BBC RNS Dave Bracegirdle pre eve of season thoughts
I think I will need to get used to not hearing Charlie Slater who I thought was great but I’m sure Dave will do a good job alongside Stall of course.

Weekend Plans - Friday 4th - Sunday 6th
We waited in but the Notts shirts for our grandchildren didn’t turn up I am really disappointed with the service I’ve received I know they have been busy but I was assured they’d been despatched Wednesday first class. So we had to wave our family off on their holiday to Croatia without their shirts. We gave the boys some Euros we had so they could buy something when they got there so that cheered them up. I’ve just watched the Sheffield Wed v Southampton game which was good. Tomorrow it should be Park Run but if the weather is really bad I’ll give it a miss.

Healthy Living: Balancing Nutrition, Exercise, and Self-Care
9,572 steps today but the curry and pint of beer may be my downfall as far as weigh gain is concerned, I always weigh myself first thing so we’ll see what damage has been done tomorrow.

Will there be a summer this year?
Here’s a shot from around 40 years ago when we went to Cleethorpes and it rained continuously the tent ended up worse than this surrounded by a lake. Our two sons were quite young but they really enjoyed playing in the puddles. That’s my old Austin Allegro in the background.

Healthy Living: Balancing Nutrition, Exercise, and Self-Care
Since Sunday I have lost 4lb but I know I will put some if not all of that back on this weekend because that’s the time I tend to have better meals and the odd pint. Heres a screen shot from my Fitbit.

Weekend Plans - Friday 4th - Sunday 6th
Morning all what are we all going to be up to this weekend? Anything exciting or mundane. I guess most exciting thing will be Notts first game at Sutton. What else will you be up to let PoN know your plans. Today I’ll be hoping and praying the postman brings my grandsons Notts shirts so they can have them before they go on holiday tonight. It’s curry night so we are having a Chicken Biryani homemade by Mrs. T. Later I’ll watch Sheffield Wed v Southampton on the box. Tomorrow it looks like a rainy day but hopefully it won’t be too bad for my park run ????then of course I’ll be glued to the radio to listen to Notts commentary. Sunday is yet to be decided we are decluttering the house at the moment and selling some unwanted stuff so I might carry on with that. Whatever you are up to I hope it’s a good one for you.

Team Talk - Notts TV
This programme was back on air Wednesday night after the off season break with Mark Shardlow hosting, the guests were Charlie McParland, Kelvin Wilson and Seamus Donagh. Of course amongst other things they were discussing where they thought Notts would finish, no one said they’d be automatically promoted they thought they’d finish in the playoffs, one tipped Mansfield for automatic promotion, Kelvin Wilson thought Mansfield would fall short again the others thought they’d be in he playoffs. If Notts and Mansfield both finish in the playoffs this would bring the possibility of a Notts v Stags final at Wembley, wow can you imagine that! It was also said that Stags had sold 5,200 season tickets is that more than Notts? If it is I’m surprised.

Match Discussion: Game 1 - The Us (A)
It’d be great to have that first day win but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s crucial, it’s a very long season and there’ll no doubt be ups and downs, I think a draw would be ok but if we lost it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

Stall's pre season preview
@Chris I agree, Stall does a great interview, he really is like a true fan of the club, I’m glad he’s staying as a summariser on the commentaries.

Healthy Living: Balancing Nutrition, Exercise, and Self-Care
Today for breakfast I had corn flakes with a sprinkling of raisins, for lunch one slice of whole meal bread to make a cheese and tomato sandwich, followed by an apple, for tea a grilled tuna steak, with baby tomatoes, small portion of spaghetti and tender stem brocolli, all tossed together with chilli flakes, a glass and a half of white wine to wash it down and a small scoop of chocolate cookie ice cream to follow. At supper time I had an orange. Throughout the day I had 4 coffees no sugar. We had a walk and I’ve done 6,964 steps (5.4 km), I have a daily target of 7,000 sometimes I go above sometimes below. This was my tea:

MAGnets Links - Sutton United
Notts County travel to Sutton United for the first game of the season. How many players, managers etc., can we name that have links to both clubs? One that springs to mind for me is Enzio Boldewijn who played for Notts in 2018-2021 he made 112 appearances and scored 19 goals before joining Sutton United. How many more links can we find?

Notts County’s Pre-Season: A Recap of the Squad’s Progress
As usual Williams has meticulously planned and prepared fantastically well for the coming season, each pre season match has seen a different challenge which has given him a chance to try different systems and players in different roles. I think we can look forward to the new season with quiet confidence.

Will there be a summer this year?
I feel sorry for families with children who are having a camping holiday, I’ve done that when we had small children and no money and it’s no fun in a tent in the rain and wind.
