Tired
Bang On @Robbie Bang On Sir. I think this is Even More Reason for the Rest of Football to Break Away from the Premier League and Just Let It Go It's Own Way. The Championship Leagues 1 and 2 plus the National League all come together and Form It's Own Governing body, with Proper Transfer and Payment Structure in Place, with Caps on Both. Fans having a Bigger Say.

Visions of Baldwin..... except this is for Palace
OOOPS. But then again that's Nothing New To Notts Is It? How Many times did that Happen to the Magpies Last Season?

Match Discussion: PSF - The Minstermen (A)
Once Again the Notts Defenders instead of Tackling the Opposition they run along side or away from them. Echo's of Last Season? Hasn't Anything Been Learned? It's No Good being on Top for 80 minutes as in Germany or 45 minutes like Today. Matches are for 90+ minutes. Another thing I have noticed about those two Matches, once a Goal Against Notts goes in Heads Drop and the Magpies become More Vulnerable to another Goal. Where's the Leadership on the Pitch? Oh of course He's Now Coaching in Sheffield.

Sorry to Sound Negative, but Questions about Stuart Maynard are going to Start being asked Again. I Agree with You @RobbieNotts should be Winning Matches like this and Victories Build Confidence within the Team and Belief Amongst the Fans. As you say @Fan of Big Tone Dan Crowley coming off is a Big Worry, lets hope it's just as a Precaution and he'll soon be Back. Because if he is injured with both him and Matt Palmer unavailable, for the Start of the Season, Notts are going to Start off on the Back Foot.

2-0 up with a Staring Line Up being Considered for the Start of the New Season and a National League Team Pull Notts back to 2-2. Good Grief. Jatta scored again which is a Positive.

John Bostock joins Solihull Moors
One Hell of a Signing for Solihull Moors. The Experience John will bring to the team will be an Massive Help in their Attempt to get into the EFL. I also wonder if John will go for his Coaching Badges, while he's there? Good Luck John and All The Best.

Macca Why So Cheap?
@Scotty How Do You Know This ? It certainly hasn't been Public Knowledge. Do You An Insider At The Club That Feeds You this Information? As You Have Stated Before You're Not Working For The Club. And £2.5 Million, Certainly Sounds Better Than £750,000.

Tired
A Big Complaint From the England camp during the Euro's was they were Tired. Here may be a Reason Why. Air Miles flown by Premier League Clubs, this Preseason. Man Utd Chelsea and Spurs each over 12,000 miles. Brighton Newcastle Arsenal and Aston Villa each over 11,000 miles. Bournemouth Wolves 10,000 miles. West Ham Man City 9,000 miles Palace and Liverpool 8,000 miles, Forest 5,000 miles Fulham 3,000 miles Ipswich 2,000 miles, Brentford Southampton and Leicester each over 1,000miles and Finally Everton 511 miles. Reasons given for such Long Hauls creating a Bigger Fans Base and of course MONEY. A Vast Majority of Players don't like these trips because it means them being Away from their Families for Long Periods. But I'm sure a Big Fat Pay Cheque will more than Compensate their Absence From Their Loved Ones.

Welcome to Defender, Robbie Cundy.
His injury problems maybe why he's only been given a one year contract. Listening to his interview he seems a confident lad and if he can stay injury free Notts seem to have signed another decent player at this level. Also remember a Certain Jodi Jones came to the Lane, with a not so good Fitness history and he turned out Pretty Good.

The Palais
@Robbie Not sure about an over 65's Night. You're bound to trip over somebody's Zimmer Frame. All the Dances would look the Same The Robot due to Arthritis. And the Drugs, what about the Drugs !! High Blood Pressure Tablets, Heart Tablets, Pain Killers, Vicks Synex, Cough Syrup. Finding somebody's False Teeth in your glass of Vodka. And could you Imagine the Line of People waiting to use the Toilets? People telling the DJ to turn his Music down because it was to Damn Loud. The Para Medics on stand by in case some Old Guy doing the Twist going round and round and up and down, he goes down but can't get back up again. Then there's the Old Girlfriend you run into, the Pretty Slim young thing you knew all those years ago looks like she's been eaten by the Old Gal your talking to Now. The smell of Est De Lauder as been replaced by the Smell of Vick rub on and Ralgex. And all they want to talk about is their Grandkids. Then there's the Blokes all Reeking of Brut or Old Spice. not being able to get around the Dance floor like they used to, because their Walking Stick gets in the way. Their once Mane of thick hair is now Thinning and Grey. Perhaps the one saving Grace would be the Price of Beer the same Price on the Night as it was 45 years ago. Now that might be a good reason to turn up. I of course write this as an over 65 year old.????

