Indeed, that’s the slight worry when choosing a username of a current player or manager you know at some point you will have to choose another, at least being @TheSkipper you only have to change your picture and of course I can keep mine forever having chosen a past hero. ????

It’s really difficult to compare players especially from different eras there are so many variables to consider most of which you have highlighted @KB1862 in your very interesting post. From a personal perspective back in the day I was always interested to hear Tony Hateley compared to Tommy Lawton both were prolific headers of the ball and both played for the Pies or the Maggies as they were known in those days. I never had the pleasure of seeing Tommy Lawton but of course I did see Tony Hateley who became my hero but I don’t think it’s fair to compare him to Tommy Lawton. I guess if I had seen Tommy play I might now be called “Fan of Tommy”.

That brought back a memory, my brother used to be a regular at The Ship, he lived in a static home nearby until he died.

I’ve known of Nigel @Natty for many years although I’ve never met him but he used to be a regular poster on the Notts County Mailing list to which I belong. I know he rarely misses any matches home or away and is a true fan.

I use safari on all my devices as they are all Apple, Safari works fine for me everything is synced, I see no reason to change to another browser.

They’ve very quickly appointed a Director of Football, Stephen Ward who was recently Brackleys Assistant Manager. I think this could be the reason Ardley has decided to part company with the club.

Silly boy.

Just watched the first two episodes of this and although it does have some blood and gore, I quite enjoyed it (not the blood and gore), it’s different and leaves you wondering what’s coming next, the rest of the episodes are on catch up so I’ll probably carry on with it for now and see how it goes. Mrs. Big Tone is not too keen on the gore but she looks away.
