Wordle 723 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜????⬜ ????⬜????⬜⬜ ????????????⬜⬜ ???????????????????? 4 again!- The Weekly 4/6-11/6
I spent most of the week sorting out a claim for travel insurance for our cancelled holiday, the amount of paperwork you need is incredible, the doctor filled in a form to say my wife wasn’t fit to travel but filled it in wrong and charged us £50! So I had to take that back to be re-done. Wednesday I had a really nice run along the canal the first thing in the morning I only saw few dog walkers but lots of wild life on the canal.- Kristian Dennis to Tranmere
I liked Dennis he seemed to have a knack of popping up and scoring goals, I think he will make a good partnership with Hemings whose another decent player.- Weekend Plans 10th/11th June
Nice on @joshua it makes a change for Skeggy to be hot, I’m glad you had a nice day.- Scott Arfield
I’m inclined to agree and say he’s a little too old but I know nothing of him and if our recruitment team think he’s worth taking then I’ll back their judgement but as of yet it’s just a rumour.- Charlie Slater’s take on David McGoldrick
- Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
GET IN!! Sorry @CliftonMagpie was I suppose to wait until the question had been answered? If so apologies to @Fozzy I certainly remember Tony Bircumshaw playing in the 60s, as I say he was a tough tackling full back, quite chunky and hard to get past. If I remember right he played in the same team as Ivan Hampton, the Goalie was George Smith a right character who sometimes used to come out of his goal and dribble up the touch line, he’s even been known to take a throw in.- David McGoldrick: "It's nice to be back at Notts County, it is my club"
I love the way he feels connected to the club and is a fan, what he says seems genuine to me and feeling the way he does about the club means he’ll strive to do the best for “his” club. This is great for both parties.- Wordle
Good innit?- Wordle
4 for me today. Wordle 722 4/6 ⬜????⬜⬜⬜ ????⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜????????????⬜ ????????????????????- Weekend Plans 10th/11th June
Definitely agree we don’t get enough warm and sunny days in this country so it’s good to just enjoy them when the arrive. We are going to bbq our tea tonight and sit out in the sun a bit but don’t forget the sun cream and hats folks, skin cancer can strike many years after, as I have found to my cost, thankfully it was treated and I have a crater in my head where it was dug out.- Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
No not Ivan Hampton my memory is playing tricks, it was Tony Bircumshaw and Peter Bircumshaw both played for Notts, I can remember Tony quite well he was a hard tackling full back from the same era as Ivan Hampton.- Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
I was thinking Chris Short too. Going years back to the 60’s there was a player called Ivan Hampton I think he had an older brother who played for Notts.- David McGoldrick Signs Two-Year Contract with Boyhood Club Notts County
Welcome home David, I’m really excited to see him in the black and white stripes again, once he starts banging goals in we’ll all wonder why there were any doubts.- McGoldrick returns to #Notts!
@super_ram what’s the overall reaction from Derby fans, are they sorry to see him go or glad to get rid and what are your thoughts?- Weekend Plans 10th/11th June
Today was definitely better than last week, we went to the theatre to watch the play which was a bit weird to be honest but I probably should have read the book first, my wife and the rest of the family enjoyed it although grandson Fred thought it was too loud. We decided on a French restaurant in Nottingham instead of a curry, we had lovely meals, Grandson George tried snails and thought they were great, he’s game for anything that lad. ????- McGoldrick returns to #Notts!
Well I have a night off and look what happens. This could be a great signing, I know some people had doubts but if he starts banging in the goals they will soon be dispelled. Welcome home David.- What would you say to the Reedtz brothers?
That’s true. ????- hello magpielane
Thanks for introducing yourself James, next season is going to be great so stick around and talk Notts and football in general, it’s a great site.- Derry and Labadie on Jack Grealish
The lad has certainly done well for himself but you could see that the future was bright when he played for Notts, I think that Grealish and that Scottish lad (Magregor?) we’re a different level. Class acts both of them.- Wordle
Wordle 721 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜????⬜ ????⬜⬜????⬜ ⬜???????????????? ???????????????????? Not bad.- Weekend Plans 10th/11th June
Well I hope my weekend is better than last weekend, which was spent in A&E with my wife. This morning I am doing my Park Run which is 5k run around West Park Long Eaton, it’s their 8th birthday so there will be cake. Whoo hoo! This afternoon we are going with the family to see “Ocean at the End of the Lane” at the theatre daahling! It’s our sons birthday treat so afterwards the whole family are going for a curry on probably the hottest day of the year. Tomorrow it’s a day of relaxation. What have you got planned this weekend? - McCauley Langstaff scrubs up well
