Indeed it is very encouraging but at the same time I miss not having lots of space round me, yesterday the seat I had chose was between two rather large gentlemen in fact when I got there I wasn’t sure there was a seat because I couldn’t see it. I spent the whole match squashed in like a sardine, not a particularly pleasant experience. The week before that someone very close (I couldn’t work out who) had very bad body odour which was almost overpowering at one point. I guess I’ll have to put up with these things, that’s the price of success. The days are gone when you had to shout to the bloke next to you because he was 12 seats away.

Oxford are doing very well at the moment they are surprising a lot of people, I’m glad Reuben is settled there and wish him success but I’m also glad we don’t seem to be missing him at the moment.

Grandson George went with his mum and Dad to see Les Miserables in London for his birthday treat, he wasn’t miserable after hearing of Notts win.

Morning all, I’m a bit late this week so apologies. What plans have you got this weekend or if you’re reading this late what did you get up to. In an hour or so I’ll be heading off to Long Eaton to do my 5k Park Run. Then this afternoon it’s the match of course, our youngest grandson is staying with us but he’s not into football despite my best efforts so he’s not coming. On Sunday the rest of the family are joining us for a meal. Whats everyone else doing/done?

This style of play won us promotion last year and it’s doing pretty well so far this season, I think the graph is a bit misleading by making it sound as if Notts play a boring style of football whereas the opposite is the truth, I haven’t been as excited at matches for a long while.

I try not to look for clues to be honest @Piethagoram I’d rather solve it off my own bat, I certainly wouldn’t have got the word from that clue, too clever for me.

I try not to be over critical because I know that the last thing the players want is to miss that absolute sitter or let that attacker get the better of them and score a goal but at times it does happen and when it does at a match I might let out a groan but it’s not a negative groan just a disappointed one. I hate it when fans shout negatively towards players who make a mistake. Similarly when posting here and elsewhere I’d rather post positively than the opposite.

I agree with @liampie I am also really happy to be back in the league with stable owners and manager after recent turbulent years, anything else is a bonus, let’s take one step at a time and see where it takes us, I do feel that the future is bright though.
