  1. Thank you for all the welcome messages, it's a nice touch from you all.
  2. Yes, United needs new owners for things to change, but their fans have always been the fickle type that only cares about winning. I do think they have some awful owners, but not as bad as many other clubs. They are willing to invest, and someone might say they have to do this because they’ll lose money when or if they do sell, but Manchester United will always be sellable to a rich investor provided they are in the upper half of the Premier League.
  3. I am just keen to get back to Meadow Lane and see how we do against Stoke City. Winning doesn’t matter; I just want to see us have chances and defend as well as we can.
  4. Welcome to the community, I recently joined myself and I hope you enjoy it as much as me @rohan.
  5. Macaulay Langstaff had a good run out; I thought the Nuneaton keeper pulled off some great saves. Finding the net early into pre-season can build confidence. A striker thrives on having chances, and I do feel that, with the way Luke Williams has Notts playing, a good striker will score, but an exceptional player will net a few. It’s been a while since we’ve had a player so natural at finishing.
  6. In the first few games, Notts has a good chance of establishing themselves with the front runners of League Two. I think realistically, there may be several teams 10 games in that just need to find the right balance with their results in order to be a firm title or promotion contender. I would like for Notts to be in the running for either, yet provided we are clear from the drop, then we are fine.
  7. I think Meta will force Elon Musk’s hand when his site’s shares start to fall and people start demanding changes, but the things he has implemented don’t work or bring in the big bucks that he wants. I think he will end up losing more money due to decisions to turn the site into a paywall.
  8. I have a player of Stoke City that managed Notts County, unfortunately some of our fans felt inclined to sing chants about his personal problems. R.I.P Howard Kendall.
  9. It's reassuring to see Williams focus on continuation from last season's style of play. He understands the importance of sticking to what has worked, while exploring necessary changes during pre-season.
  10. Good comments and insight from the fans, excellently written. I am also looking forward to the new season!
  11. Nemane's impact has been palpable. He's played a key role in our successful season. Well done, lad!
  12. Luke Williams has a talent for seeing the bigger picture. His handling and communication skills are part of what makes him a successful manager. I think he’ll do well with us in League Two, as we have more depth now.
  13. I’d welcome a loan agreement for Tiernan Brooks, but I wouldn’t want to see him leave permanently just yet. We’ve had some promising keepers over the years, but he has real potential. He’s a talented young keeper.
  14. Dagenham & Redbridge have made a good signing in Frank Vincent. I hope he does well for them, it’s a shame Notts couldn’t get the most out of him.
  15. We mustn’t underestimate the importance of Aaron Nemane agreeing to new terms. He was a great asset last season and improved immensely. It’s a surprise, as I thought he might leave.
  16. The enigma that is Kairo Mitchell also played for them.
  17. I think the retro shirts in the club shop are quite poor and not as good as those of other clubs. The design of the retro shirts is also quite off. I understand that sponsors and other factors can be limiting, but the pattern and design can still be replicated. You can find better remakes on eBay.
  18. I’m a bit disappointed that the kits are always released quite late compared to other clubs. Signing a 5-year deal with Puma seems like a mistake if they can’t ensure the shirts arrive ahead of pre-season. It’s the same case every year, so why can’t Puma move things forward? The club understands that selling season tickets early benefits them, and it’s the same for the shirts. It’s hard not to be bothered by this because I can imagine they will sell out of what stock has been ordered and then there will be a repeat of the delay again. It’s frustrating and hard to see any positives from this.
  19. Reading Luke's view on pre-season games being a time for hard work, concentration, and shutting down space is reassuring. The strategy appears sound, and I hope it translates well on the pitch.
  20. It's interesting to hear that Crowley had interest from other clubs but chose Notts County because of their style of play. It's a testament to the club's reputation and ambition that players are willing to choose them over other options.
  21. Seems like Morias has kind of become the 'forgotten man' at the club. He's got talent, but the competition for spots is just too fierce. Let's hope he can have an impact when called upon.
  22. Stone's journey from playing in defence as a youngster to becoming a goalkeeper shows his versatility and adaptability. I'm confident that these qualities will serve him well at Notts County.
  23. David McGoldrick's homecoming is definitely something to look forward to this season. His passion and commitment to the club will surely inspire others in the team.
  24. Fantastic news on the sales front. It really shows the dedication of the fans standing behind the club, come rain or shine.
  25. Matty Palmer's intelligent movements and passing ability make him a vital cog in the team's midfield.
