We’re waiting for the carpet fitter to fit our bedroom loft carpet, rather them than me, it’s a rather awkward shape with a narrow corridor leading to the other side of the loft where we store things. Morning @Robbie morning everyone, it’s raining here too and very dismal. We won’t be putting our tree up just yet to be honest we probably wouldn’t bother if the family weren’t coming to stay, we only have one tree in the lounge, I couldn’t cope with one in the bedroom. This morning we’ve been preparing our loft bedroom ready for the carpet fitters who are coming tomorrow, I’m hoping the weather will cheer up this afternoon so we can have a walk without getting wet through. This will be a really difficult match for Notts, I hope some of the walking wounded can return to boost the ranks. A draw would be a great result.

I can’t help feeling that this appointment will end in tears.

While I understand the need for the substitutions I do feel that using up all the available substitutes with a good portion of the second half still to play isn’t a good idea because your always at risk of finishing with 10 men and that exactly what happened. However we move on and look forward to meeting Walsall on Tuesday.

I didn’t go to the match but listening to the commentary it sounds like Bass made quite a few top drawer saves without which the result would have been a heavy defeat, so my vote goes to Bass.

I like Sam’s positivity and how he speaks of the bond between the players, let’s hope Notts can progress in the cup for the squads sake as much as the fans, I think a good cup run will generate cinfidence.

Good morning, it’s a lot milder this morning at 10 degrees, which is perfect because I’m going for my park run shortly and I don’t want to run on ice! @Robbie I couldn’t wait to get away from work when they asked for volunteers for redundancy I stuck my hand straight up. I had a few years to go before pension age and started working with my wife until our son died then we both retired. I love retirement.