Macaulay Langstaff Watch.
Macca's First goal for Millwall will come Sure as Eggs is Eggs. Wouldn't Surprise Me if it was a Double either.

Chris & Alex Reedtz: Five Years In Charge
Five Years, where as the Time Gone? From the Grim Darkness and Hardship of the Alan Hardy Era, the Brothers Certainly have taken Notts back into the Sunlight. Their Ownership of the Club has Brought Faith and Hope and Financial Stability . Thank You Chris & Alex.

Macca Why So Cheap?
The Departure of Macca from Notts at what seems a Ridiculous Low Price as tendered some Speculation, well it as with Me Anyway. This is just my thoughts on the Subject and this is just My Opinion about things. And this an Extension of what I have already commented on another Thread. It was Announced that Notts are in an Healthy Financial Position and that the Club Had No Need To Sell Off It's Star Players. It was also Stated that Notts had a Budget that could Cope Financially with Playing in League 1 and the Lower Half of the Championship. The Announcement of the Purchase of the site to be turned into the Nest and the total Revamp of the Meadow Lane Pitch up to Premier League Standard, was met with Great Delight by the Notts Fans, however have these Projects come at a Price? That being the Sale of our Most Prolific Scorer Macaulay Langstaff For a Paltry £750,000 ? Did the Notts board Miscalculate the Budget for the their Two Ambitious Projects? And Did they Required Money Quickly to cover an unseen or unexpected Expense and Selling Macca was their Way Out of a Financial Problem? This is of course is Pure Conjecture. But Unforeseen Expenditure Does Arise and Even the Most Astute Finance Personnel Can Sometimes Miss These Problems. What made Me think About this? The Speed in which Macca's Deal was wrapped Up. The Quote Macca made saying he Wanted to Help Notts into League 1. If the Club did Face a Money Problem, and Macca was Told by the Notts Board they needed to Sell him to get them out of a Difficult Position ? It Strikes Me that Macca is the Kind of Guy that would Accept the Move to Help The Club Out.

Junior Morias to Dagenham & Redbridge on loan.
The More I think about it, the more I'm Convinced there's something more to Macca's Move, than is being Told to the Fans. What that is ? I Don't Know But Something Doesn't Seem Right. Then Again Fans Will Only Be Told What They Need To Know. @Piethagoram And yet in a Statement The Fans Were Told. Notts Don't Need To Sell Players And Have A Budget To Cover Playing In League 1 and Perhaps the Lower Half Of The Championship. It Would Appear That The Budget Has Been Either Wrongly Calculated Or The Purchase Of The Nest Site And The Laying Of a Premier League Playing Surface at the Lane, Have Cost More Than First Estimated.

Just Out Of Curiosity
A Nice Simple Question. Just Out Of Curiosity. Who In Your Opinion Is The Best Notts Coach Of The 21st Century ? Two Come To My Mind Martin "Mad Dog" Allen And Steve Cotterill.

Sad News Regarding The Royal Mint
Your Not Wrong @Robbie. I Would Say More But Have No Desire To Get Into A Political Debate. Because As I Have Said Before Keep Politics Out Of Sport And Off This Website.

At least it's going to return to a More Understandable Name The Palais. Pryzm What Sort of Name Is Pryzm. What a Load of Cobblers.

Junior Morias to Dagenham & Redbridge on loan.
The thing about signing a New Striker is they cost Money and if the Club do sign another Striker don't be Surprised if he comes from Abroad. Then again the Club might ask Les Bradd to make a comeback????

