Prediction league 23/24 FA CUP SPECIAL #2 - Saturday 2 December
My performance in this round is akin to Notts defenders, I think I need more time on the training ground. At least I’m still ahead of @super_ram

Luke Williams Determined to Address Notts County Defensive Challenges
I’m confident Luke will sort out our defensive problems. He did sound very angry a side of him we’ve not necessarily seen before and it’s understandable after the defensive blunders.

Get your eyes checked... as per Charlie Slater
The worst I’ve had is a PVD Posterior Vitreous Detachment which is when the gell in your eye starts to break up, I had flashing zigzag lines for a while which was quite worrying, apparently it’s quite common as you get older and normally needs no treatment but it does leave you with floaters (little black blobs that float around your sight). It isn’t as serious as a detached retina thankfully.

Just got back from Whitby, the snow on the moors was really thick plus there was freezing fog I’m glad to be home in one piece! Just got to get the cat from the cattery then I’m settling in.- Wordle
Wordle 896 5/6* ⬜⬜????⬜⬜ ⬜????⬜⬜???? ⬜⬜⬜???????? ⬜⬜⬜???????? ???????????????????? I started that in Whitby and got stuck we just got home when inspiration struck.- Trust in the Gaffer: Junior Morias on Team Selection at Notts County
He’s had a tough time with injuries and having to wait his turn being down the pecking list of strikers, let’s hope we see more of him in the future but hopefully not because someone is injured (or sold)- The Magpies’ Flight: Notts County’s Bittersweet Encounter with Shrewsbury Town
I was very disappointed to see three goals which were absolute gifts due to calamitous defending. We really need to tighten up the defence and stop making individual errors. However it was good to see the young 17 year old making his debut and scoring within minutes of coming on, it was a good goal too, as was Brindley’s. Notts had lots of possession and controlled the game for large periods and would have won but for three silly mistakes. Onwards and upwards as we concentrate on the league.- Match Discussion: FA Cup 2nd Round - Shrewsbury (H)
We controlled large parts of the game, score two great goals BUT we gift them three goals, Stallard described the defending as comical, we’ll I’m not laughing. ☹️ I was however really pleased for 17 (yesterday) year old Sanderson who scored within minutes of coming on as sub, what a start to his first league game, he’s been with Notts since he joined the under 8’s.- Match Discussion: FA Cup 2nd Round - Shrewsbury (H)
8 changes, I wonder how strong Shrewsbury’s line up will be, if they go strong we may well struggle.- Get your eyes checked... as per Charlie Slater
Blimey @Chris that attack sounds nasty.- Pitch inspection 3pm
Yep, panic over- Over the Moon with First League Goal: Junior Morias Praises ‘Brilliant’ Notts County Supporters
It was lovely to see Junior Morias celebrate his goal with his team mates and the kop, he was really pumped up and I thought he had a great game I’m looking forward to seeing more of him in the future.- Jim O’Brien Celebrates Notts County’s Resilience in Victory Over Crawley Town
Jim is a player who’s been with us in some of the recent bleak times I absolutely love his passion epitomised by his celebration after scoring the excellent diving header, I hope he has many more playing days left and when they are over I hope a place can be found for him off the pitch.- Pitch inspection 3pm
