  1. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, it's good to have you here @NorthPie.
  2. Good luck to young Alfie Bradshaw moving from Bradford City to Nottingham Forest. A big step. Hoping he impresses in the Forest Academy.
  3. Doncaster fell short in the face of a superior Notts side led by Langstaff and Jones. Despite a late goal from Doncaster, County's verve and spirit remained unscathed. This is a win that the team and fans alike can be immensely proud of.
  4. Notts must commence securing victories in matches of this nature if we are to advance further in this season. My expectations are somewhat flexible, yet simultaneously, I possess an ambitious outlook and believe that we are unquestionably on par with the majority of the superior teams in League Two. I am confident that Doncaster Rovers will endeavour to create challenges, but overcoming these obstacles falls upon us and Luke Williams.
  5. When thinking about the upcoming match I feel Williams should keep an eye on consolidating our offense. Notts' performance has shown growth lately, but we also need to ensure scoring opportunities are being capitalised. Equally important is ensuring our defence isn't compromised. McGoldrick has shown great form recently, and teaming him up with Langstaff could be promising. Doncaster may be struggling recently, but underestimating them would be folly. Tricky game ahead, but one filled with opportunity.
  6. Kyle Cameron accomplished what some might not have; how many players offered apologies for our relegation? I don't remember anyone apart from Craig Mackail-Smith. It's challenging to hold resentment towards someone who demonstrates concern, effort, and has proven to be a valuable player for our team. We proceed forward and prepare for the next endeavor!
  7. Best wishes to Baj; it's quite a severe injury, and he will require the necessary time to recuperate. He's still relatively young in football terms, so one would trust that it won't adversely affect the duration of his career.
  8. Hello, @helcat. it's a good site and you will have fun on PON if you stick around.
  9. This is a good site @zaradek, welcome to it from me.
  10. This pulled at my heartstrings, this did! Meeting through Notts fandom, and now with an 11-year-old Derby supporting grandson crying at a winning goal. Beautiful!
  11. Garry Thompson. ????????
  12. Notts illustrated a fantastic comeback victory in this match. Full credit goes to the team. Loving the fighting spirit that was shown, particularly during the situation where we went behind twice in the game. It's evident that this bunch mentality of not giving up and playing with grit is something that Williams has instilled in them. However, one aspect that the team needs to work on is reducing the drama on-field. Williams correctly mentioned the habit of creating drama, which feels like a ticking time bomb. With more calm and composed play, the team can create opportunities and defend with better co-ordination. Let's hope Williams is quick to work on that.
  13. It's encouraging to hear Cameron's confidence and ambition for the upcoming season. The team seems geared up and ready for the League Two challenge. Looking forward to some top-class football!
  14. The UK is known for its rainy weather, but this year has been particularly bad. On the few days when it has been warm, it’s often been too hot to be comfortable. However, at least it’s been manageable, unlike the heatwave of 2022. It seems like 2023 is shaping up to be the year of rain and dullness.
  15. The offer for overseas fans is definitely a good one, but it seems like the club could do more to promote it. It’s important to make sure that fans are aware of the package and its benefits.
  16. It seems like a good signing and it’s likely that the player will continue to improve with Stockport County. On paper, they appear to have one of the strongest squads and could be a strong contender for promotion. However, only time will tell if things will work out as expected.
  17. The addition of Ollie Tipton on loan has definitely strengthened the defence. Along with McGoldrick’s more advanced role and increased support from the midfield, the team is showing a solid balance between attack and defence. If they keep improving like this, we’re in for an exciting season.
  18. Hello, welcome to the site and PON. It's good to have you here, @David Shipston.
  19. It's good to see many more new members like myself, welcome everyone!
  20. It was a screamer. The way the space opened up, you just wanted him to have a go at the goal. I look forward to shouting at David to have a crack from outside the box. If this is the end result we can expect, it will be enjoyable.
  21. Welcome, @George L. The Pride of Nottingham has impressed me, and I hope it does you too.
  22. Cal Roberts is cursed, the poor lad. He doesn’t get a break, does he? That’s not intended as a pun. I thought he would be a significant player for Scunthorpe United this season, but if it’s a fracture, he could be out for some time. It could end his career, depending on the severity. I hope it’s not that serious.
  23. This 5-0 win with McGoldrick's fantastic contribution just amplified my excitement for the upcoming season! The way he described his goal, it's such an inspiration for every young footballer out there. Looking forward to an eventful season with Notts.
  24. It’s saddening to see such an icon of football pass away at the age of 69. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Trevor Francis.
  25. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, great username @JustLikeJuve!
