I was quoting the stats I saw while watching the game on the telly for the first half they said Notts had 77% possession.

Morning all a cold start to Wednesday at 2 degrees. @Robbie I find it’s best not to read posts on social media when Notts haven’t won, it’s really depressing how fickle some fans are. The people on here are much more realistic and positive thinking. Tonight I’m going to the pub to see a friend and old work colleague to have a chinwag, I won’t be drinking beer though I’m off the booze until Christmas, any suggestions of a nice low calorie non alcoholic drink I could have instead?

I’ve gone for David McGoldrick, he was all over the park and did his best to create an opening, he’s a real class act. The penalty was perfect too.

It was a good game for the neutral fan, Notts had 77% possession in the first half but only one shot at goal from Jatta, the second half was much better, we deserved a goal early on but as usual we didn’t take our chances and Walsall did and went 2-0 up, the penalty gave us hope but that was soon dashed when they went 3-1 up but once again Notts fought back to 3-2 but too little too late, we nearly got an equaliser from Tsaroulla but it wasn’t to be. Unlucky maybe but we were the architects of our own downfall. We are missing the injured players without a doubt.

The first goal was a bit of a fluke really, it went straight in from the corner. The second was a soft goal to concede and the third they caught us on the break when we were chasing the game. Notts pulled it back to 3-2 with a grub hunter from Hinchy and in the dying minutes Tsaroulla nearly levelled the score but from a great save from their goalie. We move on to Colchester.

They’ve got a big job to pull this round now.

Lots better start they’ve done exactly what I asked for and are peppering the goal with shots unlucky not to be in front.

I’m watching on the telly and it’s the same old Notts really, 77% possession but no real threats on goal apart from one shot by Jatta that went wide with Austin trying to get on the end of it. Walsall have a long throw specialist and set pieces seems to be their main threat, I think Cisse is struggling a bit but hopefully he’ll come more into the game if Maynard keeps him on. Lets hope we can get some shots on goal in the second half one goal could win this.

Good luck to Cisse in his first league start, he could have a bright future from what I’ve seen of him. Great to see Didzy back too.

Forgot to say, I’ve lost half a stone since coming back off my latest holiday. I just need to lose a couple of pounds to get below 13 stone before Christmas then I can eat all the goodies and put it all back again. ????

Good morning, it’s a pretty cold Tuesday morning at 2 degrees. I’ve just been awarded a helpful badge, that’s new thank you PoN and I assume @Chris I shall “wear” it with pride. ???? The carpet was laid yesterday, we had to hoover up lots of fluff from the carpet and they left all the remnants for us to dispose of apart from that it looks great. Today, we’ll be putting all the furniture back and sorting it all out, tonight I’ll be watching the match on Sky Sports+ let’s hope we get a positive result, I’d take a draw right now.
