Match Discussion: PSF - The Posh (A)
@Pies79 I understand your point Regarding another Striker. But Notts have already sent One Out On Loan, in Junior Morias. I think it was hoped that Cedwyn Scott would step up Now Macca's gone and form a Strike Partnership with Jatta, but that (as yet) just hasn't Happened.

So What's Wrong With Notts?
Well that's the Preseason out of the way and to say the Magpies have been Disappointing would be an understatement. Despite new Defenders being brought in to add Strength to the Back Line the same Old Mistakes are happening as they Did Last Season. Poor Results can't all be placed at the Players door . So What's Wrong With Notts? In My Opinion it's the Game Plan it's as plain as the Nose on your face that the Notts "Model" is all Wrong building up from the Back playing Tippy Tappy Football DOES NOT WORK. And as it's been suggested by other Concerned Fans on PON really by playing this type of Football will only Result in Notts being a Mediocre Midtable Team at Best or Relegation back to the National League in the Worse Case. The Excuses of well Notts haven't played at Home, the New Players need time to settle in, Stuart Maynard needs time to sort out his Starting XI all that won't Wash Anymore. What Excuses are going to be Given when Notts are Struggling? And are caught up in a Season Long Relegation Battle? Stuart Maynard needs to be Tough and tell any other People who try and Influence his decisions to Go Away This Squad Is His Team and He Will Not Tolerate any Interference from any other Quarters. But he won't because it's my Belief he's Not Strong Enough to Enforce his Personality at the Club. So where does that leave Notts Should Stuart Maynard Fail? The Appointment of a New Coach, A Yes Man who will Play the Notts Way, which has been deemed the correct way to play their Football. Luke Williams may have left the Lane but his influence still lingers, the Magpies still play his way because it was Successful in the National League and for a Time in League 2. But once it was worked out by other Teams in League 2 and how to play against it the whole thing just came Tumbling Down. A New Strategy needs to be adopted, it doesn't have to be Good to Look at as long as it Produces a Match Winning Team.

The Total Farce Of The Premier League
Yeah you're Probably Right Regarding the 115 outstanding Charges @Robbie My Beef is about the Fact the Premier League bringing in this Rule and the Total Size of the Fine £2.09 Million. I mean what do those in charge do? Write down a list of numbers, then Blindfold one member and stick a Pin in the Paper? For another Club Not has Rich as Man City could quite easily throw that Club into Chaos. And how Long before the EFL bring Something Similar for Clubs outside the Premiership?

How To Annoy Wrexham. Even More.
@Robbie The Topic was written with Tongue Firmly In Cheek. I just thought after the Success of the Deadpool and Wolverine Film, it would be Fun to add more Tension between Deadpool and Wolverine, if Hugh Jackman became a Notts Fan. And in any Follow Up Film the Magpies may Even Get A Mention.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Posh (A)
@Robbie Perhaps the one thing that can be taken as a Positive from the Second game was the Fact despite going 3-1 down, the Notts players still fought on and brought the game back to 3-3. before doing what Notts have got into the Habit of doing, Throwing the Game Away at the Death. I Think You're Right on this type of Form, I can only see Notts has a Midtable Side at Best.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Posh (A)
In the Second Game, same Old Notts. Fall Behind from a Headed Corner. Lose to Another Late Goal. Reading the up dates of the Match, It Appears McGoldrick had a Decent Game. Will he start Alongside Jatta instead of Scott next Saturday? Or will Maynard keep him on the Bench hoping to make an Impact should Notts need it against Tranmere?

Looks a Decent Line Up. Now lets see if Notts can Get A Decent Result.

How To Annoy Wrexham. Even More.
After the Classic Battle between the Magpies and Wrexham for the National League Title. There seems to be some sort Rivalry grown between the Two Clubs. So How About This, Lets Annoy Wrexham Even More. Why Doesn't someone at Notts Approach Hugh Jackman, not to take over the Club, but to Offer some sort of Sponsorship For The Magpies? I Can See The Headlines Now. Wolverine's Notts to Hunt Down Deadpool's Wrexham. A Poster Featuring Wolverine in a Black & White Suit, Steel Claws Extended, Ready For A Fight To The Finish.

