Stuart Maynard Anticipates Notts County Debut After Unforeseen Setback
Stuart Maynard demonstrated to all in his press conference that the Reedtz brothers have made an excellent choice in appointing him Head Coach. All of the members of this community are in one voice by saying such positive things about what they've seen from Stuart so far & what he has been saying. He has a calm confidence about him, as well as knowing exactly what he needs to do to make improvements to the team. That came over clearly in the interview. I believe that there will be small changes to our style and shape to improve our defence, and we will see more caution going forward. We may not see the throwing of caution to the wind, or the ping pong style that we saw under Luke. More emphasis will be in not conceding so easily, however, I do believe that we will remain potent up front, and a threat to anyone we play, but we may not score as many goals. So long as we win 1:0 or 2:1, I'm sure Stuart will take that. Looking forward to Saturday with relish.

Jaden Warner to Notts
I agree. I think the recruitment team have secured a gem here. I think he's destined for the Premier League at some point, of course that's not a certainty, but what I've seen of him he will do an excellent job for us at this level.

Bournemouth v Swansea..
Just wondering, has Luke picked a strong side or did he make changes?

Ok thanks Chris. It could have been a connection issue. Will monitor it.

League 2 Watch.
Listened to some of the commentary on Radio Nottingham. Seems they are having trouble in scoring up front, they are making chances but not taking them. They do have an injury list. It's their defence that is saving them at present.

Found the game which was televised by the BBC, Dean Yates made a bad mistake that led to the Spurs goal but Dean, Fairclough, Davis and Smalley played a blinder to keep a very strong Spurs side out for the rest of the game. Ian McParland scored our goal. Attendance was good too. Not shown on here but we had a chance to win this in the dying seconds.

Experienced freezing twice when I was Quoting a post this morning and this afternoon, had to come out of PON then go back in, I lost my script & had to retype, but it hasn't happened this evening when I quoted someone.

Good one.????????

What's the point of VAR?
I never want to see VAR implemented in the lower leagues unless it is goal line technology and ruling on yellow or red cards. For me VAR in it's present state is just not fit for purpose.

A Stuart Maynard Notts Team? A Tactical Analysis.
I agree. The team only needs to have small tweaks, and Stuart is already working on it in training, according to what he said in his pre Barrow presser.

Financial and other stresses at Edinburgh City FC
This is really disappointing to see. People may disagree with me, but the Scottish First Division and now Premier League with only two teams competing against each other is just so boring with The other teams just making the numbers up. The English top league has gone the same way with six clubs becoming dominant. What the Scottish league really needs is some well off investors to invest in Scottish clubs like Edinburgh City, Aberdeen, Hibernian & Dundee Utd and turn them into rivals for the big two. Edinburgh should have a good fan base to attract support. The reason that holds things back is possibly a problem with marketability in Scotland that is putting investors off. I still believe that there should be a Cap on rich club finance across the UK, to even things up. Scottish football is an example of a massive extreme disparity between the rich and the poor clubs, which dwarfs the English game, and there's a needs to be special measures to speed up equalisation.

Kian Breckin to Notts?
Not sure what Notts would see in recruiting another youngster. I would probably look to having someone with plenty of experience, who's been around a bit and done a reasonable, steady job at this level. We need someone with a cool head, who's willing to get stuck in, and put himself about. Someone with a bit of steel in midfield.

And I will always get behind and support Brexit UK. The best Country in the World by far. And as for the Tories, they deserve everything they are going to get at the election.

BREXIT.....
I don't agree with your opinion on this topic and the majority of the Country doesn't either. Like I said before everyone in this Country should be getting behind and supporting Brexit UK and stop the Remoaning. As for Labour they would be a disaster for the UK if elected. Just look at London, Bradford , Manchester, Birmingham, Wales and the bankrupt Labour Councils.

Can Notts County make the playoffs?
Auto correct is a pain, have edited to correct it. Thanks for pointing it out. And yes I agree, There is every chance we can make the playoffs.