Sad News Regarding The Royal Mint
Another Great British Institution being lost, the way things are going they'll be Nothing Produced in this Once Great Nation of Ours. We'll have everything coming in From abroad and at this Rate will End Up Like A Third World Country.

Junior Morias to Dagenham & Redbridge on loan.
I wish Junior all the Best at Dagenham & Red Bridge, he'll get more Game Time there than at the Lane. It wouldn't Surprise me if the loan is made Permanent come January. He never seemed to get the Rub of the Green at Notts . What with Macca and Didzy up front then the arrival of Jatta pushed him further down the Pecking Order, he never seemed to been given the Chance by Luke Williams or Stuart Maynard to try and establish himself in the Starting XI.

The quality of fresh fruit & Veg
I always enjoy Going to Iceland the Supermarket that is Not the Country. I Found out hiring a Long ship full of Viking Raiders quite expensive Now I've Retired. Anyway I enjoy Grapes with my bowl of Bran Flakes in a Morning and the last few plastic containers of Grapes I've had despite them being well in Date I found them Sour and a light brown colouring comes onto the Grapes Skin. The Bananas are either to Ripe (Brown Skinned ) Or Unripe (Green Skinned) There seems to be No Happy Medium. Their Green Apples are decent and Oranges are Nice. Iceland's packet Iceberg lettuce and Celery get a Thumbs Up. If you have an Iceland Bonus Card and Shop there on a Tuesday, over Sixties get 10% off their Shopping Bill.

Chesterfield FC
Even a Result like this I'm not sure Chesterfield will be Challenging for Promotion to League 1 this Coming Season. Last year they were going to Smash Wrexham's Point tally they were going to do this going to do that, they Flattered only to deceive. Lets face facts I think which ever team lost the Wembley Playoff Final between Notts and Chesterfield they were destined to be National League Champions last season., and so it proved with Chesterfield comfortably winning the National League Title. I think they will end up like Notts did last year and just secure their place in League 2. I would hope Derby will be Investing Big in their Squad this coming Season, because despite gaining Promotion back to the Championship I think I read that Derby had one of the Oldest Squad's in League 1. I will say this out of all the Clubs Mentioned In Signing Macca, I would have Preferred Him To Have Gone To The Rams. Because I think Macca has a better chance of playing Championship Football with Derby in 2025/2026 season than with Millwall. There were also Rumours Derby were interested in Ruben when he was available From Notts. If those Players had been signed, with them both only up the A52, I think there would have been a Fair Few Magpie Fans nipping over to see how those Two Players were doing for the Rams.

Help Wanted
As We Fans of Lower League Clubs continue to look on as another League 2 or National League Club face Financial Problems or Administration ( problems that we Fans of Notts are Familiar with in the Club's Past). Help Is Wanted. Now I'm Not a Finance Expert Just an Ordinary Fan who has ideas which May Help Clubs they are Not a Cure for a Club's Debts or Any Other Problems They May Have. This Topic is Just Food For Thought. Firstly Any Club with Financial Worries shouldn't have the Added Burden of the EFL Slapping a 10 Point Deduction on them, should they manage to get they Finances in Order before the Start of the Following or Current Season. It Makes No Sense and Just Puts More Pressure on a Club. The EFL Need to Work with a Financial Company who can produce a Blue Print to help Struggling Clubs with Such Things has Players and Staff wages, Stadium Rental Etc and Produce a Budget which the Club must Stick Rigidly Too. It would also be a Huge Gesture and Financial Help, if a Top Premier League Team would Play a Match against a Struggling Club All Star XI. By that I mean take Manchester City 's Team Full of all their Star Players (Haarland Foden etc) and Play Woking (who have been the Latest Club with money Troubles), the Woking Team would be Thrashed I hear you say. Ah Yes but what if the Woking Team also had Premier League Stars in their side? Say 8 Stars and 3 Woking players in the Line Up, who could be subbed during the game by their Team mates, so all the Woking players got a Chance to play With and Against Premier League Players and Michael Doyle could pitch his wits against Pep. All the Premier Players will offer their Services Free and all Money Raised would go into the Woking Club Coffers. Just a Couple of Ideas from Me. Do any other PON Members have Ideas that Could Help Clubs in Trouble?
