chances they had. To see him mug off their players multiple times was funny to see.
  4. The players are learning to show a lot of composure in front of goal. I thought Maculay Langstaff's finish was very clinically taken. He showed a lot of class with his calm strike.
  5. I think Luke Williams has done incredibly well to take the pressure off and protect his players. I thought it was negative of him to say it was over, but in hindsight, I can see it's just him trying to shield the players from expectations or getting carried away.
  6. The players did incredibly well to keep their emotions and feelings in check. One thing we have to respect under Luke Williams' management is how composed the squad is. There might be spells where it's difficult, but usually, it's there, and it's one of the reasons we have done so well.
  7. Yeah, I agree mate. I reckon that all the players will be offered new deals, but it's hard to predict who will re-sign and who won't. It'll probably come down to whether we secure promotion or not, as some of the lads might want to move up a level if given the chance. However, I do have a feeling that Jim O'Brien might call it a day at the end of the season. He's been a top player for us, but he's getting on a bit now and I think he might want to focus on other things in life. It'll be a shame to see him go, but I'm sure we'll all wish him the best for the future.
  8. Mate, there's just no comparison between how Notts County plays and them. Yeah sure, they can perform well sometimes, but they're just your typical National League team. Like seriously, take a look at their results against Chesterfield and even Scunthorpe - can you honestly tell me that they played well? Nah mate, they got absolutely battered by both teams, and let's be real here, Scunthorpe are a very poor team. It's just a fact that Notts County are on a whole other level compared to them. They've got the talent, the tactics, and the overall ability to dominate on the pitch. I mean, have you seen the way they've been playing lately? It's just pure class. But hey, I guess everyone's entitled to their own opinion, right? Some people just can't see the obvious.
  9. Proper chuffed to hear the good news about Scott, mate. It's always a relief when a key player's injury isn't as bad as first thought. As for Morias, I'm still well keen to see him in a Notts shirt. It's a bit gutting that his injury in training is holding him back, though. I hope he gets fully fit soon and can start contributing to the team. Having both Scott and Morias back in action could be just the boost Notts needs to really push on from here. Fingers crossed they'll both be back on the pitch soon and smashing it!
  10. I used to proper enjoy the updates that Jason Turner gave. He had a way of keeping us fans in the loop about what was happening with the club. Even when the updates became few and far between, you knew it was because the club was making strides in the right direction. It proper sucks to hear that Jason's passed away. He was such an important member of the club and a beloved figure in the community. Rest in Peace, Jason. You'll be missed.
  11. Yeah, I totally agree, Notts messed up big time with that first goal. And don't even get me started on the second one - it was so obviously handball! But hey, I guess it all evened out in the end, you know, in the grand scheme of things.
  12. The penalty save was pretty impressive, it definitely changed the game's momentum. If Mair hadn't made the save, who knows what would've happened. He really stepped up when it mattered and proved his worth.
  13. Yeah, totally agree about the free kick being questionable, but at the end of the day, a win is a win! Mair was an absolute legend and deserves a ton of credit for keeping Notts in the game. Honestly, I have so much more faith in him now. It's not easy to win away from home and keep a clean sheet, so we should be proud of that accomplishment!
  14. As I was saying on the "It's Over" topic, if we win this match, it means that Wrexham will have two games in hand, which will add pressure. Regardless of what happens on the pitch, Notts must ensure that they score enough goals to secure the victory tomorrow.
  15. Notts got some proper good coverage, isn't it? Dan's the one taking snaps at the away games, yeah? We have got thank him for this and for Notts smashing it on the pitch.
  16. Yes, if we win tomorrow, it could make folk change their minds. But then again, we'll be two games ahead of them, and winning is dead important to keep that lead. Personally, I reckon it's gonna be tough, but until it's no longer possible on paper, I'll keep wishing for the best.
  17. It's nice to catch up on the highlights, but I'm not keen on John Thompson covering the games. His accent is difficult to understand, and he sounds unintelligent. I'm not too sure about the other person. Even Charlie Slater puts me off, as he comes across as arrogant and talks a lot of nonsense.
  18. Spending time on the internet and social media is common for many teenagers, including myself. It's a convenient and accessible way to stay connected with friends and family, especially during the pandemic. Social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter allow us to share moments from our daily lives and keep up with what's happening with others. Additionally, gaming has become a huge part of our culture and a popular way to socialise with others online. Personally, I find gaming to be a great way to de-stress and have fun with my friends. However, I also recognise the importance of taking breaks from the internet and spending time offline, engaging in other activities such as reading, exercising, or spending time outdoors. It's all about finding a balance that works for each individual.
  19. To be honest, some fans proper make me cringe. I only really hang out with my mates, I can't deal with people chatting smack about players and then cheering for them like nothing happened, it's just annoying. Maybe it's coz I sit higher up the kop, but I find it hard to vibe with other fans my age, especially the younger ones.
  20. The emails are a good way to remind fans, that's what caught my eye. It's proper cool to see other members coming back, this is the best spot to chat about Notts. Big up to American Pie for coming back, welcome back.
  21. I really enjoyed the game, we smashed Scunthorpe United but the way they played kinda ruined the victory for me. They were proper rubbish, like it almost spoiled the game. If it wasn't for some sick moves from Ruben, Langstaff, Austin, O'Brien, and Palmer, I reckon it would've been dead boring. I know it might sound controversial, but I don't like games where it's totally one-sided, and that's exactly what this was. I'm stoked that we won though, especially with Langstaff getting a couple of goals. The team was sick, but it's just a shame that Scunthorpe didn't put up more of a fight.
  22. He's a good player and I think he could be a great addition to the team. This guy is the total package! He's got his act together and knows what he wants in life. Plus, he's got the right attitude. He's confident but not cocky, ambitious but not pushy.
  23. If Wrexham win it, they'll definitely deserve it. They've been on fire since we last played them!
  24. Chicksen has been a revelation for Notts County this season and has been one of the best left-backs in the league.
  25. This is the perfect stage for Notts County, Luke Williams is right.
