Are Notts fully prepared for League One?
Nothing wrong in debating whether Notts are fully prepared for League 1. If Notts were promoted there would certainly need to be improvements in certain areas to allow Notts to compete at a higher level.

- #31 Notts County vs Doncaster Rovers PREVIEW | with Jordan Kelsall & Mark Stallard
Massive game with lots of different permutations to consider. It's going to be an exciting last day of the regular league 2 season.- Post Match Interview | Adam Dunleavy | Solihull Moors (H)
- HIGHLIGHTS | HARROGATE TOWN 1-3 NOTTS COUNTY
- Match Discussion: Game 46 - The Rovers (H)
This is it. The biggest game of the season. So many different permutations could be decided by this result, & also results elsewhere. It is going to be an exciting final day to the league season. I've said it before & I'll say it again. Stuart Maynard has done well to get this team to where they are right now. Whether we win, lose or draw, we will live to fight another day in the playoffs. If Notts can play like they did in the second half against Harrogate, they can get a win on Saturday. Jodi Jones has to be in the starting 11 for me on the right hand side. I'd put Will Jarvis on the left side. So my side if all are fit would be:- Bass, Bedeau, Platt, McDonald, Jones, Abbott, Palmer, Jarvis, Grant, Jatta, McGoldrick. Subs, Miller, Macari, Traoré, Whittaker, Edwards, Hinchy, Gordon- Weekly chat Monday 28th April to Sunday 4th May (edited from April!)
It's going to be a scorcher here. Blue Sky, plenty of warm Sun since 9 am this morning. It is already 19 C outside & they are forecasting at least 25 C+ later on today. We will be spending some time out in the garden today to soak up this Sunshine, covered up of course with plenty of factor 50. The only ones not enjoying this wonderful weather will be the energy companies.- “If you still hate Bristol Rovers clap your hands”
Hopefully, we won't be playing them if we get promoted. If we do have to play them next season I'm sure it will be two hard competitive games. We've also seen clubs coming down from League 1 & struggle such as Forest Green last season & Carlisle this term being relegated to the National League. Remember this one?- Are Notts fully prepared for League One?
Notts are in the playoffs & also have a chance of being automatically promoted to League one. Question is, are Notts fully prepared for League one & with it a higher financial commitment for the Club too? There is a noticeable difference between League One & League Two, though it's not as stark as the gap between League One & the Championship. League One is generally considered to have a higher quality of play, more established clubs, & potentially larger fanbases than League Two. Of the four clubs that were promoted last season from League 2, we've seen Crawley relegated back to League 2 after just one season in League 1. And Mansfield Town have struggled in League one after being promoted,& they are actually celebrating the fact that they avoided relegation. On the other hand, Wrexham have been promoted to the Championship & Stockport are in the playoffs. These two clubs have shown that with adequate investment, it is possible to be very competitive at a higher level after promotion.- League 2 Watch. 2024/25

- George Abbott
@menzinho I think football politics was behind Lowe winning it. Abbott being loaned out to Notts from a Premier League Club may have been a factor too, why he wasn't considered, although I hope it wasn't the case.- Jokes, Cartoons & Memes. It's the Laughter Corner.