The Total Farce Of The Premier League
Apparently the Premier League have fined Manchester City £2.09 million because in 22 matches they were late coming out for the Second Half. Really!! I Mean Really? I know Man City are possibly the Most Hated Team in the Premiership with other Fans but to fine them over £2 Million Pounds is Utter and Complete Garbage, because they breached Premier League Rules With Out Good Reason. Ok Fine the Club but lets keep things in perspective. Now that this as Happened should other Clubs also break this Rule they are going to have be Fined the Same amount. Can you imagine the chaos this could cause if one of the Lower Premier League Clubs were handed a £2 Million Pound Fine? And what if this sort of Rule was Adopted throughout The EFL ? Clubs wouldn't be Fined as Much but Imagine the Damage that would be Done to a Club, if they were Fined between £100,000 and £300,000 for the same sort of infringement, it would probably Result in Some Clubs Going To The Wall. I Know the Premier League make Rules up as they Go Along but by what right do they have to inflict this kind of a Fine on a Club? I hope Man City fight this, because if They Don't the Fall of English Football will take One Step Nearer. And Finally Pep's answer to All This? I'll Make My Team Talks Shorter. Yeh Way To Go Pep. THOUGHTS?

Macca One Last Time.
The Reason for me asking these questions was that around the time of the Early Bird Season tickets going on sale a lot of Fans seemed to think that Macca leaving would have an effect on the Ticket Sales. It as always been my thought that No Player is Bigger than the Club, Regardless of his Popularity. There is also shall we say Sadness amongst Fans seeing the Coach and Players who brought Notts last Major Trophy to Meadow Lane ( the National League Playoff Trophy) leaving and finding pastures New or Retiring and going into Coaching. But for all the Glory those people brought to Notts, the Club goes on New Players and Hero's emerge for the Fans to support , and they in Turn will Leave or Retire but the Circle of Life at the Club continues.

Andy Murray.
Wheelbarrow repair man replied to Robbie's topic in The Sports Stage: Everything Outside of Football@Robbie A Great player but I think he should have Retired before Now. Didn't he have a Serious Back Injury or some such injury. I thought he should have Retired then, because he had Nothing To Prove. He along with his brother was one of the Children who survived the Dunblane Massacre. To go through that Horror and Achieve what he has, is Truly an Amazing Achievement . Well Done Andy. On a Happier Note he and his wife were in the Audience of Mock The Week and the Panel took the Rip out of him, and it was very Funny and Andy took all the Ribbing in Good Humour. The episode is on You Tube and well worth the Watch, if you haven't seen it or a second look if you have. Britain's Best Ever Sports Man? Wow you do like to ask the Hard Questions Fella. I'll give it some thought and get Back to You.

Macca One Last Time.
Yes I Know Macca's gone and different Topics have been written about him. And an Awful Lot By Yours Truly. Just a Couple of more Questions Do you think that if Notts Fans had known Macca was being Sold say around the Time he was appointed as Club Captain, his departure would have had any Real Effect on Season Ticket Sales? And If You Knew Macca was going to Leave Before You Bought Your Season Ticket . Would You have Still bought Your Season Ticket, or would You Have Not Bothered?

@Robbie I've Not Heard or Read anything else about Snus, there's been No update from any Main Stream Media (as I've seen anyway) My Original Thread on this Topic is currently on Page 17 of the PON Website. One of Snus main problems is it increases the Risk Of Heart Problems !! Make you think doesn't it? Also could it part of the Reason why Players Suddenly Feel Tired? Whatever it is Snus needs looking into by the F.A. and Banning, or Football could end up having a lot more Young Fit Players Suddenly Collapsing on the Pitch, Heaven Forbid.

@Robbie Strange isn't it, You know how Notts should Play, I know how Notts should Play. So If Stuart Maynard gets the sack, You Apply for the Head Coach Position and I'll Be Your Assistant, What Do You Reckon?????

A Couple of Months ago (it may have been longer) I wrote a Topic on Snus a Nicotine type substance a lot of players have become Addicted to, which slowly dissolves under the tongue and heightens a players awareness and helps them Relax after a Tough Match. Have any Medical Doctors checked for Snus addiction in the Players who have started having Heart Problems and could this Drug cause or be part of the Problems more Players are suffering with their Heart?

