On Saturday we take on Bradford City in a televised match with an earlier kick off. How many links can we find between the two clubs. I’ve got an unusual link to start us off, how about Colin Slater? He started his reporting career for Bradford City games before reporting on Notts County. If that’s a bit tenuous I give you Mark Stallard who played 42 games for Bradford scoring 10 goals in 1996-97, he later had two spells at Notts becoming a firm favourite with the fans. So today was Remembrance Sunday, we normally go up to the local memorial for the ceremony but today we were busy with other things, I wanted to do some gardening before it rained because the brown bin is collected tomorrow but we did pause from our chores at 11am to remember those that gave their lives for our freedom. Listening to the radio it sounded like we were unlucky to lose this match, I wonder if there will be any repercussions because of the incident with the linesman being hit by something thrown from the Notts fans.
