  1. Welcome @Max Roberts now you are here I hope you enjoy connecting with fellow football fans.
  2. Enjoy. Give my regards to Lech.
  3. I will thank you but I’ll still make a donation, nothing to do with the hat though.
  4. That’s very generous of you @Chris thank you , I was going to buy one from the shop but I’ll make a donation to PoN instead.
  5. Hopefully Notts will be back to full strength with Cameron and Jones back, it’ll be interesting to see if he brings Stone back, Notts have lost every game Slocombe has played in, is that his fault? Do the defenders trust Stone more and are therefore more comfortable with him?
  6. Next up Notts travel to Gillingham. How many links between the two clubs can we find, players, coaches, managers, tea ladies etc. ???? Heres one to start Vadain Oliver joined Notts on loan in 2016 and scored one goal in 18 matches he later ended up at Gillingham in 2020. Join in and find a link.
  7. Oh dear I’m slipping down the table, time to get serious.
  8. Wordle 851 3/6* ⬜????⬜???????? ????????⬜????⬜ ????????????????????
  9. Great performance from England 2 great goals from Rashford and Kane plus a superbly taken penalty from Kane. Jude Bellingham had a fantastic game. We win the group and qualify for Euros.
  10. It looks great, a lovely tribute to both true legends.
  11. This is my lucky hat which has been to just about every match with me for the last 30 years. I remember the day I bought it in a charity shop on the Isle of Wight as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. Sadly it has now seen better days so it really does have to go. Goodbye old friend. ????
  12. I’ve just seen the highlights of that game, not many from Englands point of view though. Is it a friendly? I thought it was a qualifier, the Australia game was a friendly.
  13. For those interested England are playing Italy tonight in a qualification game for Euros, kick off 7.45pm, it’s on Channel 4 coverage starts at 7pm.
  14. Wordle 850 4/6* ⬜????????⬜⬜ ????????????⬜⬜ ⬜⬜???????????? ????????????????????
  15. The whole time the site was down I found myself refreshing, refreshing, refreshing it’s hard to do with your fingers crossed. It’s great to see people returning to the fold and chatting again.
  16. It’s a great idea to make PoN easy to navigate, especially for newcomers who might not be familiar with forums.
  17. I keep well away from that word these days thankfully. I do recommend something called “leisure” though, it’s much more enjoyable.
  18. Unbelievably he got manager of the month in August, now he’s gone. Crazy.
  19. @Chris I think hybrid is a good idea my car is unleaded but I’ll be looking at hybrid next time.
  20. To be honest you can say that of most football fans.
  21. Just tried the latest email, This is what I get.
  22. Yes I agree they completely out-sung us but I think away fans very often are more vocal than home fans because they have a sort of camaraderie with each other and obviously want to make as much noise as they can because they away fans are usually outnumbered. George my grandson mentioned the kop weren’t as loud as they were last time he attended, it’s hard to sing when you’re losing 2-1, 3-1, 4-1.
