Notts County Manager Luke Williams Praises Team's Performance in Pre-Season Friendly
Another good friendly for Williams to test out various things, it sounds like we played well and could have scored more.

- Season Predictions: Who Will Come Out on Top?
I reckon we should do this at the end of the season it’d be easier. Best signing: David McGoldrick Highest scorer:Got to be Langstaff surely, Most improved player: Sam Austin Most starts: Palmer of course, he’s got to be first on the team sheet unless injured (God forbid) Best Partnership: I’m hoping Langstaff and McGoldrick, get banging them goals in lads!- Charlie Slater moves on
My wife said Charlie and Stall should have their own show, she really enjoyed listening to them and she’s not really bothered about football.- Charlie Slater favourite commentary clips
More from Charlie and Stall, we are going to miss this.- Charlie Slater favourite commentary clips
This is on of my favourites when Michael Doyle scored from the half way line. What’s your favourite? ”Michael Doyle in your life…..” ????- Wordle
Well done @super_ram, I forgot yesterday. Here’s todays. Wordle 759 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜????????⬜⬜ ⬜⬜???????????? ????⬜⬜???????? ????????????????????- Youth Scholars sign deals
Congratulations to them all, I hope they make the grade and will feature in the first team in the years to come.- Luke Williams discusses Notts County’s new kit design and player evaluation
I’m glad to hear there was no trouble between the fans that’s how it should be, banter and friendly rivalry yes but definitely we didn’t want any aggro. It’s good that both sets of fans can drink together in the pubs around Nottingham. I’m also pleased to hear Williams and Cooper get on well together that can only be good for Notts and the city, who knows one day we may be playing in the same league gain, I’d like to see that in my lifetime, hopefully in the upper divisions of the league.- Salford away moved to Friday night
It’s an away game isn’t it? I can imagine this will be really annoying to those that work and want to go to the game, they might not finish work on time.- Charlie Slater leaves Notts County commentary with heartfelt message
This was always going to happen he is very talented and has been a commentary on some much more high profile games than Notts, he is also active on local television. I will definitely miss the banter he had with Stall they obviously had a genuine friendship which came across on the radio. Good luck Charlie you will do well in whatever you move on to.- Charlie Slater moves on
I would imagine Dave Bracegirdle will take over as he’s done it when Charlie couldn’t. He’s ok but not a patch on Charlie, I’ll miss the banter between Charlie and Stall.- Charlie Slater moves on
This is only to be expected but nonetheless very sad.- Notts Alumni: Ian Richardson
The word legend is often mentioned with regards to footballers but in my opinion Ian Richardson epitomises the word legend, he’s was a great servant to the club including during some of our darkest times, like @NottsLoyal say I can remember him collecting donations along with his wife outside supermarkets to try and keep Notts alive. I too would live to see him return to Notts in some capacity, he deserves all the accolades that come his way on here and elsewhere.- Welcome to PON Bryn Roberts
@Bryn Roberts a warm welcome from me too.- Notts County’s Tobi Adebayo-Rowling Makes Triumphant Return to the Pitch
He seems to be a right character, the sort of person you can’t help but like, I bet he’s great to have in the dressing room. It sounds like he had a good performance against Forest from what I hearing, so I’m sure he’ll do well this season. I’m really looking forward to seeing him okay in league 2.- MAGnet links - AFC Telford
On Tuesday 18th July Notts travel to Telford for a friendly match with AFC Telford. How many players, coaches, managers etc., can we name that have links with both clubs? I’ll start you off with Spencer Weir-Davis who played for Notts between 2007 and 2009 making 40 appearances scoring 3 goals. Over to you how many more can we name?- Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
Thanks for the reports it sounds like Notts put up a good performance against a strong Forest squad. I listened to the two managers interviews afterwards and Luke Williams apologised for talking to a player (Cameron I think) from the touch line which caused him to lose concentration and gift the goal. Williams praised the Forest manager for chatting with him before the game and said it wasn’t often you could swap ideas with a Premiership manager and he hoped to get the two management teams together at some stage for a meeting. The Forest manager gave no praise whatsoever to Notts but mainly concentrated on talking about his team.- Wordle

@cheeky~k8 I hope you get used to the hearing aid, I’m sure with time you’ll forget you’re wearing it. Today I did my 5k park run at Sewrby Hall and Gardens, it was really hard going we had to run along the cliff top which was uphill and it was blowing a gale, just before we got to Bridlington we turned round and came back along the same route but downhill and the wind at my back which was a relief, then we entered the garden and ran around the hall. It was painful at times very different to West Park at Long Eaton which is as flat as a pancake. This afternoon we had a stroll around Bridlington which was nice but it’s becoming a bit chavvy (or am I turning into a snob?) Back at our lodge now and relaxing with a beer as the rain pours down. We’ve got a lovely view over fields from our patio and saw some deer this morning.- Weekend Plans Friday 14th - Sunday 16th
@super_ram we’re in a place called Sewerby which is near Bridlington. It’s a lodge and looks like it’s got good wifi but no mobile signal, it’s very comfortable so we are looking forward to a nice relaxing week.- Kyle Cameron on the upcoming season