@Robbie It True what Carlton Pie says neither Jodi Jones Nor Aaron Nemane are Not Defenders. Aaron is No Bigger than a Pile of Coppers so he ain't gonna out jump a Six Foot Plus Striker. Jodi is only slightly built and Can't Out Muscle a Big Centre Forward. The Lad is Built for Speed and Trickery . There should be Enough Defenders to Do that job so Neither Jodi or Aaron need to come back and Defend. But the "Model" System ( How I've Grown To Hate That Word) must be played. Tippy Tappy build Up From The Back. Get to the Opponents 18 yard Box then pass it all the way back to the Notts Keeper. When will Stuart Maynard realize the System's Wrong? When he loses his Job. When will Richard Montague realize the System's wrong? When Notts are fighting a Relegation Battle. Then Again Montague Strikes Me As Someone Who Thinks He Can Do No Wrong. Until a Coach comes in (or Stuart Maynard sees the Light) and Stands Up and Says No the Magpies Aren't Playing This Way and things change it would seem our Favourite Team are going to be in for a Season of Struggle. I'm More Than Happy To Be Proven Wrong.

NOW HEAR THIS, NOW HEAR THIS.
@Robbie To be Honest I thought it was a load of Bunkum. Then you read about West Ham wanting to buy a Leeds Striker, then you think, Hey there might be some truth in it. As I've said before did Millwall get their Bid in before Leeds? Or did Leeds think the West Ham interest was just that? So thought no more about it, but when they realised the Hammers wanted to buy Summerville, Macca had already been Snapped up by Millwall so Leeds had to strike up some kind of deal with the Lions, which will Eventually See Macca move to Elland Road.? It is of course What If's or Maybe's there's No Way To Tell if It's just a Rumour or in fact there's some Actual Truth In the Rumour, it will All Come Out Eventually, One Way Or Another.

Jokers Wild: Joke Of The Day.
There was this couple who were going to a Friends Fancy Dress Party. Suddenly their Car breaks down. The Husband can't fix it and he says to his wife, I'm going to lock the Car and leave it here till morning and get the AA out so they can sort it. How are we going to get to Ian and Brenda's ? asks his wife. Look says the Husband. You can see their house from here. Pointing to their Friends Big House which can be seen across a Field. We can put our costume on and walk across the Field to Ian and Brenda's. So they put on their costume a Pantomime Cow. The Husbands at the front while the Wife is the back end. Anyway half way across the Field, they hear a Bellow. Oh No says the Wife. It's the Bull. What are we going to do? Well replies her Husband, I Going To Pretend To Eat Grass. I Think You should Brace Yourself.

NOW HEAR THIS, NOW HEAR THIS.
Here's an update on this Rumour . Might be Something Might be Nothing. West Ham are about to sign Leeds Dutch Striker Crysencio Summerville. Is this who Macca will eventually replace at Leeds if this Rumour is True?

I'm Not bothered Doctor just as long as it's Healthy. Doctor goes to the Next Bed Morning Mrs James. Oh I see your Baby is also due on August the 15th. And what are you hoping for? I'd like a little Girl Doctor because we've already got a Little Lad. Onto the Third Bed goes the Doctor Morning Mrs Connelly. I don't believe this your Baby is also due on August the 15th. Looks like I'm going to be busy. Boy or a Girl? I'm Not really bothered Doctor. Next Bed Along. Morning Mrs Reeves. Oh I see your Baby isn't due until the 19th of August. That's Right Doctor I Didn't Go On The Same Coach Trip The Others Went On.

The Mount Rushmore of Notts
Naming only Four Notts Legends is Difficult. I think a Fairer idea would be a Players Mount Rushmore and a Managers Mount Rushmore. Here's An Idea. Never Mind The Seven Wonders Of The World. How About The Seven Wonders of Notts? Managers Mount Rushmore Jimmy Sirrel Jack Wheeler Sam Allardyce Neil Warnock. Players Mount Rushmore Tommy Lawton Les Bradd Don Masson Albert Iremonger. Special Mentions Brian Kilcline Lee Hughes and Macauley Langstaff a Bust done of Each along with Derek Pavis and Colin Slater. I Don't Know about a Notts Mount Rushmore. More Like A Mountain Range.

Ask The Family
I remember this programme on the B.B.C. When Robert Robinson was in charge, I think it was only open to Posh Families. But Oh How The Mighty Have Fallen. Presented by Dick and Dom, who were about as Entertaining as Root Canal Work They Had a Combined I.Q Slightly Higher that a Rabbit Dropping and thought Going Round Shouting BOGGIES Was Funny. Give Me Strength.
