Elon Musk and Nigel Farage
I can't stand either of them, but Elon Musk loves the spotlight and causing controversy. Every week, it seems he's doing something that would land most people in the loony bin. Declaring wars on X, threatening to sue companies for not advertising on X. The list goes on, but he won't be happy until he has more control over his ideas and imposes them on others. Nigel Farage is good at what he does, but I don't trust him. His PR work is second to none, but his cringeworthy stance on leading politics into the ground and brainwashing people into thinking he's the right man to get the UK back on track is borderline scary. In this instance, Musk will have been baiting a response from Farage. I question the sanity of both, as neither really seems with it.

Rumour - Cedwyn Scott to Carlisle?
The club and Cedwyn Scott can't always update us on his situation. It's likely the club knows and has decided to keep it private. This doesn't rule out that he wants to leave, but it also doesn't mean his mental health hasn't taken a toll. How sympathetic are some vocal fans when results aren't going the club's way? This likely played a part. Perhaps we might hear news now that things have picked up since his second absence. Personally, I think the local media should push for answers during press conferences or do some real journalism to get a statement. Yes, Scott could do this, but if he's not in the right frame of mind, I understand why he wouldn't. If the club is choosing to keep the situation under wraps, then press conferences are the only time fans will get some form of answer, provided they are not edited. You put the question across, even if Stuart Maynard gave a generic response, it's something that could put the rumour mill to rest.

Rumour - Cedwyn Scott to Carlisle?
Football wouldn't be the same without wild rumours and people spreading stories. There might be some truth in it, but until there's something concrete, it should just be treated as a rumour. As for Cedwyn Scott leaving, it depends on whose decision it is. If Scott wants to leave, it's disappointing, especially since Notts gave him time off at a crucial stage to cope with his depression. His departure in this scenario would feel like a kick in the teeth. While I would wish him well, it would be disappointing. If Scott wants more game time, it makes sense, but the timing isn't the best. Being closer to his roots up north might help his mental health. However, there's the question of where he would be better off. Carlisle are in danger of dropping out of the Football League, while Notts are in a good position for promotion to League One. Moving to Carlisle might seem less ambitious, even if he would get more game time. If Notts want to let him go, I would question their commitment to players' mental health, as it could seem like they are pushing him out because he needs time. It's a bit like when Lee Hughes allegedly handed in a sick note from a doctor when Keith Curle, if I remember correctly, wanted Hughesy out. The main thing is that there's room for Cedwyn Scott to be a big part of our team, but it's a case of Stuart Maynard playing him in the right position or managing to get the best out of him and Scott putting in an equal amount of effort.

An Alex Bass Masterclass.
The Carlisle game wasn’t the first time he’s saved us; he’s been doing it in most away games. He’s such a calm presence at the back and pulls off some unbelievably good saves. I think he’s been one of the best signings this summer, definitely in the top three. By the end of the season, that could change, and he might even be my top choice. Alex Bass is a great addition to the club, and it’s fantastic to have a keeper like him, who should only keep getting better.

Super Sam Austin
He’s a good player, technically skilled in areas where we really need that ability. Crossing, reading the game, pressing to win the ball back, and finding the net are all great qualities of Sam Austin. I think people are always looking for better, but we need a player just like him, someone who works hard and takes his chances to start. I believe he’d do well if we make it to League One. As he gets more time on the ball, he’ll be able to influence the game and show his creativity.

"I Believe We Can Push On": Kellan Gordon Eyes Success at Notts County
You need players to come in and step up when needed, and Kellan Gordon has impressed me. Early on, he didn’t get any game time, but that didn’t stop him from working hard. The way he speaks shows he’s a quality player, with his priorities in order, and you can see his focus on wanting to succeed. He was a good player for Crawley, so he’s a good signing for us, and being from Burton, he’s not far from here.

Who's Your Notts Man of the Match v Carlisle?
Alex Bass deserves the Man of the Match award for last night’s performance. He was commanding in the box, especially with all the crosses Carlisle put in. That late save he made was top-notch, but his overall game management was just as impressive. The way he organises the defence and communicates with the players around him makes a huge difference.

Who is your Notts man of the match v Morecambe?
I thought very few of our players could say they performed well. It wasn’t like Notts to give the ball away so easily or not attack as a composed team. In my opinion, only three players deserve to be in the running for this. One was taken off when he was becoming more of a threat, another is listed, but I chose the player I believe deserves it most.
