I was really sorry to see him go and I do think the squad is weaker for it, he was an exciting player it was great to see him running at defences, I hope he continues to flourish for his sake but wish he was still here.

Good morning, it’s the start of another week, the weather seems to have calmed down somewhat, what’s everyone doing today? I can’t believe how organised we are for Christmas, we have got all the presents for family already, we are usually still scratching our heads now. I think we’ve just been swept up with everyone else’s early start, it seems to get earlier every year. We’ve resisted putting up the tree etc., that can wait till next weekend. Good morning and happy Sunday, it’s still a bit windy here and rain is forecast. It was a wise decision from me not to get a ticket for yesterdays game, disappointing that it didn’t go ahead but perhaps a bit of luck really as mentioned elsewhere we’ll hopefully get some players fit. Morning all, glad you enjoyed Martin Allen @Chris he’s very entertaining to listen to. No park run for me this morning I’m not keen on running in the rain, I’m also giving the match a miss today and staying at home to listen on the radio where it’s warm and dry, these old bones don’t like cold wet weather. I don’t know why our son got it, they must think he’s in Wales.

@Robbie hopefully it won’t be too bad here, I’d really worry if I lived in Wales though. All the football in Wales have been called off and people are being told to stay at home.

Did anyone get the alert? A loud siren alert to warn of serious weather conditions. Millions in the west of the country received and our son and daughter in law got it, they live a couple of mile down the road from us but we didn’t get it. Weird.

It is indeed great news, Palmer is a great asset to the club.

It’s a shame he couldn’t properly celebrate his first professional goal as he would have like due to the score line but hopefully he’ll bag a few more and be on the winning side.
