  1. Wordle 755 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜???? ⬜????⬜⬜⬜ ⬜???????????????? ???????????????????? Rubbish start but pulled it back.
  2. Good morning all, well the weekend is here so what plans have you got? Or if you are reading this late what have you been doing? Let the community know, it’s great to get an insight into other people’s lives. I’m very excited because me and Mrs. T are going away for a week to the Yorkshire coast, we are very much looking forward to this because we had to cancel our Corfu holiday last month. Ok Yorkshire isn’t Corfu but it’ll be a nice break for us both. Hopefully I’ll have wifi but if I go quiet on here it’ll be because I can’t get on so much. Have a great weekend and let us know what’s happening in your life,
  3. @liampie it’s a Compaq it’s actually one our son gave us about 12 years ago and he’d had it for a while so it’s almost antique as far as laptops go. ????
  4. Welcome @Kevin May I’m so pleased you’ve joined us, you’ll find a friendly community so have a look round and when you’re ready join in the chat.
  5. It’s funny how people see things differently I thought the background was really good, when they said you could have your picture taken with the trophy I thought it would be just that with the shop goods in the background but they’ve gone to the trouble of making a nice backdrop so good for them. Mind you I’m no photographic expert.
  6. Many years ago when Notts had a proper reserve team that played in a league it was great to go and watch some of the fringe players, players coming back from injury, youth players, players out of favour etc., if I remember right the games were free to watch or very cheap. Happy days. Sorry for the digression.
  7. That’s got to be up amongst the best, if not the best, absolutely incredible.
  8. Thanks for the new blog @TheSkipper it’s a great insight into the build up for the new season the more I read the more excited I start to feel.
  9. Wordle 754 4/6 ⬜????????⬜⬜ ⬜????⬜⬜???? ????????⬜???????? ???????????????????? Nearly got it in three.
  10. I’ve seen some pictures on social media of people with the cup, they do look good with the backdrop, I wonder if there is a charge for this?
  11. We tend to record things we want to watch on our V6 box via Virgin, I wouldn’t pay to watch a stream unless it was very good or as a special treat. We also watch a lot of free on demand, we prefer crime drama/thriller series to films, we record them then binge watch.
  12. I didn’t get chance to take any pictures because the rain started pelting down and I had to grab the food and run back into the house. I am an expert at the BBQ though even though I say it myself, I always wince when I see folks eating black sausages and burgers, there’s so much more you can do on BBQ’s but you have to be careful to regulate the heat so it cooks properly but doesn’t burn the food, it’s an art.
  13. As Notts County fans we can empathise with their fans, we’ve been there a few times during my 60 odd years being a supporter, I really hope they survive.
  14. @TheSkipper I was trying to remember Eugene Dadi, I couldn’t bring his name to mind, he was on loan if I remember right and he spent most of the few games he played on his backside with his arms in the air appealing to the ref for a foul. ????
  15. I guess it depends on how strong the team forest put out is but I think they’ll probably be too strong for us, it’ll be a good test for Notts though. I don’t really mind what the result is but I wouldn’t like us to lose by too many, I’ll go for 1-3 with a McGoldrick goal for Notts. I just hope both sets of fans behave themselves.
  16. Wordle 753 4/6 ⬜????⬜⬜⬜ ????⬜⬜⬜???? ⬜????????⬜⬜ ????????????????????
  17. @Ohh Tommy Johnson So what you’re saying is you and @super_ram are lucky because you got two whereas I’m skilful because I got three. Yeah, I’ll go with that thanks.
  18. I’ve sent you a friend request @liampie and I unfriended your old account as requested. ????
  19. I’m not really interested but I’m sure a lot of fans will be, it’s a good marketing ploy to get fans in the shop and buying stuff while the are there.
  20. Yes he did, I remember him playing for us.
  21. @Ohh Tommy Johnson @super_ram I thought I was doing well getting it in three, then you two come along and burst my bubble.
  22. Wordle 752 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜???? ⬜????????⬜???? ???????????????????? Not a bad effort.
  23. On Saturday 15th July Notts will take on Nottingham For*st in a pre season friendly, kick off 1pm. Over the years there have been lots of players, coaches, managers etc., who have ventured from our neighbours crossing the Trent to Notts County. I’ll start you off with a player from the 60’s and 70’s Bill Brindley became a firm favourite at Notts after making the move making 250 appearances and named as player of the season in 1975, he also played for Gillingham and non league sides Grantham, Burton and Alfreton before managing Meadows Albion, Heanor, Ilkeston and Arnold. How many more links can we find?
